- Welcome to Tyler State Park, just north of Tyler, Texas, where the water is clear, the pine trees are fragrant, and the fish don't bite!
It was a beautiful October day when I gave a tour of Tyler State Park, and as a beautiful adventurous day like this needs, I brought along fishing poles and tackle and gear to fish this lake.
So if you're looking for things to do in Tyler Texas whether you live here, are moving to Tyler, TX, or just traveling through East Texas and have a free weekend, I recommend to visit here!
Thanks for watching!

Thank you! Glad you could enjoy your memories through this video!
@@HeyChannelDani it looks exactly the same as i remember. No gators that far north. 😎
@@AB-kg6rk lol I’ll still keep my eye out… just in case those gators are taking vacation up north! 🤣
Texas is very
BIG !
Looks like I am probably moving to Tyler, if my luck holds out. I met a pretty lady in Texas and, …
I love being outdoors but am wondering about the snakes?
So thanks for all of your Texas videos.
I subscribed.
Oh ETX Brewery is something else you can find in Tyler off Broadway…
Good morning, Dani. It is a beautiful Sunday morning and I ran across your video. I can say in my 56 years of camping and swimming in the lake I have never seen an alligator, so don't worry next time. One more helpful tip that I have is take a little piece of your duck bread and roll it in a ball on a small hook for your bait, you will be catching fish all day. Maybe not a bass, but a brim or perch. Still very exciting. I enjoyed your video very much. TSP. holds a very special place in my heart, thank you for your video. Have a great day!
This Tyler State Park video is seriously fantastic!! Well done 😃
Thanks!!!
First time viewer, enjoyed your personal explorations of Tyler. I just retired @60 in socal, looking at Tyler to build an Earthship on 2-5 acres.
I'm a Tyler, my heritage has over 100 years in Tx. One son is a new home homeowner just south of Dallas, and a couple relatives in central Tx. My great grandfather had a large (4 generations) farm in Wellington. It's a state that values family, and good manners. I'm drawn to Tyler for many reasons, but #1 is it's rolling nature with many water areas.
Hi Lisa, I'm so happy to hear you've enjoyed my Tyler Explorations! It's been fun!!
That's so awesome you're a Texan through + through, over 100 years heritage here! When I moved here, one of the first things I learned was how much true Texans love their great Texas state and the Texas values! ⭐ Thanks for watching, and congrats on/happy retirement! 😄
Where do fishermen go to get their hair cut? To the bobber shop.
Your jokes are the best!! 🤣😂
@@whoaracehorse323 Lol thanks!
Very good video. Enjoyed it so much!!
Thank you, so glad to hear you enjoyed my video! 😁
Thanks for showing this park .
Glad you enjoyed my video!!
If you brought some East Texas Brewery beer being October I would suggest October Fest; you might catch a buzz…
Large mouth bass
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍nice video
Thank you! 🙂 It was a fun video to make! It was such a pretty day to be outside!
😍😚
If you can hear Hwy 20 from Tyler State Park, You are something else. It is most likely Hwy 64.
Ciao Mama Miaa
I'm from up in Minnesota and I love visiting state parks and hiking. I've been considering moving somewhere else in the US and was thinking about Texas, but I wonder how I might handle the heat. I burn pretty easily and I know it doesn't get much cooler down south 😂 Is the heat at least manageable for those of us with light skin? 24 years growing up in the snow's got me looking for something new.
To me, for example, Missouri is hotter than Texas because of the humidity factor. Now the temperatures will reach higher in Texas and the sunshine feels hotter. So if you don't fair well in heat, then maybe somewhere less south, but if you're ready for a change, I really enjoy the Tyler TX region: green trees, warm winters, and enough interesting things to do around here! Hope this helps, good luck in Minnesota!
Is the same Dani from a Slim Patatohead Episode from the Desert 🌵 in California?😊
I think there ARE alligators 🐊 🐊 in that lake, cuz I think that’s what the two ladies were talking about!! 🤣😆
Great slow-mo on the fishing 🎣 Too bad you didn’t catch a fish though ☹️🐟
Lol ikr, the alligators probably ate all the fish up!
Thank you for the tour , I find spinners work best for lakes . Try and get some with feathers .
Glad you enjoyed the video! Ok, thanks, I'll have to invest in some spinners and ones with feathers! It's always fun fishing but its even more fun when you catch something!! lol 😁
Is a nice park, visited in early Aug, but didn't camp . Park was pretty busy at time.
enjoyed your blog.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the park! 😁
Thanks for sharing! I am definitely going to visit the park when I'm there.
Awesome, it's definitely worth a visit I think. Thanks Berto903! Hope you had a nice weekend!
I'm thinking of moving here with my bf in the next few years. Where I live in California now, there are amazing beautiful parks. I want to make sure I move to a place where I am still surrounded by trees and a long hiking trails. Thank you for this beautiful video showing this park.💚
This is a nice place to live and I'm sure a wildly different rhythm than California. I think you'd like Tyler!
@Channel Dani I bet I will too. It's a very pretty place.
Wow, very pretty! Nice and green. 🌳
It was! It was definitely a fun mini day trip!
@@HeyChannelDani I'm putting together a joke show for my channel. Want to join in?
