I think 2000 crore is just for pseudoephedrine, the converted product is said to have much more times the value.

Sir, we all had our doubts about this drug trafficking. Telangana had a huge surge during KCR time.
The chain is connected all over India ( Bollywood is exposed early, but no industry is out of the loop - Malayalam - Kannada - Telugu ) only difference is some industries are completely run by them and some have few people connected to it .
Now catching one person here and there won't break this chain . So, if a gov leverages it to gather intel and to get into power first - I think that's one way .
