Howdy y’all! If anyone is wondering Zurreal is making awesome progress in training! Marina is coming out every single day to work with her and they are both great students 🤓
Of course we'll miss Zurreal but not as much as you will. You have the sense to know when a horse needs something more than what you can give. Even more sense and your love for Zurreal to make sure she goes to someone who can give her what she needs and that includes her safety for her getting there. When a horse attacks the way Zurreal did, that was a wake-up call to her thinking. You did the right thing. Don't let any criticism make you feel bad for your decision.
What, I’m so sad. You did amazing with her. She is gonna be a great horse and one day just think that she could be on tv and you will feel so proud that your the one who trained her! :) At least you have your mustang keepsakes! You will always remember Zurreal and can move on and train another horse. You will always remember Zurreal as your first trained mustang! It makes me sad for Zurreal leaving but it makes me happy that you get to train more mustangs. Her new owner is gonna take amazing care of her!
Let’s all be thankful that she let us watched and went through her journey with Zurreal. I’m so proud for you both. She might even be on TV someday! Eventing, Jumping, Dressage! Who knows! When I was 7-8 years old I had to say goodbye to the horse that started everything. His name was Rio and he was a aqh. He was the sweetest palomino I’ve met. Now I’m moved on and I’m jumping with an Off the track thoroughbred named Tough Honor. We love you! and Zurreal will never forget the moments you spend with her, the effort you put it, the love you gave her, her friends she met! (aka Kassi) I just want you to know we are all here for you every single second. Never forget the love and supporters you have :)
This means you are the best horseman, by thinking and doing what's best for the horse!!! You Win! You now have space to do it again if you want, which, like fostering, typically us meant to do. I think Rick Gore, of Think Like A Horse, would be proud of you, I am, but I'm not a Horseman. Such thoughtful words, you covered everything. Laural
That was a very mature and loving decision to make to put her well-being before your ego, especially in such a public setting like RUclips. I liked your kind way with the animals and your sense of humor before, but now I'm really convinced you are a person with integrity - even though I don't know you in reality!
So proud of how u are so willing to let go of some pride to get help with her training. That’s such an inspiration to me!! I have absolutely loved watching the progress you two have made❤️ thank u for including us on your incredible journey!
Agreed! So many people forget when your training horses you gotta leave your ego at the gate! Brining your ego and pride into the arena and training is not how good horses are trained! It takes a lot of practice but it’s worth it to be able to listen to your horse and understand what they need, even if that might mean placing them in a better home or with a different trainer ☺️💗
Good for you for realizing that your training works for most but not all horses and just may not be at the rate to be ready in time for the show. I'm in the same boat with my training and It works great for my personal horses, but it'll be a while before I'm ready to take on any competitions with a time limit. You'll always be sad about giving up Zurreal but you made a decision that you should be proud of. It was so good for her.
it is very brave of you as an owner to know that your horse isn't right for you, it takes so much courage and strength to do something like this and I am very proud of you for doing that because you knew she wasn't right for you, it must hurt so much to give her up but I hope you don't take it too hard, both of you are amazing, even if she isnt with you right now, she will still be "your first mustang" and thats what matters, I love your videos and zurreal and kazi and even penny and I know that you'll come out of this strong and everything will be good, bol and ly
So proud of you for thinking about Zurreal’s future. The best thing you can do for a horse is setting them up for a successful life. ❤️ Takes a lot of courage to recognize when you need to seek out other options.
I love this so much...I love that you are putting Zurreal first before you that just goes to show how good of a general person you are how good of a horseman you are...I just love...Love your vids😊❤
I think it's really good that you are openly admiting about needing/taking help. No one (even trainers) should feel like they need to know everything or that they cant ask for help. And your totally right about it not being cheeting. The point of the "competition" is to encurage adoption of the mustangs and to show what amazing horses they can be. Its not about what one person can do in a specific amount of time. Keep doing what your doing!
I’m so sorry.. you did amazing with Zurreal and we will all miss her. it’s gonna hurt but we will all be here with you. 💗 Lots of love 💗 also everyone please be kind to her since it was a mustang makeover and she’s said before that she only would have zurreal for a few months.. 💗
That was a smart course to take. So many let their ego get in the way and get hurt or otherwise cause their animal a disservice. There’s a teen at my local barn that has a off the track thoroughbred that has sent her to the ER 6+ times in a small period, she’s committed but, definitely needs more help than can be provided by her alone.
Part of being a good horse person is knowing your limitations, getting help, and putting the needs of the horse above everything else. I’m glad you were able to make the right decision.
You accomplished a lot in a short amount of time with her, and it's totally respectable that you're stepping down. I'm always so impressed with people who are strong enough to do the right thing for the horse, no matter how hard that might be. While it's sad to see her go, you helped her on her path to a happy life
I love how your so open about your level if riding and how you know what is best for Zurreal! Its also sad that she's leaving but sweet that you can still see her 🥺❤
Complete RESPECT for recognizing that this horse needed a professional trainer and doing the right thing by her. This is also a great demonstration of the fact that it doesn't work to get a wild or untouched horse to learn to train horses. That is kind of the same mistake as getting colt so your kid and the horse can grow up together. For training, you learn either alongside a professional trainer doing the actual steps and work with several hoses at different stages first getting YOUR OWN FOUNDATION firmly established. Then move on to a project horse that has been maybe started under saddle but only a few rides, then work back from there to horses that have less and less training. Have people done it by just going for it? Yes? Do they have a well started, confident horse at the end? Generally not. To be clear, I do NOT intend to insult, just share my experience here. I think this horse was approached with lots of uncertainty and what is often called "sneaking up" on her. That makes a horse suspicious of the "predator" coming towards them. It does not make them feel more safe about the human trying to touch them. It makes them fearful or, if/when they figure out you are not a threat, then they read it as submissive. I think this horse eventually got a read of submission and lacked strong leadership in the training process (strong leadership never means being macho or cruel, it means performing exercises to give the horse confidence and showing confidence yourself). Since horses are herd animals, this mare, lacking leadership, made herself the lead mare and started telling the humans in her space what to do. When a human took offense, with a smack, she reasserted her dominance by rearing. It may not have even been real aggression,-can't tell without seeing it. It may have been the first step to no return. Regardless, this is how people get themselves into a dangerous situation. By taking on more than they are actually trained/experienced themselves to handle. Glad this horse's training is now going in the right direction.
I have so much respect for you. The fact that you care so much for Zurreals future is amazing. Not a lot of people would be willing enough to let go of some of their pride to do what's right for their horse. Thank you for being a good role model.
Oh no! You trained her so well! I hope she goes to the best home! She will be missed so much! At least you have so many memories of her on RUclips and in real life! I hope your okay from getting rid of her. We all know that no other mustang makeover will be as good as Zurreal because Zurreal will have a special place in your heart and ours. Have a great day! 🥰😊🐎
No :( I wish she was still here. Camille will probably fix her! I’m glad she gets to go to a good home for a while. Zurreal was a great mare, and I’m so glad you did the giveaway so we can remember her. We’ll always keep her in our hearts. I’m so sorry this had to happen, but she’ll get a good life! ❤️
You did an amazing job with Zurreal and set her up for an amazing life as a domestic horse. I’m Sorry it was so stressful but just know you did a great job setting her up!🥰
I hope you do another mustang makeover. I hope you film more videos about your lessons with Camille! You have inspired me in so many ways. Zurreal is an amazing Mustang and will be a great horse for someone!💕💕
Putting egos aside and doing whats right for the horse is what horsemanship is about!! Its been so cool to see how you two learn from each other. I think you 100% made the right choice for both of you.
It takes a special person to realize they are in over their head with a horse, and to do the best thing for that horse! Best of luck in the future. You and Zurreal!
You may not realize this but physically maybe, you might not be the best horse trailer but mentally you are absolutely amazing. Losing something you loved so much and letting go for their own good 😊 your a great person
I’m super proud of what decisions you’ve made and the learning that you’ve made also !! Your an awesome horsewomen and I believe Camille is the best thing for Zurreal !!!!
Good on you for knowing your limits and putting the horse first. That is the real mark of a horseman. Zurreal is going to be a great horse with both you and Camille working with her.
You have 100% earned my respect as a person, horse trainer and equestrian. You put the horses health, best interest and training above your ego or pride and I think that's something not many equestrians can say now a days.
I am so impressed with your decision-making here. You consider so many factors, and you do what is best for the beautiful horse that you have learned so much with. I hope whoever gets Zurreal in the end is close enough that you can stay in touch. You are absolutely awesome ❤️
I made such a good decision! It is so good you still get to see her! When I saw the title I was about to cry. You have done so good with her so good with her!
You are so so so so kind. I would have not been able to do this. The fact that you took away the competition, and thought about what Zurreal needs and not what you want. I'm twelve, I've been riding for eight years, I would love to adopt Zurreal but I'm not in the position to get one.
I think it's incredibly mature of you to take this big step. It's so hard to do something like this, especially because of the money, time, and love you've put into taking care of Zurreal. This decision couldn't have been easy for you, and you're handling this amazingly. I deeply admire your tact and maturity in this video. I wish you, Zurreal, and Camille all the best!
That’s sad that Zurreal’s leaving but I’m glad that she’s gonna get trained well and it’s so good of you to not worry about your pride and do what’s best for Zurreal!! ♥️ also I think since you can’t ride Kazi anymore, you should get a trained horse maybe who you can ride constantly that way you can still continue on your riding :) just a suggestion though!
Wait what?! I clicked as fast as possible! I hope this is a prank or something! It’s not even the competition dates yet :(((. We were blessed to see Zurreals journey and we will all miss her! I believe that everything is meant for a reason and maybe this is what Gods plan is. You did a great job with her and we will all miss her 💕
I’m glad your putting Zurreal first! Could you do some videos or just short clips of you working with her a bit if you still are I am having a brain fart rn 😂
No........ no....Zurreal. Gypsy I’m so sorry. Horses come and go but you know memories stay forever. You did wonders for her, and she will always remember you forever. Not a lot of people would swallow their pride and would do what’s best for the horse. 😁
So proud of you 👍🏻 that was a very mature decision on your part to put the horse and what is best for her before yourself 👏🏻☺️ love ❤️ following you two please keep us updated as much as possible 🥰
Kudos to you for making the best choice for Zurreal. I've been in your shoes and had to send on a horse with a bolting issue because I didn't have the time and experience to know how to make him a safe riding horse. It's a hard decision to make but you're doing the right thing and giving Zurreal her best chance at a good life.
I feel this is best decision for the both of you. Sounds like you and Zureal will learn a lot during this time. You have a done good job in want you did accomplish with.
It takes a true equestrian to know when you need help. And to know your strengths and weaknesses. You can really mess up a horse if not train right. We miss zurreal but you still get see her and y’all both well learn together.
You made exactly the right (shrewd) decision. It's all part of the learning process, and you are still training with Camille and fulfilling the commitment and staying the journey with the makeover. I'm glad your Prince Charming is okay. We have seen how kind he is with Kazi and that she trusts him. With Zurreal's behavior, if Zack had backed down when she first came at him then the outcome would have been worse and Zurreal would have thought she could get away with bad behavior. Pride and guilt are not involved in this situation. Intelligence is how we use what we know. Reaching out is a sign to improve/growth and intelligence.
I’m so sorry 😞. We all loved her so we know how hard that is for you. We all want zurreal to be safe and happy. I’m going to horse camp tomorrow and I’m
you did the right thing and it was thoughtful of you to go in to such detail as to how you came to this decision. Kudos. Zurreal will be ok, and find her human that is out there hoping and waiting, just you wait and see.
It’s really good that you can realize that she needs someone more experienced and push aside ur own ego and wants that’s really mature and smart glad you did it hopefully next time you can do even better!
Wow. This is really surprising since Zurreal seemed to be doing so well in all the videos you’ve shared. But I have no words to express the depth and breadth of props to you for all you have done up to this point, and for doing right by this horse. Thank the blue heavens that you have access to Camille and she is willing and able to continue training both you and Zurreal. What you have gained from this experience will ultimately take you very far, and will only benefit more horses that will cross your path in the future. 🥰🥰🥰
I love your thoughts on Zurreal future. Zurreal will one day be someone’s most loved thing. I can’t wait to see how this plays out. I love all of your videos have a great day or night 😊 bye!
Zurreal will be missed but she needs this and it is so good that you know that this is the best thing you are a very good rider. And this is amazing that you are logical enough to know what is best for zurreal great job and love your vids
Sweetheart, I know that this had to be a very difficult decision, but the choice you made and your honesty about not being experienced enough in your journey for Zurreal's issues has expanded my respect for you as a person. I'm glad you're still going to come and compete. I am so looking forward to meeting you. Just remember that this experience with Zurreal is not your failure. We all had to start somewhere and learn from basically nothing. You have just begun, you will have so many more learning experiences as long as you keep at it and I can see you becoming a wonderful trainer! It takes time hon, a lot of time. I have over 40 years experience under my belt, but still to this day do and have had to reach out for help in certain situations. I commend you for what you're doing and your decision. See you soon in Oklahoma!
Gypsy Equestrian ~ chin up sweetheart. You are doing great, look at how far you brought Zurreal from where she came from and what she was. Establishing trust, respect, and communication is always the first and honestly the hardest step with wild mustangs or even the domestic horse that has not been handled or worked with at all. You accomplished that step yourself with Zurreal, and most importantly you did it the right way. Counting down the days! So excited to meet you!
As upsetting as this may be for a lot of people, i am so proud of you. Wanting what's best for Zurreal shows how selfless you are. Please do keep us updated and hopefully Camille will also make a few videos of Zurreal's progress 🙏🏻 I would be the right size for Zurreal but am also a beginner horse rider/trainer and not ready for a Mustang just yet 😅 I wish you the best of luck for finding your dream horse and hope you will keep us posted! Lots of Love to Kazi too! ❤️
I will miss Zurreal, but I understand your descision. You want the best and only the best for Zurreal. I am glad you realize that you need to be safe with her, and so you have to let her leave you. I'll miss Zurreal so much!
💔 Incredibly hard decision, but thanks for prioritizing Zurreal 🦄, and for being honest and humble ❤️❤️❤️❤️. You've been such an encouragement to me as I have started training my first horse.
Howdy y’all! If anyone is wondering Zurreal is making awesome progress in training! Marina is coming out every single day to work with her and they are both great students 🤓
Oh that’s amazing to hear :)
Awesome!!! 🙏🏻💕💕💕
Yay that’s awesome Im sure they are doing amazing!😁💕🐴

Great job putting Zurreal’s best interest first. It takes a lot of guts to shallow your ego. Well done!
Thanks Britta!!
Yes I will miss her
I love how much fun you have thinking up and working your skits. I love the regular work you do too. You are fun
What, I’m so sad. You did amazing with her. This is exactly what I was going to say. It takes a lot to admit and especially with everyone on here.
Brave of you to put yourself out there and doing what is best for the horse. 👏👏👏👏👏
Doing what is right for the horse 🐎 is what is right ♡ so glad you get to keep up with her progress
I’m so proud of you, doing what’s best for your horse is the most important and a lot of people don’t realize that :)

Yes ❤️😢
I subbed to you because I was looking for small horse channels😊
@@milevenendgame oh my gosh thank you so much!
Probably the best thing you could do at this point. I started watching Camille's videos first. I love the way she works. Good Luck!

I’m so happy to see people who set their needs aside to make sure that the horse gets what they need! Great job!
I’m sorry…. You did amazing with Zurreal. You trained her as much as you could. We will all be here for you. So sorry again
Such a true horsewoman. To put your horse first. Looking forward to seeing yours and Zureals progress!!
No :(
I wish she was still here.

You did the right thing, for ALL of your reasons. (I’m 5’10”, so I get exactly what you mean about feeling too big on some horses). 🥰
Everyone one of you is amazing. I can't even imagine how hard this is for you. You should win the makeover just for this. I love you are Zurreal! 💓🙏🏼
Proud of you, girl. It's hard to admit you need help with something, but you did the right thing.
I made such a good decision! It is so good you still get to see her! When I saw the title I was about to cry. You have done so good with her so good with her!
Glad you made the video it’s a very important heads up keep up the great work.

Humility is humanity! You are a success! And zurreal will benefit! Bravo!
Good job! You are being really rational and ethical about this and I think it's SUPER admirable!
Wait what?! I clicked as fast as possible! I hope this is a prank or something! It’s not even the competition dates yet :(((. We were blessed to see Zurreals journey and we will all miss her! I believe that everything is meant for a reason and maybe this is what Gods plan is. You did a great job with her and we will all miss her 💕
I’m so sorry for you’re lost. Let’s be grateful that she was with you. She is always in your heart looking over you.
Zurreal will be missed, God bless her on her journey to come also I’m glad you will still be able to see Zurreal
Oh thank God I was afraid you got hurt! I'm so glad she's with Camille!
I’m glad your putting Zurreal first! Could you do some videos or just short clips of you working with her a bit if you still are I am having a brain fart rn 😂
No worries! That is awesome that you are looking out for Zurreal’s best interest and was thinking ahead! It shows that you care!
One of the signs of a good student and a good teacher is admitting that you have more to learn.
No........ no....Zurreal.
I'm so happy your not thinking more about yourself than the horses you are thinking about zurrel and what's best for her
You did a great job--and you're doing the right thing for Zurreal. Hats off to you, Marina.
No body:
You: Zurreal is gone...
Me: *Gasps* *Clicks video*
Me: Awww that's so sweet
I miss her already, I think we all do, but don't worry we know you did your best and that is all that matters ❤️😭🫂
You did the right thing to give her the best outcome😀
Kudos to you for making the best choice for Zurreal. I've been in your shoes and had to send on a horse with a bolting issue because I didn't have the time and experience to know how to make him a safe riding horse. It's a hard decision to make but you're doing the right thing and giving Zurreal her best chance at a good life.
I’m so sad I loved surreal so much, you did amazing with her keep up the good work with kazi and best of wishes to your little family!!
I'm gonna miss zurreal
So sad she's gone going to miss her you did such a good job with her ❤️💔
I'm happy you are putting your ego aside and putting Zurreal first ❤️
Awww I'm so sorry she will be missed so much I hope you get you get another to take care of and love just as much as you did with Zurrel
I feel this is best decision for the both of you. Sounds like you and Zureal will learn a lot during this time. You have a done good job in want you did accomplish with.
Please tell me this is a prank! You did amazing with her. We'll miss her but we'll all be here for you.
I hope it is..
Its not. She said she would have zurreal for a few months for the mustang makeover
It's not.
I think it’s a prank. The Oklahoma makeover isn’t until August. She wouldn’t get rid of Zurrel before then.
@@annegulbransen3961 yea I thought so
It takes a true equestrian to know when you need help. And to know your strengths and weaknesses. You can really mess up a horse if not train right. We miss zurreal but you still get see her and y’all both well learn together.
Good on you for doing what's best for the horse. You made the right decision. You made the responsible decision. You should be proud of yourself.
Reaching out is a sign to improve/growth and intelligence.
that was a tough decision, but you love her and you did the right thing
I’m so sorry 😞. We all loved her so we know how hard that is for you. We all want zurreal to be safe and happy. I’m going to horse camp tomorrow and I’m
Doing what is best for the horse is what makes you a real horseman. Good job!
you did the right thing and it was thoughtful of you to go in to such detail as to how you came to this decision. Kudos. Zurreal will be ok, and find her human that is out there hoping and waiting, just you wait and see.
I’m just happy Zurreal is going to someone who you trust! 😊😊 *virtual hugs* 🤗🤗
I’m so sorry you did so good with her I know that you and all of us will miss her lots and lots of love 🐴❤️
Swallowing your pride and asking for help is hard and you did it! God bless :)
I love your thoughts on Zurreal future.
Zurreal will one day be someone’s most loved thing.
I can’t wait to see how this plays out.
I love all of your videos have a great day or night 😊 bye!
Awww that sucks i'm so sorry but atleast you still get to work with her and see her!
Thank you Lynne 😭😭 I appreciate your kind words! Can’t wait to meet you in real life in a few weeks!
We will all miss her but not as much as you. I’m sure she’ll be happy and hoping she will get better
