Wow this was an amazing introduction tutorial. Please do this for everything!! Pyro / RBD / Vellum (I know that would have to be multiple parts). But seriously really incredible how clear this was. Thank you.
Very nice! .....but would be great to lower resolition or to use 150% scaling. I have 4k display and after youtube compression it is very hard to read, I assume you have 4k with 100% dpi scaling, and downsampled to 1440.
Thanks for making this video, I just switched to Houdini from Cinema4D because I was so unimpressed with how xParticles handles flip simulations. I have been using a similar setup for a few days now and I could not figure out how to emit the particles from geometry, I was stuck using the waterline. I had watched a tut on the DOP flip setup, I am wondering if one is better than the other? I am looking to get a very detailed viscous simulation.
Flip in Sops is the worst idea sidefx had in years. I think they need to stop pandering to amateurs. People just need to learn Dops if they want good stuff. Flip is too complex to work in Sops. Now we get this mess. No pros will be using Flip in Sops that I can guarantee you.
Finally! A comprehensive yet simple video to get to know the new fluid sop. Do more of these please :)
This is waaaaay simpler than what I was trying to learn for setting up flip sims lol. Thank you
Awesome and to the point tut;) Congratulation!! keep up the good work!!

Thanks a lot for the kind words! Sounds good - I'll put it in the schedule :)
thank you so much, this was great!
So good! Thanks a lot! Most clear tutorial about new flip solver up to date) Please do other solvers as well)
Thank You very much!
Thanks for watching!
Lots of thanks~!
really awesome tutorial
👍👍
Thanks a lot! 🙏
Thx! :)

and I guess you can just merge this with a bowl or a glass as a collider? :) neat

what if i wanted to activate that point velocity using a sphere like ina group , how do i do that?
How would I retime this?
