    it looks like you can have it with any type of light! after creating it I just changed the type to a plane and it worked!

    Love the tutorial. And also that floor and fence! Are they procedural?

      Thank you! Yes the floor is done with the instancer you can see in the top of the screen. I think I've used the scatter and align SOP to generate the points and then instanced it in solaris. The fence is a simple copy and transform node I think. Hopefully that helps :)
