Thank you so much for posting this video! I’m listening to as many SisterLocks journeys as I can. I was scheduled to get my establishment in 1/3/22, but I tested positive for Covid and had to reschedule. I am now booked for the week of 1/24/22 and I cannot wait to start my journey! I have high density, 3B/3C hair that is between 14-16 inches that I’m extremely lazy about styling. I am beyond excited to finally obtain low maintenance hair!!

Having low density can definitely be a challenge, but mine is coming along. I’ll be posting a 36 month progress video tomorrow. That should definitely give you encouragement 🎉 I’m still amazed at my results 😊

Love your Sisterlocks and journey! Are you doing a mix of doing your own reties and going to your consultant? I just learned how to do my reties as well and I am trying to determine what works best.
I love for my loctician to do it. They come out more clean and crispy 😂
Wow amazing. Your hair looks nice an full. And I can resonate with your experience and said the samething I would never get sister Loc because my hair is so fine. But I prayed to God about my hair. I think it is good to learn how to. It helped me understand how to take better care of my locs. One of my next videos will show me retightening a baby loc 😆

Very nice. Do you use a loc gel to do reties? And if so, does it effect the texture over time?
Hey! This was so encouraging! What did you use for your pipe cleaner curls (for the hold) since you are a no product person 😀. Also how long did the curls stay in your hair for? Maybe you could do a vid sometime? Till then, I’m cool with a response now 😀
Hey! Hey! Hey 👋🏾 I only used water for the pipe cleaners. I let the pipe cleaners stay for one night and the curls lasted about 5-7 days. I think if I let them stay in longer they will last longer. Maybe my next video will be pipecleaners full tutorial 🤔 🤎

Loving your loss. How do u mix your Rosemary essential oil? Do u apply to the s app only or hair as well? Am 1month locked
I use it in a water mister with distilled water and just a few drops of rosemary oil 🤎
Isn't that alot of mulipulation for your fine hair..I would be scared it's going to take my hair out, especially if I want to remove them.. ❤️ it though 👍
Actually it's not because it's only being retightened every 6-8 weeks and other than that there's not a lot of styling. Also, I've learned that the Sisterlock method is designed not to pull or stretch your hair too much. Retightening is a very gentle process from my experience.
How much does it cost for retie
Each loctician is different. Some charge per hour and some have a set fee. On average my reties range ~$150 every 6 weeks

Microlocks is a broad generic term for small locks. SisterLocks can be considered a trademarked form of microlocks. I went to a certified Sisterlock loctician in Toledo.
