In the future could you explain specifically how you tilt the file when you do your shaping? It's hard for me to understand with the camera whether the file is actually straight up and down against the nail or when it's tilted slightly underneath or actually fully flat, etc. You know? I love you videos so much!! It's just hard for me to grasp.

Ps. Thank you for your kind words. She was really surprised that I asked her to be my model for the video. Because she said her hands are not beautiful and she has a sprained pinky.
I said that I really like to work on “normal” people and everyday nails, not models. Because I want to show the world how I do real nails not perfect nails. And perfection is boring. And the fake application videos on perfect nails are not helpful. No one can relate.
I wish more MUAs would show normal make up looks on everyday people.
Not only on themselves looking all young and perfect. 😜

Such a pretty colour on your model - pale/sheer polishes aren't really my thing but that one is lovely.
Anna, can you please do a video on which Dazzle Dry neutrals/whites/sheers are best? e.g. which apply best and most uniformly? I love neutrals and sheers like Fine China and Taupe of the Morning, (e.g. colors like Essie's Ballet Slippers and Marshmallow) but I find sometimes other DD sheers/lighter colors apply with streaks. Also tips on how to apply such formulas for success and a good-looking application result. Thanks!

They are really helpful because she talks about how they perform, etc like you’re asking. I went on a huge binge watch of these recently! 🥰🥰 Hope this helps!

Hi Ana, I’ve been following for awhile (I can’t remember if I’ve commented or not). I just love your videos and have been following your advice. Learning the difference between the PNF and cuticle has been game-changing for me! I bought my first DD mini kit (used your discount code) with a few neutral minis and love it. Ordered a lobster red mini from Amazon and was sad to discover it without a brush. It’s ineligible for return/replacement on Amazon so maybe I’ll just stick to ordering DD directly from their website. Anyways, thank you for sharing so much amazing information with us. This DD color looks beautiful on your client.

Oh I needed this video today! I used Dazzle Dry on my nails today and I noticed it was a bit stringy! Now I know why and what to do. I only did 2 coats of Peacefully Me but I’m going to try 3 next time. I ordered a couple of blue minis and am waiting on them to arrive. I like the idea of minis too!! ❤
The polish was stringy? Or the top coat? If the polish is stringy then maybe you were applying it over not completely dry base coat?
@@TheSalonLife Laugh with me, ok??? I did it on both. It actually only happened on 2 nails where I got a bit heavy handed and rushed on the polish. I suspected it might not have dried completely. So the second coat was a tiny bit stringy. Then I turned around and did it again with the top coat. I didn’t have problems with any other nails! I’m getting XOXO in the mail today!! 🥰

I tried to follow your advice when it comes to doing your manicure one day then letting your nails rest and then applying polish the next day. The problem I have is that once I remove the clear coat that I usually wear my nail beds hurt so much the next day. Is that normal?

My left index broke I've been filing it down but I keep getting this little micro chip 🤷🏻♀️ I filed it again it won't go away it's shorter then my other nails I don't want to file it down more suggestions?

Hi Anna, if you shouldn’t thin base coats do you just throw them when they’re stringy? 💔
Avoid the stringiness by not allowing water into the mixture and keeping the rim of the bottle clean with acetone (without getting the acetone inside)
I have a question... Do I still do warm oil soaks if I am using a nail hardener? I'm trying to harden my nails because they are so bendy. Is the oil going to make them too soft?
yes yes and yes to the soaks. Oils don't make the nails too soft.

Yes. I used it in this video :)) That is what I used. I never use another brand thinner with DD
