only way to benefit your pocket is to avoid these rip-off stalls. That way they may get the message and charge more reasonably
Hi Harrison. Tacos Padre is a cute pun in Spanish. It means Dad's Tacos but also "Nice or Pleasant" Tacos. Que Padre! (How nice). I live in Southern Mexico. Here for 6 quid you could buy a lot of tacos, especially at the market, or a street vendor.
Yay Chinatown. Where we would go in the 60s 70s for a dirt cheap meal (NYC) There was one place that had noodle dishes for one US dollar a bowl....Delicious filling and super economical. What no Red or Black Bean Moon!? hehehe.
Harrison what was the name of the sauce with the Entrecote? I might be able to help with how to make it. Jacques Mexico retired
pandan cake is actually sooo good and honestly the price is reasonable in this cost of living crisis lol
Can you go to the Fortnum & Mason ice cream parlour and confirm that's overrated? Also you get a badge first visit that grants you free unlimited toppings (like £1 each) in future visits for eternity.
I love how real you always are about prices
Fish taco here in NS (surrounded by water) still run $18-24, and most haven't enough fish. Too pricy.
$4 for a taco is f**king stupid 😮 and instantly criminal
I think the word you’re looking for is “overpriced” 😂 as you gobble those strawberries
Why did the cake look like insulation 7:17 😂
Harrison, I just found you a few days ago... you are soooo real.... I appreciate that you appreciate time and money 😂😂😂😂...
Love the honesty.. people might not like it but who cares if they get but hurt ..keep it up 👍🏼
I can imagine overhype creates these prices, but think some of the extortionate costs are also down to trying to have a small business in London
I tried the chicken shop when I was in London, worth it despite the wait! Very crispy and tasty. And has good bubble tea as well.
Real street food (like the one in Asia) is meant to be cheap but in London is an overpriced hipster thing, that’s why I never do it, I rather go to restaurants if I am going to be paying stupid prices, at least I get a place to sit
Thank you, Mr. Hairy Webb. Love you so mucho, mate. 🖤
The Golden Eagle is one of my favourite pubs.
two pounds for that much Pandan cake is actually a really really good deal!!
in Dublin they sell same of those cake but "family size only" for 10 euros in Stephen's Green Shopping Center.
That particular branch of Ji Chicken has become a pain in the ass because it's full of people queuing to get tiny pots of chicken bits to share and upload to their socials - so the queues are so long! Not only that, you're missing the best thing, the flattened chicken breast. £8.50 for this in the Ji Chicken near me (Kingston), not sure in Z1, but get that, get curry/numbing spice on half, and whatever you want on the other. It's banging every time.
I went to the steak and frites resturant when the UK had eat out to help out and it only cost £14! Thought it was a little underrated but this has inspired me to go back!
I tried the Chinese bakery pandan chiffon cafe in April before it went viral omg so good. My one regret is not buying more! I probably waited 5 mins in the line and worth it. I’ve tried to make it myself and buy it at home in Australia and no good :(
