      @@MrVahe Based on both of your videos, I'm definitely getting an Enterprise Electric. Thanks so much for the detailed setup and follow-up process a year later. I was stuck going back and forth between the Enterprise Electric and the Orbit Electric, but ultimately, this one seems to work better for me. Moving in a month, so I'll wait to push the order button, so I don't have to pull out the gaming tools (from your first video) twice. 🙃

    Hi, thanks for the video, I purchased one that I still dont full arm but Im afraid it may not be for me, can you please help me on this?
    Can you use the pc seated with the keyboard tray retracted or does it hits your knees? I see you use it standing up but I have mobility problems and can't
    I see there is a hole in the middle, is there some way to cover it up so I can put things under the monitor?
    Does the arm rest bothers you? I feel like I have to stretch a lot to use the keyboard, and lose a lot of desk space.

    • @MrVahe
      @MrVahe  9 месяцев назад

      I’d say depends on how many equipment you have and if you’re planning to get more equipment. The commander v2 will be suitable for more rack units I’d say. And the keyboard stand is more sturdy (no wobble at all) comparing to a keyboard tray.

    Is there enough leg room under the piano tray to line up the top of the desk to your arm rests? I’m a pc gamer and need to know if the piano tray will still be practical or get in the way.

    • @MrVahe
      @MrVahe  2 года назад +1

      It really depends on your armrest of your chair, if the arm rests are adjustable to reach then yes. In my case it aligns. In the worst case scenario if it doesn’t align for you, if you’re not going to use the keyboard tray, you can detach it from the desk.

    • @gabrielcumbie7578
      @gabrielcumbie7578 2 года назад

      @@MrVahe I’ll actually be using it with the same keyboard that you have, and the tray is the main reason for me looking at these standing studio desks, but if it’s uncomfortable because of leg room and armrest height, then that’s going to be the same for pretty much all desks with piano trays. So if you’re all the way up against the desk with your armrests touching the top, How high up do the arm rests need to come up? And how is the leg room?

    • @justaskin8523
      @justaskin8523 2 года назад

      @@gabrielcumbie7578 I too am thinking of getting this desk, which is 75" in width (just a bit more than 2 meters wide), or maybe the Xtreme, which is 65 inches in width (just a bit shorter than 2 meters wide). There is also the Orbit, which is a less-fancy version of the Enterprise but is just about the same width and also has the sit-stand capability.
      The two rooms I have are both about 130" wide, so the Enterprise would give me about 2 feet of space on either side of the desk and the Xtreme would give me 3 feet (1 M) of room on each side. This would leave room for a guitar, violin, trombone, or trumpet stand on either side (or both sides). Or stand-alone speaker stands or a sheet music stand or microphone boom. The less stuff on the desk, the more room for controllers and whatnot. But then again, the less stuff on the desk, the more stuff on the floor. It's a two-edged sword I guess, but either the Enterprise or the Xtreme would be good for me.
      I very much like the Enterprise Electric in all-white, but the Xtreme gives more floor space in the room and has that high-tech-looking carbon fiberesque surface plus a band of LED lighting along the edge. Of course, I'm handy with tools and could make my own high-tech desk if I were really motivated to do so. It's not hard to source a good sit-stand base unit with all the motors and electronics, and then just build the desk on top of that. But there's something to be said for a properly thought-out and manufactured solution. If I buy something ready-made, it'll probably be from Studio Desk.
      The Studio Desk website also has a comparison chart of every model they make and the dimensions, whether it has sit-stand capability, how many rack units it can support, etc. www.studiodesk.net/wp-content/uploads/2018/03/Comparison-Sheet-All-models.pdf is where you can find the chart.

    Hello VA, I have seen on RUclips, the two videos related to your STUDIO DESK.
    I am interested in buying precisely the same configuration as you have.
    But while browsing the site, a certain caution caught my eye.
    I would like to place a specific order:
    - the same white desk as you with ;
    - the black side panels with the new multi-color LED process.
    -the new generation legs (3rd if I have followed correctly) for stability.
    -the cable tray for storing cables
    -the new memory block (for control and use of the desk lift)
    -and the USB 3 patch to fill the "hole"
    -the new memory block (for control and use of the desk lift)
    -and the USB 3 patch to fill the "hole" in the lift button
    and maybe I forgot something.
    Can you help me draft this order with all these updates so that it is accurate.
    I did remember the promo code VAGE.
    If ever this first step is possible I thank you very much.
    Advice is never useless.
    If it is possible I will have other requests for references and places of purchase for
    -your articulated microphone stand (which seems very interesting to me).
    -may be your two screen support and image splitting process, but at the moment this is just an option. I would wait until I have the desk to plan.
    I had forgotten: I am French, speak very little English and I am not used to buying things of a certain volume without having looked at or touched them.
    But SLOVENIA is a bit far for this purpose.
    if you answer me i will be very happy, and i thank you again in advance.

    Where's the acoustic treatment? :(
    I'd NEVER want to work in small, non treated, purely hard surfaces room like that... that's so weird.
    LOOKS great, but it's a STUDIO... so... acoustics first.

    • @gauthierlagrange490
      @gauthierlagrange490 2 месяца назад

      He said he lives in London, so he probably has a very small appartment and the studio is not a standalone room (probably a part of his bedroom). So acoustically treating his entire bedroom would be quite expensive, unpractical, not to mention the impact on the overall estethics of the room that should be taken into account when it is also your bedroom.
      Having a acoustically treated room dedicated to your studio and producing is great, just, a lot of people can’t do it.
      I live in Paris and I’m in a similar case, for the mix and more precise producing, I use high end studio headphones, I use the speakers mostly for my enjoyment or when I work with someone else. Obviously a dedicated room would be ideal, but I can’t right now and it works quite well for me like this.

    • @Mtaalas
      @Mtaalas 2 месяца назад

      @@gauthierlagrange490 headphones are very VERY different from speakers and inherently very uneven. They don't have cross-feed between elements and there's no acoustical space at all (no RT) so they sound vastly different from speakers. They have their own issues and to get truly monitor level reproduction you need phones that are priced in their thousands.
      Speakers are cheaper up front, but they require the thousands put into the acoustic treatment and thus it's basically a draw between the two.
