You are the only guy who fully understands destination of this little thing - crushing metal riffs and stunning cleans runs directly into interface - that's the point! It's annoying when another YT guys are trying to connect Sansamps to tube amplifiers treating this pedal as classic MultiFx - we know that it doesn't work! Imo is the best review because Lubo didn't try to highlight the Rammstein sound or style. I hesitate to buy this because I'm not huge Rammstein follower. For example rk5 is suitable also to metal, not only to Ritchie's style. Now is clear also for pl 1. Thanks Lubo!!!
I’m a professional touring guitarist and I use the Flyrig5v2 for all my live shows. Almost always use into a valve head, but into the fx return not the preamp input. This produces a great tone because I keep my core flyrig5v2 tone but the valve power amp gives it extra juice than simply through FoH. I also run the xlr I to the desk - big sound.
I just saw Rammstien last night in Los Angeles ❤. It was massive Power !!! The Best & Loudest Show that I have ever been too. Thank You So Much for this demonstration Cheers
Hi Lubo, thanks for the demo. I'm using the RK-5 (mainly direct into my RME Babyface) and am totally 'in'' to it, although I have not yet discovered everything it can do, I think. The PL1 sounds good, but in this video, I think, it does sound a little 'direct into the mixer', almost a little piezo-like, or is it just because you were so excited about it, that you just wanted to do a demo, no matter what (whcih I can totally understand!!!). Don't get me wrong, it is a sound many are after. I'm more 'old-school' and also looking for more clean, funky sounds. The RK-5 delivers a lot, but I just want a little variation. Do you think, the PL-1 could get that as well? The clean sounds you offered were ok, but did not convince me, so far. Thanks again for the demo! Greetings from Wolfenbüttel ;-)
Hi there, I'm not sponsored by anybody so I genuinely enjoy the sounds I present. My personal perspective is a producers point of view and judging the sounds in isolation without a "band" or "mix" situation can fool the ear quite dramatically into thinking that way. And I get your point;) But anyone who has ever tried to mix a band knows the sounds that work for a mix aren't necessarily the sounds that sound all great in isolation. The pedal was definitely tweaked to do that because it integrates seamlessly. Everyone has different tastes and a different playing situation so I don't know if it'll work for the old school stuff. But as a fan of minimalism this is right up my alley and that's why I did the video. Ich habe übrigens nur auf englisch geantwortet damit auch andere die Antwort verstehen, ansonsten unterhalte ich mich auch gerne auf deutsch. Grüße aus Berlin
