The "...I think that there's maybe like a resistor in the bypass of this pedal..." because "...unfortunately, you know, I designed these things with so much gain, they're just so insane..." came out with such beautifully dumbfound clarity and honesty, it's perfect. 10/10
This could be a two hour installment and I would still want more. DBA is going to be one of those makers that people will still be talking about in 50 years. Great stuff!
YASSSSS! Thank you so much for this amazing video! As Ollie is becoming a personal hero to many of us, we’re grateful for the attention to his fabulous brand of creativity. Thank you Earthquaker! Thank you DBA!
This dude is beyond the stress we generate around guitars, pedals, amps and tone. He’s the living proof that you got nothing to prove, if you have something to tell with your music.
Love seeing the evolution of his pedal boards. The fact that he has different pedals almost every time he tours is kind of crazy! If I was so lazy I would screw all my pedals to my board too 😂
Can’t wait for that Galaxy Channel releasing? I miss the sound of my old cassette 4-track, best overdrive on the planet. Not the distortion, but the way they handle a good overdrive pedal. Nothing else like it. I’ve got the Germanium Filter and that thing is incredible
Ooooh that Space Divider pedal is to die for. Its like an analogue multi effects box. I'm one of those people that just cannot get on with most multi effects pedals, as i find them too complicated. When I hit the button I want to be sure of what sound I am going to get, so I've always had to have seperate pedals, and each one just does one function, but that I can get my head around as it looks really simple to use.
That pedal board should go to a forensic pathologist just to see what kind of remains are on it. You should consider getting shoe coverings so whatever is on that board does not give you “”toe jam”…… wow that board is filthy man!!! Hahaha
Absolutely the most chaotic pedalboard and guitar combo ever. I love to see it. Such a legend.
This goes beyond relic-ed and into the realm of mesolithic-ed

how that thing stays in tune is one of the great wonders of the world
That pedalboard looks like someone took a shit and lit it on fire. This guy seems insane and makes ear splitting cacophonous noise. 10/10
this comment was hilarious
Whenever you like his music and sound or not - it's obvious Oliver is a freaking talent. And those visit cards are the best I've seen in my life!

0:43 “it was a jaguar”
This is a great antidote to all the tone wankers on RUclips. Thank you!
I love everything about this. I love the look of his gear to his aesthetic all around
Wow, what an awesome human! First time seeing this guy and he some kind of won my heart.
The back of that pedal board would make the COOLEST album cover.
This dude is beyond the stress we generate around guitars, pedals, amps and tone. He’s the living proof that you got nothing to prove, if you have something to tell with your music.
hell ya we’ve been waiting for this one
I have a business card I got from NAMM a few years ago I still have yet to build!! Thanks for the reminder Oli!
I dreamt of this video for a while
please make the Galaxy Channel to production model
Love u Ollie, thanks for always being an inspiration in the gear community
nice to see that Jag still going, truly a zombie guitar. When's the Fender signature model?
I bet they're waiting for the zombie apocalypse to come out with that signature model.
this is one of the most practical pedalboards i have seen. beautiful.
It looks like that pedalboard survided a nuclear bomb, it's gorgeous!
Love seeing the evolution of his pedal boards. The fact that he has different pedals almost every time he tours is kind of crazy! If I was so lazy I would screw all my pedals to my board too 😂
I´d really like to see the current bassist´s rig as well.
great video!
0:48 this should be Fender Masterbuilt spec
He’s always so unintentionally funny too
I dig Oliver so much. And I’d love a Buisiness Card!
Love this -- love the band and DBA -- thank you!
EQD + DBA = awesome
he is such a nice guy
Nice Carlin shirt Ollie, keep making that glorious noise we all love.
Tell us. How loud was that room.
Love DBA, love his aesthetic, love his approach.
Nice! Looking forward to yr SF show

it must be digital but I see what you mean.
Man i want one of those business card delays for real! I been running my fuzz war with my hoof lately and ill be honest, its a lot.
Is the Galaxy Channel based on the Tascam 424 by chance?
0:36 So… this is the Fender Custom Shop Signature guitar I didn’t know I needed. But whatever. I’m into relics. Sue me. 😂❤
oh i guess this Galaxy pedal filter was never release, but maybe the Evil Filter is close ??
What is that tremelo pedal?.was it oart of your line?
Is that 4 track preamp pedal available to buy???
Loved the One piece at a time reference
Oliver, please make that wicked big spring reverb pedal that you picked up and dropped in that EQD show us your junk video! Please!!!!!
Love the sounds this scientist makes
I think I'd need a tetanus shot after playing that guitar
i need that 4 track pedal so bad. im addicted to the sound of overdriven tascams :)
please drop the 4 track preamp pedal my homie 🙏🙏🙏
having a guitar like that honestly shows off his ingenuity haha
Should we all chip in to get him a new guitar? 😅
😂😂😂
I can totally identify with how shredded and dirty everything is.
finallly
the galaxy channel. wow!
Ollie is a mad genius !!
the noisemeister general 🤟
Ollie: "Can I borrow your guitar?"
Me: "Mmm no, man."
Ollie Ackerman setup=threat to public health😅👌
Love. The 🎸 guitar..
wtf ollie just casually dropping those amazing sound galaxy channel, business card delay, and aptbs multi-effects unit like WHAAAT
Is he using daisy chain power?
Heck yeah!
Oliver Rules!
Amazing 😮❤
Yes, but please tell us about the tonewood the guitar is made of🤓
Brad Laner in a pedal.
Now let's see John's pedal board please 😊
much needed
so much gain. so insane.
6:33 that’s really clever 👍👍
Oliver is a mad scientist.
Fender artist model when?
The helicopter sounding tremolo at 12 minute area of video is bonkers 😂
Love that super choppy tremolo
It's like a helicopter/machine gun/brick in the dryer chop. Pretty Rad!
Sounds EXACTLY like the repeat switch on a Vox Marauder
EQD Hummingbird has a setting that gets pretty choppy! I was trying to find something that got close to that slow Vox Repeater sound.
That Galaxy pedal is legit
I like that some of those pedals are 1/1 items in some rpg game lmao
Watching you play the Tetstang through the rat rod rig makes me hope you have your tetanus shot!!! Sounds badass!
1:21 quality Johnny Cash reference❤
❤❤❤❤
This might be the craziest 8 pedal board of all time…
I wonder what TSA thinks these are used for
😂
That chopping trem at the end. So narly!
genius!
What is the brand of Chinese pickups? Tone of God? I know the brand Artec
Suh dude
That is one post-apocalyptic rig!
Please make that delay??????????????
That guitar looks like driftwood lol dig it
Neil Hamburger plays Ollie Ackermann
"i've got to treat my gear like shit"
That guitar is fucked up! I love it!!!
Does this count as some kind of necrophilia?
A modern guitar hero
fuck yeah
The open pores of the plant cells really resonate harder when exposed to the elements
Sonic heaven.
Oliver plays the zombie guitar
“It’s been cracked a few times” …mate that guitar looks like it’s been mauled by a bear
And rebuilt by the same bear.
ye thats roadworn relic

the neck is probably from squier jaguar
