Great footage, enjoyed watching ✌️I bought new 2015 Ninja 300 years ago, it's 2024 and still own it, 41.000k miles on ODO. I mostly spend riding time on a mountain twisty roads and its a blast to ride on this lightweight bike with a just a light mods like: K&N High performance filter and an actual sport tires, this Ninja never gave me an any issues whatever, on time oil change is absolutely must on these bikes, I would suggest every 3K miles max. I usually do 2.5k. along with chain lube...

Yea they are great bikes and plenty fast on the twistys. I bought this one at 14000 street miles and did another 7k miles on it track only. Thats 7000 miles of non stop redlining, and banging up and down gears, i since sold it and was still running pretty strong. They can take abuse if you do the basic services

Just curious, what set of tires did you had? Saw video description, summit point? West Virginia?

Great riding by both riders. I am not sure how many people realize you could have passed the guy like 6 times.... and would have possibly kept the lead assuming you were both riding to the same level as you had been in the corners, they would have passed you on the long straights but you'd have got it right back in the corners if you'd taken one of those pass opportunities.... But there was that super long part of the track that MAY have made keeping the lead super difficult. But even so, if you were to show the lap times of both bikes to the average rider, most people would have trouble believing that one was half the size.

Hes my buddy, didnt want to pass him because I wanted him to lead. But yea, I could have stuffed him a few times lol. It was tempting but sometimes its fun to just play follow the leader

I think the Ninja 300 looks so much better than the Ninja 400
    What do you guys think?
If Kawasaki made a bike with the 300 body and the 400/500 engine I would definitely buy one right away.

I think I'll stick to my 400 or even get a second bike like the ninja 300 for a beginner track day. Never raced before but can ride. My goal was a 636 but if I can't even use 110% of my z400 I'm not gonna do too well on a zx6r. Maybe track day on a 300cc might help tune me up a tad.

@@ThunderousNinja a 400 is close enough to a 300 for training purposes. There are a lot of things that seperate going fast and going really fast. Id say consider some proper coaching. Doesnt have to be a crazy expensive school, just some good one on one with a fast coach at a track day.

This is great. I'm looking at getting a Ninja 300, Ninja 400, R3, or KTM RC 390 as my track bike. I don't really want to put my Ducati Monster 821 on the track for some reason.

@@MattHallJava 300s and 400s are tons of fun, and at some point youre gonna take a spill. No need to bang up a nice Ducati. Id recommend a ninja 400, the other bikes are sorta slowly getting phased out of the track day scene. A ninja 400 will be a great bike, and when youre done with it, by that time probably a much easier re-sell than the other bikes. But hey if you find a good deal on something else or you just like the other 300s better, go for it

oh snap! i haven't been there yet. i didn't know it was so technical. i gotta keep that 300 in tight spaces to not get humiliated. small bike mafia for life!

Hell yea! I love my 300. Its very technical track and you gotta really hit your marks and make use of the whole track on the little bikes to keep the pace up with the 600s. A real fast guy on a 600 will get away from me on this track but if a 600 or 1000 is running a casual pace I can hang with them on shenandoah. Thanks for watching!
