That's not a heavy bag that's a whale bag!
Fr it's like 400lbs
Or maybe man is really really little 😆
😂🤣🤣😭😭Only thing i could focus on
Yeah i feel like everyone who didn't make it in sparring in that gym is right now stuffed inside that bag in little pieces 🤣

That’s the heaviest bag.
Das yo mam syze heavy bag shiiieeeeeee
Or the smallest man.
@@Jonsson474it's both. The guy's 4'9 horse jockey vs Greek Bag 800 lbs. Made for Zeus himself
“the heaviest bag” 😂
That bag is renting out that room
😂😂😂
I thought he was a kid at first 😂😂
Big ahh bag
Look him up. Your respect will come naturally.
@@zu1875lu I meant the bag was big
He is very small aswell. Looks like a featherweight. He packs alot of power in his kicks tho. But so does anyone who knows how to throw a kick.
@@Zobokolobozo hes been WC.
I am. A 52 year old kid
You do not want to get hit with a kick like that. Nice work.
Imma gonna smesh him, rodtang or nasukawa will smesh him
Yeah that would fucking hurt lol
You do not want to get hit by that bag!
@@TEMUJINARTS in a real fight is not that easy to not make mistakes, so you could get hit by one of those
@@TEMUJINARTS opposed to training, if you dont understand a simple sentence thats not on me. I guess you are just the perfect fighter
Must have watched this 50 times, switch kick is my worst, thanks.
Same for me. I gotta stop and think about switch kicking, by that time I would of already gotten hit lol.
Takes a lot of practice and time. I hope you kept up with it 💪🏻
It took 14 years to manufacture that bag😂
"How heavy do you want your bag?"
"Yes!!!"
Perfect bag for practicing kicking giants
Appreciate you damon 🙏
Excellent switch kick. Haha
I guess I go to big because I make my switch very big.
@@sunofpeter2 Are you hopping to switch? That's a common problem. It's a switch, yes, but rear foot lands first...it's a rock towards the front foot, not a hop.
@@robwithrbk you know I might be , I am however keeping my toes in contact with the floor , sliding them along the ground. I first learned to switch in karate, I am inadvertently defaulting into that wide stance.
@sunofpeter2 Gotcha. Yeah, a hop will slow you down a lot too. You should be able to pull off a switch kick rather tightly. Front foot becomes rear, pushing you (almost rocking forward but very quickly) on to the weight of your now lead leg. To hop and do that is really slow and tends to widen the stance. Good luck bro.
@@robwithrbk Where did you train? I trained for about 14 years at AMC pankration in Kirkland. Before Matt Hume moved the school. I also trained under Kru Rameriz in Seattle. Fought in lumpinee stadium where I got my butt kicked. Now, I am just an old guy that doesn't fight anymore. At 52 we all slow down. That being said I wish you the best in life and your career.
Nice to seen him still in the game
What a badass looking dojo
I wish my gym had one of these bags. They're great for combination work
Great for power too. If you can made dents into that thing, you can hurt someone who's lighter than that bag
@@hypnoticskull6342do you know how much that bag weighs by chance?
Good instructions! Remember to always lower your guard while kicking! 💪🏻
Awesome! Thank You!
Finally someone showed the right technique. Thank you.
The scariest things to fight:
1. Gorilla
2. Alligator
3. The guy who delivered the bag
4. The camera man
I’m more impressed of the bag actually. When he kicks it looks more beautiful impact sounds
At my gym, kiatmoo9, we dont focus so much on how big or small the switch is, we focus on the speed of the switch. the way you move your feet will differ depending on how you’re using the kick(offensively, defensively, moving forward or backwards and cutting the angle), but I was taught the speed of the switch and the speed of the hip turning over is what generates the power necessary for a powerful kick. And we are the best kickers on the planet.
love it when people drop their hand on the leg side when they kick, super easy to counter and they run right into it. Super common mistake that even high level strikers make.
some arts teach that it generates more power by swinging your arm down towards your kicking leg😂
@@dogfather2320 It is true I find it gives the Kick more pop. However to make it defensively responsible I find keeping the lowered hand ready to Parry or Trap the incoming strike following is a Handy tactic. Hand Parries out of Shell Guards have saved my ass more times then I can count. Mainly since I'm not the best reactor
Alright cause you’re a world champion fighter right🤦🏻♂️ another RUclips clown tryna flex his knowledge that nobody gives a sh*t about. This is common knowledge. You’re not teaching us anything new. Maybe teaching yourself that you’re not as elite as you thought, but some schools teach to swing the arm down to generate more power. Keeping the hand forward offers more protection but at the compensation of power. Not that easy to counter when you know how to set it up. Just look at Leon Edwards.
super easy to counter you say. You say counter and do not even bother describing the counter to use. I am very interested in the counter you are going to use that has anything to do with their hands being down while they are leg kicking you.
That said, you are so F.O.S it's coming out of every hole in your head. Every single Muay dojo // camp in Thailand teaches the exact same thing as it maximizes power and helps keep you more center balanced.
Don't tell me, you are a krapate, Krap maga student or bullshito student.
But please, post a link of your counter.
Those bags are great to condition your legs from the knees down ……entry-mid level…..the rolling pin 🧷 method is by far the sorest but you’ll smash through anything with your legs a few years in!!
I tried it for first time in my 45years and my leg is broken in three places. Love it.

Daaaam man I can't wait to get back to training 😭😭
I love bags like that. Least versatile bags but they're still awesome and it would be great if every gym had one.
This helped me so much!
Good technique ❤
Thanks!
Thé best tutoriel.
Always got good advice and good combos
Thanks u so much 😊😊
Switch left kick, my favourite strike in any martial art. Not much feels nicer than landing it flush on the pad / bag / persons ribs
Ironically that bag looks like it never seen the inside of a gym before 🤣
Good technique!
Damien where can we buy that bag?
Amazing
Wow Perfect 👍💪
I’m not too fawned of the switch kick. I really try to blade and step out to throw my lead leg. Some of the newer guys like how the switch kick looks, but just winds up telegraphing the kick. I really like this short switch. Cuts down opponents reaction time. I’m pretty short at 5’5” and getting old. I don’t have the speed or power I had in my early 20’s. I do love kicking the back outside part of the knee, on the lead leg. This sets up the switch kick to the inside part of the same knee. This seems to work nicely. Particularly against taller guys.
Nice :) sounds usefull, if faints one way or another is okay :)
Hey. So what is this used for. Is it sort of faking out the opponent or is it just to generate power
@@jdjjsnsnsjdjdjsjsnsj4457 From how I have used it is to switch stances from orthodox to southpaw with the exception to generate more power. I do believe it’s good to train particularly for hip mobility and diversity. I believe people like to do it, because it looks cool. Like almost like a cool fight sequence. That being said I believe that you can get as much power with faster preserved speed by stepping at and angling correctly. This is what works for me. To switch kick: you must actively bring you front leg forward the fire off the kick. Now to kick with the lead leg if you step out at an angle with your back leg, you effectively put your self in the exact stance but at a different position. The forward leg now becomes the rear leg and it’s a lot faster and less noticeable.
Champ we need to see those flying capabilities vs that 500p bag. Cheers !
We need way more videos of this guy teaching with all due respect 🫡💪🏽
Nice technique. I Thai boxed for years and love this kick.
Pretty sweet kick!
A true switch kick is one where u feign a kick with one leg but u throw one with ur other leg.
Love that, definately trying that asap 👍👏
Look how he’s not crossing his legs to loss balance’s awesome stuff here

Hide your switch with one or two punches. Or step right and left.

thanks for your advice but hope you are also doing your advice. check actual kick in slow motion.
Thanks Coach. 👍👍🥊🥊
With the leg post kick, do you try to land back in orthodox stance or are you happy to land back into unorthodox and move from there?
Decha, yes.
Nice
I didn’t even see it the first time
Look at what you have to do to mimic a fraction of a southpaw’s power
Who's he planning on fighting training on a bag that size!? Hulk... Watch out!
If you had to choose only 3 kicks from Muay Thai and 3 punches to use in a fight, which would you choose?
Step forward with the left first before the switch?
bro ive done this without knowing ive done this before
Yes this right
I've seen a bag double or triple this size in a gym in Shenyang city, PRC. That was the heaviest bag for sure.
You know what's funny I'm a big ufc fan but I've never trained. I've gotten in fights but we never really kicked growing up(unless your opponent was on the ground🤷🏿) and every once in a while I try out a kick. It always feels awkward as hell when I throw one that's not at the end of a combo. When I tried this, my kick fluidity instantly felt way better.
Way to telegraph it tho
Where can I get a bag like that?????
Looks like that original Bruce Lee bag I saw decades ago.
Thats akin to telegraphing your punches. Same move can be effected by a hip swivel , turning your anchor foot by the hip and toe anchoring on the heel leading with the knee snapping the ankle on the final thrust. Train it enough to develop timing into power...
With all due respect, the switch kick is one of the most common and effective moves in Muay Thai, and I'm sure you're familiar with just how effective Muay Thai as a combat sport has proven itself to be over the years. Therefore, though you may be correct in some points, I think it might be best to let the kicks proven usability and effectiveness speak for itself. Have a nice day! :)
@@syndra7757
No doubt, it is a very powerful move indeed. No disrespect intended but for the bigger guys, that initial shift of weight for the anchoring power shot is telling a story and if your good enough, you can evade it or absorb it everytime rendering it useless as it draws a lot of energy. But for the smaller guys it generates a lot of speed and power for sure. I train it too and know the power that comes from it. Thank you
@@krillinroshi9312 I certainly see your point! Everybody is different and thus must adjust their techniques to fit their body type, I suppose! Good luck with your training!
@@syndra7757
Thank you, and you with yours. Stay safe.
🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍💪💪💪
My problem is I throw a kick and roll my hips like I am supposed to but doesn't feel like I hit with an power. The flip side, I kick with wrong technique and feel like I have power. What gives?
That's a normal size bag. He just small.
Is their a weight class below fly weight?
Do you always kick with your leg thatd further back?
