I like the symetry of the look! And I had a good laugh imagining you with a ruler trying to see the difference between the Shifts
I only wish I had thought to measure it on camera and spare myself the agony!
Just did this last week with mine and I thought the shift key thing was just me finally losing my grip on reality or something, so thank you for the confirmation that it's a known issue lol. This looks great! The color scheme matches up so flawlessly, I love it.

What keys did you go for on yours?
I wasn’t aware you could change the keys on the Alpha. You might’ve just convinced me to buy one!

Did you end up getting the shift and spacebar to fit? I replaced just my alphanumeric because of this (and wanting the symmetry)
Nope. The pegs on the bottom of the shift keys are off by about 2mm, and the space bar was never going to fit. It does make a weird smiley face though so I can't complain. 🥲
Is it still as thocky?
It absolutely is. Though I suppose thockiness is in the ears of the beholder. I like how it sounds in any case.
