    Mike O' Hearn never ceases to amaze me, I first saw him in the mid 90's in the Muscle & Fitness Magazines when I was a teenager and had just developed an interest in bodybuilding etc....I mean this guy had it all, the looks, the body, the strength and everything, he was like the ultimate man and I wondered how it was possible, and now 25 years later he still amazes me, as a kid I had decided that's exactly what I wanted to inspire to be....he is truly a rare breed and none like him out there...truly blessed by God

    I too started training when I was 9 yrs. old. Have loved it ever since. Always have been consistent.. 38 years. I’m not sure if it’s the age that we started.. or? But like you.. I have the same overall mindset.. and a warriors heart 💪🏻❤️
    Someday, hope to meet you. Even when you talk about martial arts etc. same here lol. Just funny to me 🤷🏼‍♂️ very cool.
    It’s amazing what all that training can do for one.. not only in the gym and physically.. but as you know.. mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Becoming the master of oneself. Which affects all areas of our lives. One of the very greatest choices that I’ve ever made for myself. Anyways, just wanted to say.. thanks for being you Mike 💪🏻 Appreciate you.

    Clearly everyone else in the comments are better trainers and know more than Mike. They must clearly have a longer track history of experience, trophies, and education more than Mike.
    I'm sure all of them look like Greek gods, more than Mike does. Because that's why they want to leave judgmental comments, right?

    Clark still looking great at 56, he is a legend, and a great guy.
    For those of you who don’t know, Clark was one of the top fitness models in the 1990’a and 2000’s, and had (still has) an insane physique.
    So many people use their age as an excuse for looking like shit. It is a weak excuse, and victim mentality.
    Clark and Mike are two of the best examples of how to keep looking great as you age, if you just stay consistent and disciplined.

    Did the arm work out today and got a great pump and felt strong even at the end of the workout. Didnt take 2-3 mins. rest just waited until i got breathing under control. Could have pushed it a bit more at the end but, drank to much water and felt like i was boarder line on throwing up.

      That is what I HATE about Tom Cruise he is in all these action movies as a "badass" yet he looks like he sure be a waiter somewhere based off his physique. I would find it more believeable it he was cut being a badass a la Jason Stathome.

    Pin press I a better alternative to a close grip press.
    On the bottom of the close grip press , you are involving mostly chest and shoulder muscles. Triceps work on the top half of movement, only.

    The best way would be to start in the middle of the press (set the pins on the power rack) and perform a lock out movement. Great pimp too. !!

    Nowadays there`s a war out there on whether who is right and who's wrong. What people should learn is that everyone is different. what may work for you may not work for me and vice versa. Like he said, you have to focus more and really put your mind into your muscle. I used to be one of those people who wouoolld cmment on peooplles form, until I went to another level. So, well, one day people will reallize this.

      It doesn’t matter when you are at a certain level of bodybuilding. If you look at his biceps, they are awesome. Also look at Denis Tsyplenkov and Devon Larratt and they do cheating biceps curls

      Yea like when i do curls i go light to moderate weight and do nice steady curls and i keep my back straight like if i do go heavy i will lean back a bit but that's it i jever through my back never cause i dont want to injure myself cause bodybuilding is my passion and want to keep going

    I don't want to be that guy but legit question is form important on this program or is it more doing heavy weight to get blood pumping to the arms for size. I know power lifters often cheat a little to get the weight up and aren't sticklers on proper form.

      Gene Yumang watch ANY pro and that’s what you’ll see. Obviously he’s using momentum and his back but he’s still getting the eccentric. Also mike points out that that that sometimes he’s strict on form and sometimes he cheats.

    I always like when 40+ year old men are better in shape than youngsters with their fancy gym attire, 5 different supps, a science based plan and still look like they never touched a weight or sticked to any form of controlled nutrition for longer than 3 days

      Hes telling it how it is dude. If you listen to his plan there is no way youll fail. Its not rocket science its a simple formula. Nutrition + Good Exercises = Results. It will work eventually. maybe not 30 days but its a start. Thats all theyre trying to make you try.
