Black September was a civil war. Jordan gave citizenship to all Palestinians and annexed the west bank. The west bank is either Jordanian or Israeli, and since Jordan rescinded their claim, it is solely Israeli territory.

I'm an Iranian, Monarchist, I think Judea and Samaria belongs to Israel, King Cyrus the Great helped the Jews and believed those lands belongs to jews, he even helped in financing the rebuilding of temple if I'm not wrong, he said I can give the money but I bring egyptians architects to help jews to rebuild it. Anyway there is an ancient bond between Iranians (Persians) and Jews, may Israelites live in peace in their eternal holy land.

Sometimes I watch Dominic Lieven on RUclips, who writes about empires, and, for better or worse, empires were mostly broken up in the 20th century, partly because of nationalism. One could argue that perhaps the Ottoman Empire (until 1914, or the Persian Empire) were better at accommodating diverse populations and religions than the situation we have today. However, in these empires everyone was a subject, not a citizen, and that would be difficult for people to accept today.

And now you are okay with the Israelis fake citizenry of Europeans attacking the very nation that saved them time and time again. or are these just European imposters, who are part of the European union as they are European, but also claim to be from the Middle East through their adopted religion through conversion, who claim membership in the African Union, beats me on what grounds, and wants to claim the Americas and the world since some Jews lived in those pats of the world. With this logic, the whole world belongs to them. Strange that a Iranian, favors the claim of the Israeli enemy, bent on the destruction of Iran, his own ancestral homeland. You seem to either be a traitor or an imposter, or a Zionist bot.

I don't understand, why 1967? On May 15, 1948, one day after the establishment of the State of Israel, the surrounding countries attacked Israel. In this war, Trans-Jordan occupied much of the area west of the Jordan, including Jerusalem. This annexation was illegal. The Six-Day War followed in 1967, again between Israel and its surrounding neighbors.
Israel regained control of the 1948 territories, including Jerusalem and Sinai. After giving Sinai to Egypt in 1979, Israel now controls almost exactly the territory that was allocated to the Jewish people in the Mandate for Palestine, as far as the part west of the Jordan. The West Bank and Jerusalem are also included. This territory has never been assigned by law to any other nation other than Israel. According to the Mandate, Jews are allowed and even encouraged to live in any part of Palestine.

It was called Syria-Palestina under the Otoman Empire. It included today's Syria, Lebanon, Jordan and Israel. After WWI the British and French divided the land. The Balfur decleration of 1917 promised the Israel (and arguably Jordan) part for building a home for the Jewish people.
Since 1917 til 1948, the British (in their Mandate) tried to avoid that decision and stopped Jews from entering the land (the White Book for example) and encouraged Arabs to come. More than 50% of the Arabs in Israel in 1948 came after 1917.
Those are all facts that you can check.

Not real democracy but who cared at that point. But after they won the election it was the coup against the election results that kept Fatah in power in the West Bank. The coup was unsuccessful int Gaza where H...s replied with extreme brutality.

Since you-know-who has ruled 17 out of the last 28 years to be more specific. Well, he seems like he knows how to hold on power and that happens by severely mistreating whoever is less mighty. So much for humans being different from animals. October 7th happened entirely directly due to his policies. Avoiding any and all solutions and furthermore expanding and pressuring the neighbours.

    @jankaufmann4305 Месяц назад +30

The discussion in this war is absurd. First.
Israel acted selflessly to live in peace with the Palestinians in Gaza. It was more than a decade ago when Israel itself relocated thousands of individuals living in Gaza with lethal force from their homes to follow the agreement, which obligated the Palestinians in return to stop any kind of aggression towards Israel. The Palestinians had the chance to build a safe, functional, and prosperous livelihood. But the first thing the Palestinians did in return was to elect a government that enshrined the goal of destroying Israel in their constitution. The elected government followed through with its promise. Since its founding, thousands of rockets have flown into Israel. Dozens of civilians died in terrorist attacks. Millions of aid funds - intended for civilian purpose - were misused to build rockets, tunnels, and other nonsense. The crimes committed on October 7th like raping women, killing children, or kidnapping a baby, was Humus has been doing for years. Secondly. Israel behaved more humanely in this conflict than any other conceivable party in any imaginable conflict. It allowed Palestinians to work in Israel, receive medical care or even migrate into their country. During war, they warn civilians where their military is operating. They admit collateral damage and apologize for it. They saved Sinwar’s life giving him a lethal brain surgery. They treated the daughter of Haniyyas daughter for her complex disease in Israel. While Humus was building rockets and tunnels with all the foreign aid, Israel supplied their civilians with free water and electricity. The situation is clear. In no other conflict the responsibility for the suffering has been so one sided and clear - in no other conflict have the perpetrators been held accountable so weakly. The same goes for any related conflict: Hezbollah, Houthis, etc…the more peacefully you try to live with them, the more visible their genocidal intents becomes.
People with voice and power who claim to reject war have the duty to unequivocally name the culprit of this war and do everything in their power to eliminate them. Everything else is responsibility for the resulting suffering and will extend it.

Gaza and the coast were occupied by the Philistines thousands of years ago. They were taken over and disappeared from history as Philistines, but many of the people stayed in the surrounding area.
Inland Palestinians were Semitic people from the area going back about 8-10 thousand years, from Philistines, Canaanites, and other local tribes of the times and then including migrant people from the immediate areas of north Egypt, Jordan, southern Lebanon, Syria.
Palestinians have a similar yet separate identity from other Arab countries. Such as the countries of Europe are similar but have their own history and cultures.
The Jews came onto the picture as a story of Abraham from Babylonia. They likely converted some local tribes to Judaism as Islam didn't come into existence until after Christianity of the 1st century.
Most of the Jewish left a couple thousand years ago, but those that stayed were treated well and lived without conflict and free to practice their religion. Palestine was a thriving, busy, farming, fishing and trade hub for 400 years under the Ottomans until WW1. Goods from all over the region were transported through the port, spices, goods, grains etc from Africa and Asia were brought to the area for trade and transport. Palestine itself was particularly known for olive products, wool, fine soaps, pottery, glass, and produce.
It was the hundreds of thousands of European refugees that immigrated into Palestine and with an army, forced 700,000 native Palestinians off their heritage farms, lands, villages around Jerusalem, the north, west bank etc.
The Israeli army was violent killing people and executing children and elders and burning homes. Nearly a million displaced people. This is called the "Nakba"
Some left to Jordan or Egypt but many went to Gaza.

It true when the jews settled in the land the land was desolate and with lot of swamps. The jews dried the swamps and fight desess like malria, after that many Arabs from Arabs countries came to palestina to find jobs. look at potos from the beginning of the 19th century and see how desolate and empty was the land. And read what people like Mark Twin wrote about the land. The Arabs don't accept the right of Israel to exist in any borders and any size because they claim to return of refugees into Israel border of 1948. That israel can not accept. What about 850000 jews refugees from Arabs countries that came to Israel after they suffered from pogroms and Humiliation in the Arabs countries. And the jews really lived in the Arabs countries for generations not like most of the Arabs that arrived to palestina in the 19th century.

You're presentation is great. I usually agree with all your podcasts and find them accurate and interesting.
I just need to correct a few points.
I think you've colored the facts with a western outlook.
    And some are misinformed entirely.
Saying it's occupied is an Arab/Russian invention.
There was absolutely no need to give anything back accordingto international laws. The only thing the arabs want is a Jewish free Israel under their rule.
And Arafat ימ"ש is recorded saying we can lie to Israel and to the West to achieve our goals. He actually rejected agreements that gave them loads of territory and autonomy. The biggest obstruction to piece are the Arabs because they don't want piece they want to rule the whole world.
They are religious fanatics, racist, and believe only in sharia law. You can't handle them with talking and giving away, in the Arab world they consider you a joke.
    They only understand strength.
At the end of our prayers 3 times a day one of the last things we say is what the children in Shushan told Haman:
עוצו עיצה ותופר דברו דבר ולא יקום כי עמנו ק-ל
"They can plan plans and talk talks but nothing will be fullfilled because G-D is with us."
I believe this goes for the Israeli government as well.
G-D has saved us from our own stupidity.
The only reason Israel still exists is miraculous, and because G-D promised it and he wills it.
And for the Arabs that is one of the biggest threats. That they see G-D is not on their side.

1:31 I just want to make a note here. The term Palestinian for non Israelis would not have been used in 1967. Until the 70s they were just called Arabs. It wasn’t until the PLO was founded that they adopted the Palestinian identity.
Edit: I do not mean that nobody identified themselves and called themselves Palestinian until the 70s. Everybody (including Jews) called themselves Palestinian for years and years. But, what started in the 70s was the strict Arab Palestinian identity of today.
Edit 2: This really shouldn’t be that controversial. The modern Palestinian identity that refers strictly Arabs who are non Israeli started with the formation of the PLO in the 1970s. Before that Palestinian was a term for all people who lived in the region of Palestine. PM Golda Mier even talked about this development and how it didn’t make sense, as she should be considered Palestinian cause she lives in that region. The term Palestinian switches meaning. You can look it up.

From my childhood, I remember constantly being reminded of our identity and being shown the door, being told that we were not welcome there. I was born there, but that doesn’t mean I-or we as Jewish people-have the right to claim Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, or any other European or Middle Eastern territories as our own, even though Jews lived there for hundreds of years. @ryanmoore2447 there is no such thing as ‘Palestinian’ land. ‘Palestina’ is the old greco-roman renaming of JUDEA AND SAMARIA, cradle of JEWISH civilisation, by Roman invaders. After the fall of Ottoman Turk occupation, the land was under British Mandate that partitioned the territory into Israel and Jordan (1946).

    • @jennyyates8798
      @jennyyates8798 Месяц назад

Almost right. 'Syria Palestina' was the name given to the whole of Israel by the Romans, after they quashed the Bar Kochva revolt in A.D. 135. 'Palestina' is Latin for 'land of the Philistines', and the Romans chose that name as a deliberate insult to the Jews, because the Philistines had been Israel's ancient enemies. (By Roman times, they had long since ceased to exist as an identifiable ethnic group.) However, there has never, at any time in history, been an independent sovereign state called Palestine, it was only ever a part of Greater Syria. Arabs living in Israel simply called themselves 'Arabs' until the mid 1960's.
The British were given the Mandate for Palestine in 1920, following WW1 and the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. At that time, Palestine included what is now the Kingdom of Jordan, and all of it was designated as a homeland for Jews. Then we gave 78% of it (early 1920's not 1946), the area to the east of the River Jordan, to a minor Saudi prince, because we wanted oil, leaving only the area to the west of the river for a Jewish homeland. The eastern area was designated as a homeland for Palestinian Arabs! In 1922, all 51 members of the League of Nations approved this arrangement. After WW2, the U.N. took over all the rulings of its predecessor, so they still stand. Therefore, all the area 'from the river to the sea' belongs to Israel. Q.E.D.!

The 1987 Intifada was planned also. Between 1967 and 1986 the Arabs in the West Bank DID have autonomy - the civil service that performed under Jordanian rule continued under Israeli rule - until Arafat ordered the workers to quit their jobs. At that point Israel had to choose between leaving the Arabs without vital services or taking active control of the area. Israel made the compassionate decision to take control and Arafat used this as his excuse to order the Intifada. And of course it spread also to Gaza.

If only the Israel or Palestinian Government or authority at the first place should have said that, they are the administrative or governing authority of the territory, but whoever has been here ever since whether Arabs, Palestinians or Jews, you still have the personal right of ownership to any peace of land you own.
By then, the people will be happy to be a part of a state that recognises their existence at the personal level without regards to their ethnicity, religion or whatever.
There would not be any problems like today they are facing.

Very wrong: Territories that Israel obtained in the Six-day 1967 War were not "conquered" territories as you erroneously say. They were "re-possessed" territories taken back by Israel from the 1948 Arab invaders- Egypt (Gaza), Jordan (West Bank); and Syria (Golan), who illegally and forcefully invaded and seized the territories from the new State of Israel and held them illegally for 19 years until 1967. These territories were allocated to the Jewish people worldwide in the San Remo Resolution of 4-24-1920 by the lawful sovereigns at the time, the Supreme Allied Powers post WW 1 (UK, France, Italy, Japan and the US as observer), and codified unanimously by the League of Nations (54 nations), in the League of Nations Mandate for Palestine-Israel. Your mis-statements are an affront to international law and the Rules-based order that most of the world ascribes to. Indeed, in 1948 the US, the USSR and many other nations "recognized" the new State of Israel, and the UN accepted Israel as a member state. Israel avoided applying its legal sovereignty to Gaza for the sake of a potential peace treaty with the Arab population. But alas the Arabs were not and are not interested in peace. They are interested in full domination by force, and reject international law.
Now that Israel has re-possessed Gaza for the second time, after the failed Gaza withdrawal of 2005 and the illegal HAMAS takeover and unprovoked attack of 10-7-2023, Israel has no choice but to evacuate the hostile elements of the Gaza population for their safety and the safety of the Israeli survivors of the HAMAS 10-7-23 attack, who do not want and cannot live within walking distance of such a vile, dangerous population. The gross Arab lie of Jewish land theft that you seem to promote, (intentionally or unintentionally), will not bring justice to the Gazans or the Israelis, and the indigenous Jewish People will fight and secure its ancestral, historic, religious, and legal rights in all the Palestine/Israel-Mandate lands, including Gaza. Arabs are welcome to exercise their claims to sovereignty in the nearby Palestinian Arab majority state of Jordan that is currently ruled by a non-Palestinian, King Abdullah, who refuses to accommodate Palestinian Arab aspirations of sovereignty in Jordan, or they can exercise their aspirations of sovereignty in their ancestral land of Arabia. And leave the Jews alone in their ancestral land of Judea-Israel.

‘No one can come to me unless he is drawn by the Father who sent me,
and I will raise him up at the last day.I am the bread of life3

and learn from it, is to come to me.
Not that anybody has seen the Father,

    1. The Palestinian flag was invented in the 1960s when Palestinian identity was created.
    2. "Palestinians with Israeli citizenship" are Israeli Arabs, descendants of Arabs who didn't leave in 1948. There are 2 million and are 20% of Israeli population, they are Israelis exactly like Jews and have full rights. A majority support Israel.
    3. West Bank belonged to Jordan before 1967 and people living there were Jordanians, Gaza belonged to Egypt before 1967 and people there were Egyptians.
    4. Arabs were not ethnically cleansed in 1948, the opposite, they fled and are the ones who tried to ethnically cleanse the Jews before 1948. In 1948 all Arab countries attacked the new Israeli state after refusing the 1947 UN partition plan.
    5. The UN and Arab countries created refugee status that passes through generations, as political tool against Israel. They also created "right of return", there is no such thing anywhere else in the world.
    6. So the "Nakba" (catastrophe) is about the fact that they lost the war that they started and left their homes (most of them voluntarily) because of war that they themselves started.
    7. And as we all know very well, there is no genocide in Gaza, there is a war, that again they themselves started.

One thing I would say is that these wars over religious prejudices always happen to be out of misinterpretation or ignorance to some of the most important points in both the Shariah and the Jewish Teachings about coexistence with the others, like we have the idea in the Islamic teachings insisting to respect others and never despise them even if they have what could contradict to their beliefs (both the Sharia and the Sunnah), an example from Sunan Al-Tirmidhi:
On the authority of Anas ibn Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), he said: “It reached Safiyyah that Hafsah said, ‘[She is] the daughter of a Jew,’ so she cried. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered upon her while she was crying and said, ‘What makes you cry?’ She said, ‘Hafsah said to me, ‘I am the daughter of a Jew.’ The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, ‘You are the daughter of a prophet, your uncle is a prophet, and you are married to a prophet. What does she boast about to you?’ Then he said, ‘Fear Allah, O Hafsah.’”
Here, Safiyyah is a Jewish wife of the Prophet Muhammad, and recieved abuse and criticism from the Muslim wives antisemitically, therefore, she went to complain about that to the prophet, and instead of defending his other Muslim wives, he had encouraged Safiyyah to be proud of her Jewish lineage, proving that avoiding the Jews should be in a general sense, in other words, avoiding commitment to Judaism much like any other non-Islamic religion Islamic studies had told to avoid, but nor the Quran nor the Hadiths had obliged the Muslims to be "aggressive" or "antisemitic" at the Jews "just because they are Jewish"...
And the similar idea comes to Judaism in the concept of "Goyim", much like the Quran, the Goyim are considered against God, and the same goes with the Kuffar and the Mushrikīn "Pagans" in the Quran, but despite this, neither both religions had insisted to fight the people who follow a religion that contradicts with the other for no just reason, according to Leviticus 19:34, and Surah Al-Hujurat 49 : 13, both talks about how we should coexist with each other!
And now with the situation of Palestine and Israel, it is more of a topic that relies on Justice than Religion and Theology, both have a history, both have an identity in this land, as all the Arabs (whether they are Palestinians or not), and the Israelites are all belonging to Shem (or Sām in Arabic), giving us all the identity of semitism, therefore fighting against each other does not make anything better, and would lead to possible regrets in the future...
I wish both sides know that even tho they have their own traumas, it is immoral to eliminate the neighbors for their culture or religious identity, and now, I'd say, that from the river to the sea, there will be peace and empathy!
Salam and Shalom from an Arab Jew!
    ❤️🖤🤍💚🤍💙🤍💙🤍

The answer is that the Palestinians don't leave Israelis alone. The age-old Palestinian hobby is constantly starting wars with a vastly superior military power ie Israel, getting smashed, then crying.
So maybe the great big thing they could try, is stop attacking Israel.
Israel is in Gaza right now because Hamas attacked Israel on Oct 7, kidnapped hundreds of hostages.
Logically, the only things Hamas needs to do is surrender unconditionally and release all hostages. They could have done it at any time in the last 10 months.
The only reason you would blame Israel for the war is if you're stupid or you're a Hamas supporter.

Thus report didn't give history justice. It is one sided claiming that the occupier is a victim.
