My Mama made what she called beef stew. It was cubed boiled potatoes and scrambled ground beef fried too!! We had it first cold days of fall. Memories❤

I'm behind on FlossTube watching, but I caught this one and will try to go back and catch up with the 2 or 3 episodes I missed. Always love seeing what you all are up to. My retreat got cancelled due to the flooding from Hurricane Helene in Western NC. I'll just stitch as much as I can although I'm now planning to go to work those days. I'll save those days for another time. 3, 5

Oh, my, ladies, you upstaged your stitching talking about southern food. I had to put on a bib to keep the drool off of my stitching. Sounds like you had a blast at your retreat. I'm going to my first retreat next April at Hobby House. You want to talk about tasty mashed potatoes. I went to an Amish wedding years ago and
the mashed potatoes were out of this world! They added cream cheese, Carnation milk, and served them with browned butter. Unbelievable!

Great video! Beautiful finishes, I love your frame choice. Sharing about collard greens brought up sweet memories of my Mom & her collard greens, I don't think she put sugar in hers. And then that brings up memories of corn bread, fried chicken, fried potatoes & fried okra from the garden! It's turning cool here in NE TN tomorrow so I picked up veggies to make soup tomorrow.
It’s been 75 lbs and 47 yrs since I went skinny dipping. Now I think I would clear out the pond/ lake/ pool!

I don't like to fry potatoes either. So I shortcut to process by boiling my whole potatoes for a meal with several extra the I cut them up and keep in the refrigerator until I am ready to eat them. Then I saute onion slices in. Butter then add the sliced potatoes to simply brown and like magic youha e fried potatoes.❤

Another great video, ladies! I finished two of the "Hallows' Manor" pillows last night (I did not stitch the pattern with the house yet) and the velveteen backing made me say ALLLL the cursey words and invent 2 new ones but I got it done :D
