Heya everyone!
Here's something I was talking about a few months ago, something that might be a test for a future album - or maybe it'll be the only metal cover, I'm not sure yet.
I know I said that I'd be the one covering this song but, honestly... my vocals for this track wasn't great at all. Which is why I decided to work with the amazing vocalist, Marko Duplisak!
HOWEVER, I did some background vocals even though it's barely noticeable! I don't know if I'll be the lead singer in a future song - cover or original - though... maybe in a More Cider 2? NO ONE KNOWS! :D
Also, this metal cover wouldn't have been possible without the help of Gabriel Borza, who did an outstanding job with the drums and the guitars! :D
Regarding projects, well... some of you knows that I'm now also working on a 10-track album for a trailer music publisher. I'll be slower for personal project but, in contrary to what I said earlier, I'll not put everything on hold as I was given a way bigger deadline (to be able to focus on IE at the same time!)
And speaking of IE, I asked that question on Twitter and I'll ask it here as well (feel free to answer in the comments - that is, if you read my descriptions, ofc x)):
What would be your opinion about having a light novel series where the size of a volume would be something like ~400/500 pages, book format 11cm/18cm for one (1) volume?
I don't know exactly how much volumes there would be, though.
In any case, I hope you'll like this metal cover! I mixed/mastered everything myself, hope I didn't messed up (let me know if you reviews this one, Stallion and Soul :D), but it was fun to work on that one nonetheless!

Man, I bet Lauren Faust never expected this when she pitched MLP FIM to Hasbro.
I almost like the guitar and percussion better with this version of the song than the original. Both have their charms, with the original keeping that imperial march that represents Aqasha. This one feels more like a representation of what it is like to be in battle.

Personally, I would 100% buy a novel of this, probably multiple lol. One to read and one to keep as a collection piece.
I really want to know more about the Primordial Alicorns and the origins of Aqasha and Nerath and I really hope I can buy them. How would the delivery be? (If you know yet. My country is a bit far and I hope that's not a problem, that's why I'm asking :P )

So it all depends what country you live in and how much is the shipping free from bpost, but also how much the book weights - so unfortunately I can't really say anything now as I don't know anything yet ^^"

Originally as I was binge-listening to all the songs in the first album, this song took me by COMPLETE surprise. I didn’t look much into it and thought it was just another VIP, but my eyes grew wide as soon as I heard that guitar. I was not at all expecting for this song to go that hard on the instrumentals. And the lyrics, holy crap, the lyrics are GODLY. I don’t know what it is with brony songs recently, and I’m not much of one myself, but MY GOD they have exceeded all my expectations. Are you thinking of making metal covers for Nerath and the High Priestesses?
Not sure regarding the High-Priestesses as the languages used in both themes are a created fantasy language. And regarding Nerath, it'd indeed be cool but I don't know if "metal" would be a fitting genre for Nerath, so I don't know yet for sure!

This was amazing! Though I honestly would like to see how this song would play out with a male and female vocalist, I don't know I feel like it needs a female voice that has that deep wrath of metal. Maybe a female voice like Izzy hail's from halestorm or Amy Lee from Evanescence??
For this one I mainly thought of have only male vocals as it was how I imagined it but, indeed, that could've been also interesting that way too!
