My rent is only about $50 a month more than what I was paying in BGC. I won't ever have to worry about finding a hotel or Air BnB that I'm not sure whether it's good or not. I can keep things in both places so I won't need much in my carry on. Bangkok gives me a great city life and Da Nang gives me a great beach life. And I can travel all around southeast Asia too. Come out and visit Gio. Open invitation.

The North Kona/South Kohala Coasts on the Big Island are paradise, I do love Guam too. For expats that need to keep ties with the USA, Guam has a lot to offer. The PNB bank in Guam is actually part of the US banking system with the safety precautions. If you live in the Philippines, you can bank with PNB in Guam. It's a short 4 hour flight and they have Costco. Gio, i warned you not to legally marry, perhaps you took my advice. @@puppyupper4565 I agree with you. I’m with a Filipina who is 1/2 Chinese and 1/2 native Filipino from Kibawe Mindanao, her mom is related to the Pacquiao family. She has beautiful distinctive features, but most importantly a pure heart of gold,💛 and just a delight to be with. She comes from a solid family and a very good past, with no baggage left that needed to be unpacked. She is a simple province girl who went over seas to the Middle East and was a care giver there, and for a couple years had a small store in Manila selling household goods. At 38 years old, & a single mom, she has obtained great life experiences, speaks good English, and we have a quality lifestyle that’s hard to beat, here in the Philippines. 🇵🇭
I've been a snowbird in SE Asia for almost 10 years. I currently live in Thailand but I'm originally from the US NE Virginia DC area and did the big house thing for over 30 years before deciding to leave the US for a simpler lifestyle. I sold my house and purchased an inexpensive condo on the coast of NC so I would always have a base to return to in the US. I also own a condo here in Koi Samui Thailand that use as my base here in SE Asia and do my remote job duties. I live in the US from June-September and Koi Samui from September to May. The location is very convenient to Phuket and the international airport for long weekend trips anywhere in SE Asia. In the early years here in Thailand I traveled all over SE Asia from my Koi Samui base and it was great to be able to go anywhere in SE Asia in less than 8-hours on inexpensive flights. I used to travel throughout SE Asia the 3 out the 4 months I was based here in Koi Samui. However, as I get older, I am content with just hanging out here in Koi Samui and Phuket, after traveling all over SE Asia, I haven't found any place in SE Asia more peaceful while still offer plenty to do as I retire. I will eventually just rent out my condo in NC full time and live here full time in Thailand.

I left the Philippines after a couple long years, and went to Vietnam and Cambodia and absolutely all the things that annoyed me with the Philippines had completely instantly vanished. These other countries are light years ahead of the Philippines. Better food, better housing, better nightlife, better infrastructure, better dating. I didn’t realize how dysfunctional the Philippines was until I left. I was blind. Not only am I happier and healthier now, but it’s actually cheaper to live in these places because Philippines housing costs is ridiculously expensive for what you get and in compassion even to places such as Thailand. To me, the Philippines isn’t worth it. It’s a huge headache. I’m so happy living in Cambodia. My house is twice as nice for the same price I paid In the Philippines. Looking back in it, I was living in a dump. Now I have all the comforts, and the most delicious food and women. I’ll never even visit the Philippines again. Cheers and good luck.
@@daysoff4everplenty of money, but why spend $650 on rent in the Philippines when the same exact thing is in another country for $250, not to mention all the delicious healthy street food, and vibrant nightlife, you realize the Philippines is a headache. Not worth it, not even close. Cheers
I love my life! I'm a retired bachelor, with a home base condo in Honolulu, Hawaii (paid in full) and travel every 3 months to the Philippines. I've been to other SE asian countries, but currently enjoy the Philippines the most, only because they have the friendliest people on the planet. While in the Philippines, I just rent a condo and have the freedom to go where ever I please. My problem is that life is too good, and it's difficult to find a permanent Filipina that can add any value to my current lifestyle. Currently going for my SRRVisa classic so I can take some college classes here to keep me green and growing.
I need the change of seasons. When I lived in Florida and worked on a charter fishing boat when I was younger I could never get used to not seeing the weather change all that much. But as I get older I'm definitely not fond of 3-4 months of winter. I think I'd like to spend Christmas in the snow and around the fireplace but then bail for January-March. Summers where I live now on Lake Michigan are beautiful. People pay a lot of money in California to get similar temps. If you live within 2 miles of such a large and cold body of water it really helps keep the hot weather in check. And I love fall. The smells and the crisp air. Halloween and Thanksgiving.
this is the smartest move ever!...this is EXACTLY what I'm doing...and the FUN level is off the charts!..HAVE FUN..don't get locked down and stay OUT OF RELATIONSHIPS...HOTELS are the best!..room service, maid service..pool...all good!..
With reference to the T-shirt, was the breakup a catastrophe ? It seems that you're relatively unscathed, but of course I'm not living your life, thus my observations may be wrong. I will continue to watch your channel, always informative and entertaining. Thank you for enduring. Cambodia is my intended destination, so perhaps we'll meet again there ?
Beautiful scenery in the backdrop. I like how you choose peaceful and relaxing environments for your chats. Helps us see the good things the PH has to offer.
Gio, you have forged a solid foundation for a more successful transition into living part time in different countries with your RUclips career and associated companies that you work with. As I’m sure you remember interviewing me back when I was in a LDR with my Filipina. We have now been together 10 years when I first met her and started living in PHL part time. We have been married 6 years and she still lives in PHL in the addition that we built up as we remodeled her home. I still work in California and still own my house here. I’m not interested in selling it but will build an ADU and take Air B&B or short term renters since it’s in a nice neighborhood that sees tourists. Plus this will serve as additional retirement income when I decide to retire in PHL. Our plans are to travel like you said and my wife will be getting a travel visa to come to USA a meet my mom,dad and grown kids. I’m also thinking of buying an RV and exploring USA with my wife.
@ sorry about all the drama you are having bro. I guess that comes with RUclips fame. You mentioned Malaysia before and I really liked it there and for city life with security I like Singapore.
Trouble waters time. ! You got a real kick in your stomack. Take your time, digest. You'll face it, question of time. Visit friends, real friends and learn how to enjoy your life again. Don't stay alone for the moments. All the best to you, old chap.
@@JerryBellasFinalChapter Really have to ask? I don`t get why so many men are so desperate to meet women. Are you not comfortable being alone and free, able to do what you want, not having to support others?
I hear you loud and clear I was thinking the same thing the other day just trying to figure out how to do it strategically so you can make a fairly inexpensive home base but secure enough to keep everything
@@GiointhePhilippines I work for yt Gio So I can help you boost your channel with subs and views ect I just need a week notice to throw your channel into the sharks haha big dogs on yt to help it grow bigger Like I did with a few other yt channels that are pretty big now in the PI like Finn Snow ect.
I think having a home base in the Philippines and then being able to travel to other nearby countries for a few months at a time would be a perfect way to live.
I was planning on using the Philippines as a home base and traveling around Southeast Asia. I hurt my leg and it has delayed my plans but I'm looking at trying to pull it off this coming summer. The Philippines works as a homebase because of the excellent visa situation there. It seems most of the other countries make you jump through a lot more hoops to stay longer than 90 days. Bacolod seems nice but Iloilo does have an airport that make trips to Singapore and Hong Kong and from HK you can fly anywhere in the world and usually get a good price. I I do want to check out Malaysia as I've never been there.
Vietnam 80 out of 90 days Philippines 28 days , Thailand 45 days then back to Vietnam and back to the usa snow bird 🕊️ best way. Stay in hotels in Vietnam 💯👍
My dream plan is to have a home base here in the USA and then visiting other countries throughout the year for a month at a time. I don't have a partner, so it's an easy plan for me. But spending a month in 6-8 other countries each year is amazing to me.
It has gotten SO expensive back in the states. We retired and came back to the Philippines a year and a half ago. It's the difference of being able to comfortably live here in PH, versus having to continue working, even with a decent pension. We still kept our house in the states, and it is being maintained by my stepson who isn't ready to come back to PH yet.
Having a home base and doing some traveling for several months out of the year is something I had mentioned years ago and now you had mentioned it. Sounds like a great plan for you Gio and wish you all the best. How about, "Gio's Asian Travels"?
Great idea to spread out into greater SE Asia. Phils vlogging has been a bit played out with similar videos being done over and over by ever more Phils-based vloggers. I'm sure it would expand your channel as well since expats and Filipinos would probably like to see more of the SEA region and how it compares to Phils.
The way ive been doing it is 1 year lease and 2-4 times a year go somewhere for 1 month. Budget of 3k allows this comfortably. The rest of my income is put aside for hospital bills and buying large items
For me, the city I would choose in the Philippines, I would have to be close to a hospital..I have glaucoma in both eyes and need to see an eye doctor on a WEEKLY basis..yes that often…I am looking at a condo in Cebu that is only 6 min from a famous eye hospital
I’m living in Luzon. Since I enjoy surfing 🏄♂️ I like it here from October to early March. Then I want to be surfing in Indonesia from April till August. Then 2 months in Washington state to take advantage of the best summers anywhere in the world 🌎. Then back to the Philippines 🇵🇭…
This is what I plan on doing. PH's home base and traveling to all the other SEA countries and possibly Eastern Europe in the summertime, which is SEA rainy season.
Why not get one of those $100 a month apartments and then just pay for it outright for the year? And yes you have to furnish it but once you're done doing that then that's it. Then you have an apartment that's furnished and paid for. That's still cheaper than what you would pay here for one month and if you want to live somewhere else then you can do that. But you still have the security of knowing you have a place to go....also, no man purse. No sir lol
Great idea Gio your living my future dream of traveling through Asia ,maybe do some condo tours in the other countries for comparison, I will be tuned in,Be Safe.
Love your videos! Great information for people like myself who are starting to explore the Philippines. I do have a suggestion for a new name: Gio traveling the pacific rim. Gio exploring the pacific rim. Have fun, keep vigilant in all you do!😊 looking forward to your next video.
Totally agree. For the past 3 years I spend 5 months in Scotland in the summer in my bungalow that i own and the rest of the year going round SE Asia predominantly using Airbnb. My Philino girlfriend travels with me. Thailand, Philippines and Malaysia until April.
Gio, I already planned to make the Philippines my home base and travel The rest of Asia when I retire 1-year-and counting down. I also have a place in Panama and Cyprus
Oh yeah ! Gio thats my plan. Saving stuff here and moving to Mactan island Cebu. Centralized PH and ferry from island to island with my scooter. Adventure in my retirement!
I own a really nice condo in Fort Lauderdale, FL. but I’m very bored there. I also rent a small condo in BGC, where life is much more exciting. My split is about 8 months in BGC, 4 months in Florida. So I must prefer the less luxurious, more exciting life.
You could try something like "Gio in the Philippines and Beyond" or "Gio Beyond the Philippines". I know that Reekay already uses the word Beyond but I don't think that should matter. You may want to hold off on changing the channel name for a while until you have already conducted a few trips and get a better feeling of how often you would travel. You may not want to change the name if you end up still in the Philippines most of the year. When you go to other countries make sure to put that country and or city name in the title of each video so that viewers can find your video in their searches (may be more important than changing the name of the channel, but you gotta do what you think is best, and you understand this platform better than I do.) I spend about 3 months each year in Thailand and could spend more time there. But I enjoy the US so much from May to October (bicycling, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and most importantly with old friends) that right now I think I have to continue using US as my year-round home base (which, as you know, can cost a lot in monthly lodging.) So that leaves my with a similar decision as you...When in Thailand I could spend the extra money and rent a condo year round, or just use hotels or Airbnb 's.
Yes i will.plan on 2 bases one in mountains of pennsylvania and winter in cebu or bohol . I need to keep my medicare and go to usa for check ups etc... Good luck for your next adventure. Yes condo is best.
In Canada you must live in Canada 6 months and a day or lose 20% of your retirement government pension [called social security in US] if you live in another country that doesn't have a social security agreement with Canada [all of S/E Asia] so it just makes sense to keep your place especially if you are renting [I pay $1100 a month for a 1 bedroom and my neighbour across the hall moved out 18 months ago and they raised the rent from $1050 a month to $2300] and visit the world the other 6 months of the year. If I moved over seas and things didn't work out and I decided to move back to Canada permanently I would have to find a 1 bedroom apartment at a cost of about $2500 a month. So I would have left my rental paying $13,000. a year and would return home to paying $30,000 a year for exactly the same rental. Welcome Back!
We live Both in the United states and the Philippines. We live 6 months and 1 day in the states and 5 months and 29 days in the Philippines to allow us to keep our residents in the states.
Maintain residence? I guess you are not US Citizens? You can roam all over the world and maintain residence in USA, just use a relative or friends mail box for your mail.
Once I will retire, I probably will rent in a Condo in the Philippines (more security), and will travel constantly (as long as I'm healthy) to Thailand, Vietnam and other SE Asian countries all along the year, visiting Japan, China and South Korea too. If I have the financial capacity, would like to stay also a few months a year in Mexico (Cancun and Merida).
If you can afford it a home base is excellent. The question is where to make your home base. To be honest a home base in Thailand and just travel to Philippines and Vietnam or other countries is probably more attractive. Infrastructure, food, medical and other things are much better in Thailand. If there are visa changes in Vietnam I would base myself there within a few weeks of the changes and travel around SEA. I suspect the longer you spend in other SEA countries the less attractive Philippines will become.
The smell of Tomatoes in the garden is so nice. I am in Sacramento, CA & I work every day. get up with the sun, ready, set... go. I like to be home by sunset, sometimes later... I wonder, how you afford what you are doing? At 63, I do not want to be working too much longer.
I have a condo year round in the Philippines. For me, to get that cool air fall or spring feel, I go to Chiang Mai November - February. Absolutely the best hands down. Just my opinion. Other people like beaches. Up to you. I like hiking the waterfalls and mountain areas here. But I also travel the Philippines every other month or so. Have fun.
Goo’s worldly adventures I used to house sit for people. Depending on length of time, situations, pay expenses, plus some or all rents. That way you keep your place and have control over things. You should do a contract, deposit, CYA, much as possible.
I think you’re on to something… being a part time PH resident appeals to me. I don’t like the idea of paying for an empty bed, but my home base in the US is very affordable. I would be interested in more content outside PH and other parts of S Asia. Best wishes with your next chapter.
Gio your channel will have stronger appeal if you expand to include other countries. This will be a gift in the end. Easy to find another women, they make new ones daily…after a healthy break , find one that brings something $$ to the party. Do your shopping at the Professionals Women store. My brother gave me the best advice ever..”First question you ask them is do you have a JOB?? if yes you continue. Step up your game, the next one needs to be a true CO-PILOT..no more passengers . Putting USA back in the 12-18 month mix is perfect for your head space..Kids and Doctors visits will keep you alive much longer too. Aloha and Onward
Agree! I am spending spring and fall in Montana, and winter in Philippines. I have the same question about how to have a semi permanent place with out being there year around, in the Philippines.
In this crazy world you have to guard yourself first and love yourself first and take long time to make a decision to tied up yourself into marriage because there is no turning back once you get married this is for a lifetime that’s why it iş important to marry a person who you loved and loved you back the way you wanted to be
My stateside pad is in Largo, Florida, 7 months, $700 rent. Philippines, Angeles City, I stay here 5 months, $300 rent. I keep both places year round. While in the Philippines, I visit Thailand, Taiwan, Japan and Korea. When in the US, I go to motorcycle rallies, Daytona and Sturgis and visit family.
The world is your oyster, I have a retirement visa for Thailand, which allows me to come and go as I please, but I spend most of my time in The Philippines.
I have older Filipino friends that spend 6 monthes living in their home they own in Seattle and 6 monthes living their medium sized hotel that they own in Boracay. They are dual citizens of the USA and the philippines. As they get older, they will probably move to Manila to be closer to the hospitals.
Traveling back and forth between the philippines and the states can be very taxing on a person. I would say that a trip back home for a visit every few years just to touch base with family and take care of any business that has accumulated like banking or other investments.
I would be very interested in learning what impact the new visa restrictions have on ''Snowbirds''. I am a snowbird, but I like spending around 6 months in the Philippines. Like you, I also want some creature comforts while there and start building a household in the Philippines. I have a Scuba set in the Philippines, I want to send over my electric guitars. Start playing with local bands, because all Filipino bands ask me to play with them. Nobbody asks me in my home country, so that would be fun. But the new Visa rules have made me nervous about persuing my dream.
Yeah Gio,ex military also like many expats around, have done 6 yrs Indo,4 yrs Malaysia, have a house in Oz and a Condo in HH in Thailand…my new home base in Asia to have the big screen Tv and comfy bed,but just a base to jump to other countries, most of which I’ve been to before ,but hay brother us lads crave the Adventure…Single with no Hassles..Chin up…Soldier on mate..Cheers Daz
I think you should get out and live your life, Nothing wrong with staying in the Philippines, but Thailand is far cheaper to live. if you are willing to take the risk and make the move. But I think you should spend some time out of the country. And I am sure this isn't true, just my thoughts, but when you first posted about moving to the US with Maya. I felt things were going wrong and I am so happy you did not make that move back to the US. I think some time with your kids and some time in Thailand, maybe visit Korea and get out there. As for what to do on living. I have been out of the US for 4 years. *0% of the time I spend living in AirBnB. From Eastern Europe to Asia. It allows me to pickup and leave with no worries. I work remote managing a call center so as long as I have good internet I am fine. I have 2 large suitcases and 1 backpack. I spent the same to substantially less a month on AirBnB then on rent in the US. And with the cost difference in Asia and the US I save money traveling Asia and Eastern Europe.
Just don't change the opening to your channel. That babe who does that dip and dance tribal thing is the best opening ever. I hope you travel around a lot more and show that.

@Stefan-f2d This sounds great. Does Samui escape the winter pollution that afflicts Chiang Mai, Bangkok and Pattaya?
Cool man
Nice setup!
@@stevenr1354 yes the westerly winds keep most of the pollution well north of the island.
It’s great to find a spot and be content with just hanging out there.

This is the reality of the Philippines that most vloggers don't talk about. You get more value for your money elsewhere, without the annoyances.
Ahhh, there it is- no money
Good to hear! Where in Cambodia and Vietnam. Is dating comparable to Philippines?
@@daysoff4everplenty of money, but why spend $650 on rent in the Philippines when the same exact thing is in another country for $250, not to mention all the delicious healthy street food, and vibrant nightlife, you realize the Philippines is a headache. Not worth it, not even close. Cheers
@@Mikeycambovideos Sounds interesting, how about the dating? They speak English?
I hope you will find peace, dear Gio. You're not the youngest anymore. Wish you good luck and good health in 2025
Sounds like a great idea mate. Would love to see more of Thailand and Vietnam
Wish you all the best for this new phase of your life
Beautiful scenery in the backdrop. I like how you choose peaceful and relaxing environments for your chats. Helps us see the good things the PH has to offer.
Thanks! I find that a peaceful environment helps me focus.
Thank you buddy
@ sorry about all the drama you are having bro. I guess that comes with RUclips fame. You mentioned Malaysia before and I really liked it there and for city life with security I like Singapore.

I see Jen just posted "every man has a story's" memorial service on his RUclips channel. The priest did a really nice job.
Iloilo is a great place to base yourself for travel. Good choice!
Vietnam 80 out of 90 days Philippines 28 days , Thailand 45 days then back to Vietnam and back to the usa snow bird 🕊️ best way. Stay in hotels in Vietnam 💯👍
Sounds great!
ENGLISH SPEAKING PHILIPPINES IS TOPS!
EVEN THEIR PHILIPPINE CONSTITUTION IS IN ENGLISH!!.. IT IS THE BEST CENTRAL LOCATION IN THE HEART OF ASIA!❤
I like your idea of traveling to other countries and doing videos. Spending more time with your kids is great!!
It's all about balance, right?
I agree with you having a condo as your base. Bec. after a while you gonna miss a "permanent" place after all the travelling like a backpacker.
Gio do what makes you happy. We just watch to see what you are up to.
Thank you
My dream plan is to have a home base here in the USA and then visiting other countries throughout the year for a month at a time. I don't have a partner, so it's an easy plan for me. But spending a month in 6-8 other countries each year is amazing to me.
It’s a great plan to have a home base to return to.
Good luck in all your decisions , keep the great videos coming .
Thank you! I appreciate your support.
I've heard great things about Malaysia. It would cool to see comparisons between Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Cambodia.

Make a video about never making your phillipina RUclips star. Big mistake. I mentioned this a year ago on your channel. Good luck

Never date a RUclips/TikTok chick. Too many simps that'll send em thousands of dollars.
Are 32,000 subscribers a star? I wonder if she can support two, in that part of the world, with those numbers.
@menrising. Yeah it was a big red flag for me that she started a channel as soon as she met him. Huge actually.
GIO in Southeast Asia - Good name , Hope things work out good for you, move on and live life. Best Wishes to you my friend from Oregon, USA
It's true, there's a lot of saturation in the Philippines, and I'm looking forward to showing more of the region.
The way ive been doing it is 1 year lease and 2-4 times a year go somewhere for 1 month. Budget of 3k allows this comfortably. The rest of my income is put aside for hospital bills and buying large items
I'm so torn between "gio's world," "where is gio," and "where in the world is gio."

Sounds like a plan. 👍
Thanks for watching!

One year will go quickly
I have 8 months and counting till retirement in asia:))
Oh yeah !
Gio thats my plan. Saving stuff here and moving to Mactan island Cebu. Centralized PH and ferry from island to island with my scooter. Adventure in my retirement!
Thanks. I’m going to try and find a place that has some decent quality of living. Site see some of the attractions in Cebu.
Moter cycling through the Philippines is kinda neat.
It would be cool to see you explore Vietnam and other SE countries like Thailand and Indonesia, etc. Good luck to whatever you choose to do.
I own a really nice condo in Fort Lauderdale, FL. but I’m very bored there. I also rent a small condo in BGC, where life is much more exciting. My split is about 8 months in BGC, 4 months in Florida. So I must prefer the less luxurious, more exciting life.
I'm happy to hear you've found a way to split your time that works for you.
When you go to other countries make sure to put that country and or city name in the title of each video so that viewers can find your video in their searches (may be more important than changing the name of the channel, but you gotta do what you think is best, and you understand this platform better than I do.)
I spend about 3 months each year in Thailand and could spend more time there.
Sounds like a great plan!

Most places in Thailand come furnished with everything you need.
Thanks for the great suggestions. I'm definitely open to exploring other options!
The great thing about a breakup is afterwards you can do thee ole saying -
"whatever the f*@ck i want"
The smell of Tomatoes in the garden is so nice. I am in Sacramento, CA & I work every day. get up with the sun, ready, set... go. I like to be home by sunset, sometimes later... I wonder, how you afford what you are doing? At 63, I do not want to be working too much longer.
It's not easy for sure!
Have fun.

I like the idea of house sitting!

I think you’re on to something… being a part time PH resident appeals to me. I don’t like the idea of paying for an empty bed, but my home base in the US is very affordable. I would be interested in more content outside PH and other parts of S Asia. Best wishes with your next chapter.
It's a great plan and I'll be sure to expand my content outside the Philippines.
Gio your channel will have stronger appeal if you expand to include other countries. This will be a gift in the end. Agree! I am spending spring and fall in Montana, and winter in Philippines. I have the same question about how to have a semi permanent place with out being there year around, in the Philippines.
Exactly!
That’s a great set up!
The world is your oyster, I have a retirement visa for Thailand, which allows me to come and go as I please, but I spend most of my time in The Philippines.
That sounds like a great plan!
I have older Filipino friends that spend 6 monthes living in their home they own in Seattle and 6 monthes living their medium sized hotel that they own in Boracay. They are dual citizens of the USA and the philippines. As they get older, they will probably move to Manila to be closer to the hospitals.
🇺🇸 👍 actually I think a homebase is a good idea. A place to kickback and relax while you’re planning your next adventure. Good luck in the future.
Exactly!
Traveling back and forth between the philippines and the states can be very taxing on a person. I would say that a trip back home for a visit every few years just to touch base with family and take care of any business that has accumulated like banking or other investments.
I agree. It will be a few years only of doing that
I cant wait to retire in 2026, so I have the option to have options! 😂
Whatever you do Gio, enjoy yourself. Happy Holidays...
I think that's a great plan!
Actually they are only scrutinized when staying over 1 year. So a snowbird wouldn't have those issues.

Gio in SE Asia. But don’t limit yourself to just SE Asia. The Yen is getting weak again so I highly recommend Japan, was there July/August.
My plan is to use the Philippines as my homebase, and just traveling around... Be it in the Philippines, or SE Asia...
Hello Gio, i think it's a good idea to have a home base, that you live most of the year. Few month travel to other countries. Thank you for the video.
You want seasons? You can live in Hanoi and do a week vacation to renue your visa. Condo pretty cheap in Hanoi okay 👍
That's a great idea!
Probably would of been difficult having a relationship in Philippines and cos your spending alot more time back in the States, freedom is good mate. 😅
You’re absolutely right, freedom is important.
I've decided to go back to living in Thailand as a home base as it's the most comfortable but start spending more time in the Philippines etc
Good idea
