My bird 1708 trapped into Lawrence’s loft last year on the 150 and she was first bird home the next race. I still have her on my old bird and she’s very consistent and good job taking second on a really tough day! Super good job.
Good job Silvio! Your birds did very well for a tough race like this. The return rate was very good. YBs definitely learn from these difficult races. I'm still missing 14 out of 50. Hopefully they will trickle in. As you said, they deserve a second chance. I also hope people who get stray birds do feed them and let them go. If the birds are not injured nor exhausted, they will fly back home.
I could be wrong but I think as the birds made their way east they encountered the bad weather and they either went too much south or too much north to go around and they found themselves disoriented. I had a lady who called me a couple hours ago reporting 156, one of my missing birds, in Delaware. I asked her to give him water, rice, seeds. Hopefully he has it in him to come home tomorrow
@@MaydisLoft This is possible. That's why my birds took much longer to come back from the 42-mile toss last Thursday. They must have had to go around and find the break point and come back. If it's a longer race like 150 miles, they can easily be disoriented and exhausted. I think this is particularly difficult for young birds due to lack of experience and physicality.
Hi i have questions about Carlisle PA do you allowed to rise the pigeon in Carlisle county . I live in Albany NY I receive letters from Albany County and they said to me you are not allowe to rise the pigeon and they said you have to remove your pigeon and your coop.

Yeah sometimes they're so exhausted that they just wish their stop was a bit closer 🤣🤣
Great results Silvio, you have really good ones!
The birds are doing good, hopefully I can keep them going right as the distance goes up.

Nice results! Congrats 🎉
Thanks, 958 did good last 100 and yesterday's 150!
156 is stopped at my house in Delaware!! He’s been spending the day with us.
Thank you so much for taking care of him! ❤️ Let me know if he's still there in late afternoon or if he left. If he leaves, he'll come home.

Yeah, some cities and I guess counties don't allow it. Move 😆
Awesome race and appreciate the update keep up the good work and fly'em with purpose 🙏🏼🏆🧬🤞🏼🪽🪽
