This is, like your other video of Simple Song of Freedom/Beyond the Sea from the Irish Rovers TV series. But the change of clothes and the difference in video quality suggests the two videos are from different episodes. Do you think the same? Could he have filmed two episodes at once, or perhaps been a series regular? Thanks for any help in unscrambling this.
shaneleebrown shaneleebrown I would say that it was two episodes filmed together. I don’t know that’s just a guess, but his slacks and shoes look to be the same as in the “beyond the sea” video. Narrow at the legs, grey in color with dark shoes. Although his hair is slightly different. The other looks a little cleaner. This may have been filmed after the other, with a change of shirts causing the hairpiece to be changed slightly. It’s not too far off the other.
Sadly, the way the world is today, this would come across as dated/ chauvinistic/ out of touch with the modern attitudes. But all he wants to do is provide and take care of her, but women nowadays are all "I can take care of myself, I don't need a man, I can do anything you can do! " That's why the divorce rate is so high, men are being emasculated, all they want is to be appreciated and feel they're worth something.
