    for anyone curious, bloodworms, other than being a major allergen, are known to cause major and deadly bloating in African dwarf frogs due to parasite load and bacteria load. It was known to be a problem associated with bloodworms sourced from north american, specifically red larvae midge flies. Might be related to the bloating cause in the rams that he mentioned around 32:20.

    Since you already realize leaving the mülk in there is beneficial, i recommend adding some dry hay straw in a few test tanks. The carbon:nitrogen ratio in straw is such that it generates fulvic and humid acids and also generate peroxides in the water, which have a whole array or chain effects. Check it out

    The shelving you are using for your tanks wont be enough support. You'll have problems with sag, and that will crack tanks. I worked at Beldt's Aquarium many years ago.

    • @KeepingFishSimple
      @KeepingFishSimple  Год назад +1

      It’ll be fine

    • @GoDodgers1
      @GoDodgers1 Год назад +1

      @@KeepingFishSimple You are mistaken. Bare wood in a wet environment. You will be cracking tanks soon. You need to put angle iron strips the whole length of the shelving for support of the front and backs of the aquariums. Even then, the wood is going to be a problem. You need metal shelving, and not some weak idea that someone thinks will work. A lot of aquarium shops don't fix leaking aquariums like they should. How do you figure that will work with your wood shelving? I'd almost give you a break if you were using OAK, but you are using pine.

    Taking bristlenose for a drive in battery aerater pumped buckets is legit a good way to trigger spawns. yea I didnt believe it either, but it certainly explains why when you sell a useless peppermint colony the buyer always messages to say thank you for the biggest peppermint egg dump on record.
