I've kept fish -- here in the U.S. -- ever since I was 10 and am 72 now. Keep at it, Nick! Your love for fish (and shrimp) is awesome! It's a wonderful, magical hobby!
I've been an infrequent viewer of your channel over the years, and enjoyed your journey. Seeing where you started, where you are, and where you are going is really inspiring. Keep following your passion.
Stunning ,,, you have become an absolute credit to the history of keeping fish , the whole world over .. From 5 aquarium's at home and then to this ,, what a fantastic journey . You do it right . with the right vibe . Thank you ,, all the best from the UK ... Roland

Drinking game challenge! Every time he says: "They love bug buffet..", you know what to do. Good luck 🤣
Always love your content! Your fish are such great quality, if I didn't live in the US I'd be buying like crazy. You've become one of my favorite RUclipsrs ❤
for anyone curious, bloodworms, other than being a major allergen, are known to cause major and deadly bloating in African dwarf frogs due to parasite load and bacteria load. It was known to be a problem associated with bloodworms sourced from north american, specifically red larvae midge flies. Might be related to the bloating cause in the rams that he mentioned around 32:20.
I really regret not getting into what you’re doing at your age. You might not have nearly a full idea of what a rare treat that must be! Please don’t ever lose sight of that. Thanks for all these great vids too. 🙂👍
I have been told not to feed any fish any of the mini or micro worms on a regular basis. And to vary the diet. But baby brine is a complete food. However, when I feed that too much, they don't eat anything else.
Since you already realize leaving the mülk in there is beneficial, i recommend adding some dry hay straw in a few test tanks. The carbon:nitrogen ratio in straw is such that it generates fulvic and humid acids and also generate peroxides in the water, which have a whole array or chain effects. Check it out
I am so happy for you. I have been watching you since you basically started on RUclips... I wish I lived close by you so I could spend the whole day just looking at all your tanks...
Great video…. Coffee is everything… that Jason drinks a lot of it… shows he a smart guy… I grew up on Cuban coffee… basically thick expresso style with and insane amount of sugar ..
Bought some Bug Buffet last week, Delivery down to Sydney was super quick! Communication with the status of the order was exceptional and most importantly....my fish love it. Thanks
Zebre pleco males heads look totally different from a top veiw, don't be discouraged they take time. Back in the day whole sale on them were about $5.oo. Boy have times changed.
Hey mate,,I had a tank about 30 ish years ago,, I had these tiny fish about the same or smaller than the pea puffer, they were yellow and black with red tip on the fins and I vaguely remember that they were called bumblebee something anyway I have not been able to find them anywhere just wondering if you have viewed these anywhere?
You're shop and breeding facilities are so cool, it must be very interesting and fun to breed so much fish and watch the fry grow. You're such an inspiration to me Nick.😊😊
A baby brine shrimp hatchery next to the coffee station! I trust that works out for you? 😉 I also hatch mine in the kitchen next to a coffee machine. 😊
This was an awesome video please show more videos on your breeding programs and updates on the grow outs. I didn't watch it all at one time because of my schedule but I have already watched this one twice thanks for taking the time to do this one.
The shelving you are using for your tanks wont be enough support. You'll have problems with sag, and that will crack tanks. I worked at Beldt's Aquarium many years ago.
@@KeepingFishSimple You are mistaken. Bare wood in a wet environment. You will be cracking tanks soon. You need to put angle iron strips the whole length of the shelving for support of the front and backs of the aquariums. Even then, the wood is going to be a problem. You need metal shelving, and not some weak idea that someone thinks will work. A lot of aquarium shops don't fix leaking aquariums like they should. How do you figure that will work with your wood shelving? I'd almost give you a break if you were using OAK, but you are using pine.
what an entrepreneur! Impressive set up and business sense. So jealous of your setup. I do agree with your ethic about wild caught - that's just cruel. I always buy tank bred. Not many videos hold my attention without skipping for almost 2 hours . Weee corys!. love it
Good job Nick. Really enjoy your fish room video! Just a suggestion... since you were not successful with breeding discus in the old garage may be you want to give that another go. Keep up the good work
Taking bristlenose for a drive in battery aerater pumped buckets is legit a good way to trigger spawns. yea I didnt believe it either, but it certainly explains why when you sell a useless peppermint colony the buyer always messages to say thank you for the biggest peppermint egg dump on record.
OptiFlow on the zebra pleco tank it will help with the breading it helped me a lot when I tried breading and was having trouble and I would advise if you noticed them breeding take the eggs I can’t remember if it’s a male or female that eats them good luck my friend great job
Zebras are notoriously the most difficult to breed. They typically don’t start breeding until they are older (2-5 yrs) and more mature. The males have more prominent odontodes on their pectorals and body. 😊
I've been breeding fishi for 15 years now and your videos have helped me so many times when I didn't know what to do.thanks for that :) Seeing how much love you put into your breeding is really nice to see. :) Greetings from Germany. Ps. We need BUG-BUFFET in Germany too that would be cool. :) :)
Dude… you said you only “open” on Saturday but you working 7 days.. wondering how many hours you put in.. what your staff helps you with.. because the place is always clean… nice…
Man i watched the whole vid amazing what you have going on there keep up the good work you really have a nack for it and continuos succes in the business also cheers
Awesome to see the inner workings! Have you though about hanging the mops in the cory tanks so they don't collect as much detritus? Saw someone a while back that just made little hangers out of scrap PVC pipe
I’ve had pretty consistent success with breeding plecos. I make sure there’s only one dominant male and one or two plump females. You’ll have eggs the next morning, guess plecos prefer getting a room 🤣
It would be really nice if you made a video on the fish diseases that you come across and how you cure them in your fish room. I am really struggling with fish diseases and i don't know how to cure them.
Bug Buffet drinking game? This guy obviously really likes his set up , Amazing accomplishment especially for the age. Very inspiring minus the boasting
"I dont have time to show the front of the store" proceeds to show instant coffee tutorial 😂 awesome setup though bro.
😂😂😂 exactly

I have a green thumb on land. Not so much in the aquarium. Started uping the nutrient dose. So far so good.

I love long fish tour videos. Greetings from Croatia Nick
Croatia is beautiful, the most stunning country I’ve ever been to
Great video…. Coffee is everything… that Jason drinks a lot of it… shows he a smart guy…
I grew up on Cuban coffee… basically thick expresso style with and insane amount of sugar ..
THIS WAS AWESOME!!! If you don’t already, you should get some PANDA GARRA to breed! They are LOADS of fun. 🤙🏼💯
So impressed. You said long video, but it went so fast!! Loved it ❤. Looking forward to ordering from y’all one day soon
Please continue to make content, my 8 month old will really watch your show 🎉😅. So THANK YOU ! I also enjoy it very much.❤❤ wish you sold to the US😊
Given your young years, your accomplishments are impressive to say the least !
I believe that you'll breed any species you set your mind on 😉👍
Appreciate your enthusiasm on aquariums and fishes👍
me too bro
Bought some Bug Buffet last week, Delivery down to Sydney was super quick! Communication with the status of the order was exceptional and most importantly....my fish love it. Thanks
Would I move from tassie to learn the fish ways from this man? yessir.
Excellent video! Thanks for sharing 😊
YAY! black rams coming back hell yes. cannot wait till you line breed them to stunners, you can just take my money
Would love to know how you are managing to power this set up?
A nice big solor system to keep costs down?!
So amazing! I’d love to start breeding like that here. I wouldn’t be able to leave my room if it looked like that. Great job and education
Zebre pleco males heads look totally different from a top veiw, don't be discouraged they take time. Back in the day whole sale on them were about $5.oo. Boy have times changed.
Some awesome Fish, there enjoyed watching next door
Really enjoyed this tour!
My favorite part is that the coffee pot is next to the brine shrimp

Bumblebee goby
Video yang saya tunggu seharian saudaraku, mantap sekali
need more this type of video
You're shop and breeding facilities are so cool, it must be very interesting and fun to breed so much fish and watch the fry grow. You're such an inspiration to me Nick.😊😊
Can you do a video on blackworms? and how you keep them? also would like to see a video on plumbing and manage that volume of water
You should breed daphnia in green water and feed entire colonies to your pea puffers. They'll be a 24/7 feed source
Hey nick, I’ve been watching for about 3 years now, glad to see how far you’ve made it.
Legend!
😮Squeeel OMG! THOSE BABIES ARE SOO CUTE! I've never seen them when they are that small!!
Hey man don't feel bad because of talking much about your new product! You can be proud of it and bringing it into the world! Wish you all the best!
This made my day. Just started it I can't wait to see the whole thing.
A baby brine shrimp hatchery next to the coffee station! I trust that works out for you? 😉
I also hatch mine in the kitchen next to a coffee machine. 😊
What great video again. They say whiptails breed in bamboo with a opening about 15 mm that is what i hear
You do an absolutely amazing work there 🤩 your fish room is unbelievable 💪
Try keeping bristlenose pair with the zebras ,the hormonene realeze may trigger the spawn.😊
This was an awesome video please show more videos on your breeding programs and updates on the grow outs. I didn't watch it all at one time because of my schedule but I have already watched this one twice thanks for taking the time to do this one.
Great video mate! at least if we run out of coffee we always got Bug Buffet, it would probably be better for me 🤣
Do you dry out the banana leaves before adding to the tanks ?
awesome as always. If the brine shrimp fall into the coffee they are probably good for people too, jaja saludos desde Costa Rica :)
I love the fish room tours.
The shelving you are using for your tanks wont be enough support. You'll have problems with sag, and that will crack tanks. I worked at Beldt's Aquarium many years ago.
It’ll be fine

My peppermints breed like crazy in my community tank. They really just do it themselves. (Sydney)
love your corys dude, keep it up!

Good work mate, I'm going to drive up the coast to come see you one lazy Saturday and buy lots of your stuff I reckon
Incrivelmente Surreal !!
Peppermint works well!
Thank you my friend
Will we see Bug Buffet at other retailers, or just yourself? Seems like good merchandising opportunity for you.
Great video 😊I will try to breed Bristlenose plecos, hopefully will become like yours 😊
Is your fish food gonna be available in other countries too?
Awesome video brother.✌️😎

I’m over in the U.S. we get pea puffers for roughly $6 where I am if you were wondering
I really wish i was there and then i would have applied for a job at your shop😂
Great work dude, loved every minute of fish feeding :D
I’ve had pretty consistent success with breeding plecos. I make sure there’s only one dominant male and one or two plump females. You’ll have eggs the next morning, guess plecos prefer getting a room 🤣
Thank you for showing all the interesting fish and tips to breed them. 😍
It would be really nice if you made a video on the fish diseases that you come across and how you cure them in your fish room. I am really struggling with fish diseases and i don't know how to cure them.
You should get some fresh coffee beans and brew your coffee, just saying, love the videos Keep up the amazing work !!!!!!
I breed tons of 201s try letting the water evaporate so that the TDS rises then do water changes. I usually go from 250-300tds down to 150
I'm in the USA and this is a way bigger selection of fish than any of the local or chain fish stores near me. I certainly wouldn't call it small.
I love blackworms lol 😂 they are so interesting.
Never do I ever leave sponge filters near them.... I am gonna have to try now. 😂 That was awesome!
Love these tours. Any shell dweller plans on the horizon?
Imagine a HUGE, long, but shallow tank that just has 1,000 corys
Living the dream! By the way can you just keep black worms alive with a bag of coral? How long did it take to get so prolific?
It's all so beautiful. I wish I could have that many tanks! Do you have any plans to ship to WA at some point
Bravo! very excited!
Bug Buffet drinking game?
This guy obviously really likes his set up ,
Amazing accomplishment especially for the age.
