So I've followed your journey closely on IG for the last couple of years, screenshot your captions, comment on your posts, etc.. so it was a huge trip to scroll you tube and see your first vlog. Thank you again for the effort you put in to share your perspective on this game and your journey.. I already know I'm going to refer back to your intro of this video a few times .. grateful for you, my brother . 🙏

would be interested how you can justify folding ATs getting 3:1 IP vs some fish who min 3bs OOP. Like even if her range is QQ+ and AK we’re getting the right price to peel, and we almost certainly are gonna over realise IP vs a fish, yet you think call is losing?

In a vacuum yeah, but it's really hard to navigate the rest of the hand unless you really smash the flop in a hand like that. A lot of people know their preflop charts and math and they're great tools but you still have to navigate those types of hands post flop. In games where people are going to make mistakes post flop I try to air towards using my preflop ranges to help keep me in less marginal situations post flop because I, like most players, cannot play perfect GTO poker and get all the value in marginal spots with marginal holdings.

Let’s say the flop is 10 high or A high and she’s barreling every street…what do you do without actually being connected to her?
Or let’s say the flop is 6/7/8 and she’s barreling. Without connection, can you figure it out if it’s QQ or AK?

For everyone complaining about the A10dd fold, you’re exactly who this vlog is for.
So you call there since “you’re in position against a fish”.
The flop is A high or 10 high and now she’s barreling flop and turn, what do you do? Or if the flop is 6/7/8 and she bet the flop and check called turn. What do you do? You know nothing about her other than your vacuum based ego assumptions about how “bad she is”. What does that mean? She’s not capable of randomly barreling without a big value hand(even though she could have very well got attached and started fighting for it after 3betting).
Is your purpose to play in vacuum based on static strategy and a bunch of assumptions vs unknowns? How has that been working out for you?
How many times have you gotten yourself into these vacuum situations against a “unknown bad player” and how often has it worked out against you in a big pot with a marginal(at best) hand.
To me that’s the purpose of this Vlog. Be outside the box instead of playing “standard” because “playing standard” isn’t standard at all, but just repetitive patterns that ultimately work very marginally at best or don’t work at all.

very interesting commentary. I don't know if this works at higher stakes because most players at that l;evel are a lot harder to read if not impossible. I love the concept of always taking a break at 90 minutes :)

It's really gay to have to connect off and on with other guys constantly . If you are playing off of energy levels only why even look at the cards that come just play hands blind with energy reading people instead of actually playing the cards and boards just play off of those skills

Hey PwP I don’t agree with everything on reading energies etc, however, I am a heavily empathetic person. This has been negative in live settings bc I feel bad for bluffing against weak players (feels like stealing) etc. the empathy has changed my strat for the worst. Any advice?
