@@JQpoker I've been playing over 50 years. The most important thing to learn if you want to be a successful poker player is not even the cards...it's bankroll control....I busted out many times overextending myself. Those charts and graft you like to bring up are good to know but a guy who can read the table will beat them every time. Sti Ungar never seen a chart but didn't need one: a few hours against opponents and he didn't need to look at his cards. Phil Ivey another one. Daniel Negraneau knows those charts by heart but still goes with his instincts. Sharpen them and you'll be on your way. Also play in some tourney's....a different game but it will sharpen your skills
I’ve been there before I know exactly where those movie poster picture are right near the bathrooms. And those $1000 every half hour are every month and the last Tuesday of each month
Good analysis of the hands. I think giving up on the A8s hand was not a bad option like you said. Even betting big there will probably not getting AA to fold there with the draws that bricked out and in case he had a weaker flushdraw you can beat that with your A-high. Maybe 3-betting pre instead of calling was also a better option in hindsight. Nice vlog. 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Feel like his value range is too thin to go for it on this river, how much 5x or 2x do you really have here as played, I don’t see overpairs ever folding here so betting seems pointless
@@JQpoker I would think that it would be larger. Only played 1-2 and 1-3 at chasers in nh and encore Boston. 1-2 usally most people 10-15 standard and for 1-3 15-25. I would expect 2-5 to be at least 25.
@@chrismcgreal4030 really depends on the game. There were a few regs at the table so opening sizes were closer to theory. 3x was standard throughout. $15 or $30 with the straddle.
I’m unsubscribing next time you miss a royal flush draw
@@DukeyBets wahhhh😓
Ouch! That's why Rampage is playing $50-$100 in Vegas and your playing $2-$5 at the Brook!
One of many reasons lol

Thank you! Yes I should be playing 3 bet or fold from CO, I agree but the worst 2 players at the table were behind me so wanted to play with them
@@JQpoker Ok, that makes sense to keep those 2 players in.

@@fransfermont6193honestly tho looking back you’re right, they would probably cold call anyway🤣

Sick background music bro
Could just be the angle of the camera but it looked like you played a lot of hands out of position?
Good point I’ll be mindful of this next session, in position obviously bettwr
Rofl. It's a soft 1-2. ....position ahaaahhaah
What a beast
have you ever considered playing professionally full time ?

15 standard open in 2-5?
@@chrismcgreal4030 yeah without the straddle, live poker typically has large opens
