I talked to the Dewalt rep in Lowe's a week ago, and it's not really a deal if you already have Dewalt tools.
Dewalt does some of the best marketing and promotions, but I just have think the tools aren't quite what they used to be and their warranty service could be better.
I'd go Flex or Kobalt depending on your budget.
Why?
I have kobalt and flex . Love them both . Kobalt is my first love as far as power tools go . They have never let me down and have got me through every job I've brought them to . Kobalt tools made me the money to afford flex 😂 flex is definitely a major upgrade from kobalt though . Unbelievable power . I will say that Amp for Amp, my kobalt batteries last much longer than my brother's Milwaukee M12 batteries . Haven't compared them to M18 though .

Do those misting fans cool you down more without making you feel wet? I had a big one years ago but it put out so much moisture it wasn't that comfortable?

Still on the Fence between Buying Dewalt or Milwaukee brand for Starting to build a Battery tool collection. Still old school here with corded tools for now 😂.
Whatever you do if you are in the trades research the tools they have just in case you need them later. Also a good tip is to take weight into consideration if you use them all day the 12 volt platform would be the way to go.
If all I needed was a 16in mower, I'd almost certainly not buy a mower. I'd take that cash and put it toward a really good string trimmer instead. I've cut acres carrying a string trimmer and with a bit of practice a good trimmer can compete with a cheap mower plus you can trim.

It CAN be good . Say you have a potential job or job lined up that requires a tool you don't have and don't have the money to cover it , you can get it on credit and pay it off when you finish the job .
