Funny story. My dad, mom and sister went to see Billy Graham at a stadium in the 90's. I didn't go because I always felt the BS coming from him. My sister is disabled so they got good seats and were pretty close to the side of the stage. My dad said that Graham went up to speak and the music and singers kept going, apparently he had walked up a bit too soon. Graham yelled at a few people to cut the music and got pretty mad. The mic was on and some of the audience heard it. Once the music was over Graham went into the public speaker "humility" act, and dad said the act was very obvious because he switched it on right in front of him. Christianity as it is presented now is just an obvious acting job. That is where Martin made so much sense to me and eventually I got it. I saw the fakeness from about age 8 and rejected it naturally, but it wasn't until age 45 that someone vocalized why I was rejecting it. Thanks Martin! Hugely appreciate your work.
Similar to my experience as an 18 year old lad in a charasmaniac church. We had a visiting pastor who had a "healing ministry". I responded to his altar call, dunno why, as from memory l wasn't suck but maybe l had a cold. He called me out and said "young man, l'm going to pray for your back". My back was perfectly fine. "Komabattacammaramma, be healed in Jeeesus name!". He then asked me how my back was. I responded "it's fine". "Hallelujah, praise the Lord" he responded with about 1,000 clapping and cheering. I, being a naive 18 year old new Christian, didn't have the heart to call him out.
I waited until 8:50 a.m. for the email announcing what Father had for me this morning. It was a reminder that back in 1967 I had been led into a Billy Graham evangelistic showing of the Christian message of salvation, wherein I spent the next forty-plus years. I moved from one preacher to the next, never knowing the gospel given to Paul, never knowing justification. The Navigators, Rex Humbard, Jimmy Swaggart, Harold Camping, and so many ministries for Christ, but never knowing Him. Then Father revealed Himself through His Word, through the person of Martin Zender. So I wait each morning to hear what Father has to say to me, through him and His Word.
Dear Robert, I'm sorry that you had to wait so long for it this morning! But thank you for sharing this testimony. Wow, what an appropriate testimony for today. All of those men and organizations, I am afraid, belong in the same category. It is astounding, as 2wildboar23 says above, that these men and organization threaten the human race with A LIE, that is, eternal separation from God. I don't think we are able to calculate the damage. Thank you both for your patience and for sharing this amazing testimony.
There is not one single verse in all of God’s word that threatens people with “eternity“. And yet this is the very foundation/battle cry of Christians. They run around threatening humanity with “eternity“. It all continues to be so mind blowing.
Ain’t that so! The scarcity of critical thinking and the predominance of self-righteousness is stunning, all to show that God calls the shots and unless HE drags us to Himself, we will never get it. It’s all about God and His glory, not us and our ability to make the right choice.

I always say its going to be a bitter/sweet realization for Christians at the Great White Throne. Bitter due to being wrong or in trouble. Sweet because they'll see that the truth of God and Christ is way better than they thought! 🤗
Cannot bring myself to judge him that harshly. If God wrote all of his sermons, and chose him to deliver them (assuming your view of God's sovereignty is correct), it seems to me he did his job well, just like Satan does, and "applause will be coming" to him from God (1 Corinthians 4:5) for doing such a good job in the role he played in God's sovereign plan. And, he will be justified, saved, reconciled, and glorified - just like all of the rest of us. Just thinking out loud.
Maybe Graham will be somewhat relieved and happy that he was wrong, while seeing he missed the boat. It will be glorious to see him eventually gladly acclaiming that God is that good that He has the ability to turn all His enemies and indifferent non believers into grateful, worshipping and loving friends. Every hell believer l have spoken with is always indicating some measure of regret about eternal conscious torment and that even if they wish it weren’t so, they can’t avoid it. But it is still hypocritical to say you wish it weren’t so and yet defend it and not bother to more carefully investigate this issue. But, all part of the plan.

Wonderful critique of a God awful message. Because there are so many deceived people in the world, there must be expositors of truth to show them the truth. This truth is that God, through His Son Jesus Christ, is already at peace with the world, not counting anyone's sins against them (2Co.5:19). He gave us this message to spread to an unknowing, unloving world (2Co.5:18). Having said that, maybe we should cut ole Billy some slack. After all, like the Pharisees before him, he is doing the work of his father, the devil (Joh.8:44).

Hi Martin, When you do this, you remind me of Nick Nolte’s performance in the movie, “Blue Chip”. He comes into the locker room at half time, and goes bat shit, knocking water coolers down and silencing everyone in the locker room. Sometimes, that is what it takes. That, and the poses of Billy Graham with the Bible over his head. This was a great one and I thank you for it. We all need the clarity of smelling salts like a fighter between rounds to wake him up to the fight he is in, to get him to go back and fight until the fight is over.
Once i was doubting if the Cristians belonged to the body of the Christ and it came to me that also the muslims got it wrong. They even as christians: mimic the man what was most holy in there religion to come close to their god. Have to do prayers to have an 'relationship' with their God. Both say they cant deserve salvation but live like they do. I think it is a big difference to believe in Jesus or to believe in The risen Christ.

His grandson, Will Graham, came down to Tasmania last year. A friend talked me into going there, and l went with both my kids and my sons friend. Don't ask me why l did this, but in hindsight, it wasn't my best idea. Along with many youth, who were emotionally coherst, my kids went down when he made his alter call. Now my friend told me "congratulations your children are now saved". It was a typical hell fire presentation more like he was selling a fire insurance policy I have read a lengthy book that claims that Billy Graham was a pa#doph×le. I've done so many dumb things in my life but that's up there for stupidity eh

Hey brother. I believe all have already be saved, those who haven’t been quickened, ie., led to the knowledge of the truth just don’t realise it, yet! I fully believe and understand that the lake of fire serves a purpose and is a purification process, however; by no means does the scripture teach eternal torment. Any doctrine about God including teachings on judgment and punishment must be consistent with his love. The question that I’m gaining more understanding with at the moment is how do we encourage those to believe in Jesus as there are certain scriptures like (Matthew 11:28) that state come to me all ye that labour and heavy burden and I will give you rest. Plus, (Matthew 28:19-20). Also, anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13). I don’t believe that the kind of repentance religion teaches where when we sin and fall short we must repent the way they teach. The love of God leads us to repentance. (Romans 2:4). We are all sinners and we sin daily through, thought, word, and deed due to the sin nature of Adam which was already in our fathers plan for us to fall, so that Jesus would be revealed to the world and for us to be saved? (Romans 8:20). I don’t claim to be right about everything and still fairly new in new in my journey with Jesus due to being led to the knowledge of the truth in 2019. I hunger for more truth and understanding and have been studying the Hebrew and Greek text. The sovereignty of God, “forever, everlasting, eternity and aionios life, future eions, etc!” So my question is how do we shared, encourage those to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ knowing that God has created vessels of dishonour for a specific purpose. (Romans 9:21-23). We, as the body of Christ have been given the ministry of reconciliation and I believe preaching grace, love, peace, and reconciliation is part of our ministry. I’ve come from religion, in which I’m no longer part of, and quickly come to the realisation that they peach a different Jesus to the one Paul preached. I preach all have been forgiven 2,000 years ago and that Jesus loves us all regardless if he has led us to believe in him, yet, or not. Thank you for your content. I really appreciate you speaking the truth and encouraging us with the truth.

Truth is Truth!!! Awkward Unpleasantness Aside. Most of my family in the Philippines are locked up in the insanity of Catholic & Christian Religious Insanity. I love them so much, but they are off the rails in their constant delusion of reality. Jesus, Alone, is Saving them...and they don't even know it. Nevertheless, like everyone, they will eventually know the true Jesus Christ and the True God of ALL. Common sense is not for everyone; I believed the BS for 58 years of my life. I attended a Billy Graham crusade in Portland, Oregon. Johnny & June Carter-Cash were also there. Of course, I ran to the alter of Christian Hypnosis to confess my sins and beg forgiveness there, like I had done 100's of times (apparently, I was never able to altogether remove sin on my own, from Sunday Service to Sunday Service, a lot of sinning, oh, well, such is humanity). I spent my whole life in terror of their BS fake "Hell". Thank you, Martin, for always keeping it real.
I think you must have humility and respect and understanding when you speak of someone like Billy Graham and not so harshly condemn him and I believe he thought he was doing what God told him to do even though it might have been through ignorance.. I definitely don't think he intentionally provided it and a lot of people's lives were changed for the good and they heard of Christ love and redemption on the cross even though it was mixed with contradictory ideas that are actually found in Scripture..and the simple message of just praying asking... I have been in this deconstruction it's been so hard wanting to believe the completely good news but yet so much of this fear and torment and rejection is so deeply ingrained that I never can fully let It go and the absolutely confident one of the reasons is because you know the whole idea that the majority of Christians love Billy Graham and you know you're hitting yourself against the majority and most people that have a lot of soul sickness like I did you know can't really survive and isolation without a body of believers you know somebody to have fellowship with I speak from my own experience there when I left the church because of the doctrine of eternal damnation..but anyway if your words aren't seasoned with Grace whether it's a comment on here if it's not spoken in love it's nothing you're missing the gentleness in the grace that you are speaking of... It's easy to speak of humility and speaking the truth in love but it's quite another thing to live that so so I just wanted to interject that Dad speaking of Christ or one of the apostles said he would not even bring a railing accusation

His grandson, Will Graham, came down to Tasmania last year. A friend talked me into going there, and l went with both my kids and my sons friend. Don't ask me why l did this, but in hindsight, it wasn't my best idea. Along with many youth, who were emotionally coherst, my kids went down when he made his alter call. Now my friend told me "congratulations your children are now saved". It was a typical hell fire presentation more like he was selling a fire insurance policy

Hey brother. I believe all have already be saved, those who haven’t been quickened, ie., led to the knowledge of the truth just don’t realise it, yet!
I fully believe and understand that the lake of fire serves a purpose and is a purification process, however; by no means does the scripture teach eternal torment.
Any doctrine about God including teachings on judgment and punishment must be consistent with his love.
The question that I’m gaining more understanding with at the moment is how do we encourage those to believe in Jesus as there are certain scriptures like (Matthew 11:28) that state come to me all ye that labour and heavy burden and I will give you rest. Plus, (Matthew 28:19-20).
Also, anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13).
I don’t believe that the kind of repentance religion teaches where when we sin and fall short we must repent the way they teach. The love of God leads us to repentance. (Romans 2:4).
We are all sinners and we sin daily through, thought, word, and deed due to the sin nature of Adam which was already in our fathers plan for us to fall, so that Jesus would be revealed to the world and for us to be saved? (Romans 8:20).
I don’t claim to be right about everything and still fairly new in new in my journey with Jesus due to being led to the knowledge of the truth in 2019. I hunger for more truth and understanding and have been studying the Hebrew and Greek text. The sovereignty of God, “forever, everlasting, eternity and aionios life, future eions, etc!”
So my question is how do we shared, encourage those to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ knowing that God has created vessels of dishonour for a specific purpose. (Romans 9:21-23).
We, as the body of Christ have been given the ministry of reconciliation and I believe preaching grace, love, peace, and reconciliation is part of our ministry.
I’ve come from religion, in which I’m no longer part of, and quickly come to the realisation that they peach a different Jesus to the one Paul preached.
I preach all have been forgiven 2,000 years ago and that Jesus loves us all regardless if he has led us to believe in him, yet, or not.

Truth is Truth!!! Awkward Unpleasantness Aside. Most of my family in the Philippines are locked up in the insanity of Catholic & Christian Religious Insanity. I love them so much, but they are off the rails in their constant delusion of reality. Jesus, Alone, is Saving them...and they don't even know it.
Nevertheless, like everyone, they will eventually know the true Jesus Christ and the True God of ALL. Common sense is not for everyone; I believed the BS for 58 years of my life. I attended a Billy Graham crusade in Portland, Oregon. Johnny & June Carter-Cash were also there. Of course, I ran to the alter of Christian Hypnosis to confess my sins and beg forgiveness there, like I had done 100's of times (apparently, I was never able to altogether remove sin on my own, from Sunday Service to Sunday Service, a lot of sinning, oh, well, such is humanity). I spent my whole life in terror of their BS fake "Hell". Thank you, Martin, for always keeping it real.
I think you must have humility and respect and understanding when you speak of someone like Billy Graham and not so harshly condemn him and I believe he thought he was doing what God told him to do even though it might have been through ignorance.. I definitely don't think he intentionally provided it and a lot of people's lives were changed for the good and they heard of Christ love and redemption on the cross even though it was mixed with contradictory ideas that are actually found in Scripture..and the simple message of just praying asking... I have been in this deconstruction it's been so hard wanting to believe the completely good news but yet so much of this fear and torment and rejection is so deeply ingrained that I never can fully let It go and the absolutely confident one of the reasons is because you know the whole idea that the majority of Christians love Billy Graham and you know you're hitting yourself against the majority and most people that have a lot of soul sickness like I did you know can't really survive and isolation without a body of believers you know somebody to have fellowship with I speak from my own experience there when I left the church because of the doctrine of eternal damnation..but anyway if your words aren't seasoned with Grace whether it's a comment on here if it's not spoken in love it's nothing you're missing the gentleness in the grace that you are speaking of... It's easy to speak of humility and speaking the truth in love but it's quite another thing to live that so so I just wanted to interject that Dad speaking of Christ or one of the apostles said he would not even bring a railing accusation

I don’t disagree with you on every point, but where is the love of God in you? I understand how you see yourself just by what you said at the end; however, you are old enough that you could have spoken your thoughts directly to Billy Graham without assassinating his character after his death. If you are going to use Paul as an example, he wasn’t a coward and he spoke directly to the person or persons he was rebuking.
A point worth making doesn’t require tearing down another. Without love your words are worthless Martin.
