While many Hanukkah pieces incorporate familiar melodies, Reisteter chose to compose an original work that evokes the emotions and stories of the holiday rather than referencing specific tunes. This piece was written in honor of conductor Ronny Demkee and captures the essence of Hanukkah’s final night, when all eight candles of the menorah are lit, shining brightly as a symbol of hope and resilience.
