I just made this and I tried to wait overnight before cutting into it, but the temptation was just to great. This was fantastic, reminded me of a chocolate cream pie. The pudding was delicious and so easy to make, I can see it being used in several different ways. I will wait to serve the rest and I know it will be even better. I can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate all the time, effort, and resources you put into sharing these recipes. She does include the ingredients in the drop down box and also at the end of the video. It might take a little time to jot down the steps, but all of her recipes turn out fantastic and they are worth the extra effort.

Delicious! The crust, cream cheese, and chocolate need a dash of salt. Especially the chocolate to take some of the bitterness out, salt to taste. Love this recipe!

Years ago I clipped a recipe called "The Next Best Thing to Robert Redford"....THIS IS THAT RECIPE! from scratch s/f & g/f...the old recipe was jello pudding & cool whip. It was what I always brought to BBQ's & potlucks. I've made this FOUR times since getting this recipe! Although I add 2 oz melted Lily's dark chocolate to the pudding. So Very Yummy!!😁😁
My family use to make this since I was a kid we called it slush and of course it was basically cream cheese, chocolate pudding and cool whip with a Walnut and butter crust with a little flour!!! I am definitely going to try this healthier version!!! Thank you for sharing !! Because I've eaten a whole pan in one sitting 🤣🤣❤️❤️

Yay! So happy you all enjoyed it. For leftovers, keep frozen in a tightly covered container. When ready to eat, just cut off a piece and allow to thaw; keep the rest frozen. ❤️
Or cut into individual servings before freezing. Then put each serving in a smaller individual size container, or semi freeze each piece, wrap in plastic wrap and put inndividual servings in one large freezer ziplock bag.

Made this for years. Quick option is to use sugar free pudding and sugar free cool whip if you are in a pinch. Also known as a lush, 4 layer icebox cake, dessert etc.. Your serving was not 1/16th of the recipe, it was maybe 1/9th, I'm guessing.

Hello dear, it means that the chocolate was not tempered properly causing the chocolate to split. Your mixture is too hot, consider making them in low heat, stirring continuously.
What a lovely recipe. I think I will add Tangerine or Mandarin or Orange essence to the top layer. It will go so well with the chocolate mind you so would mint.

Omg, I had trouble making it😅😮 I used mascarpone cheese and it wasn't as stiff as cream cheese so I saved the situation adding gelatine into the cream. Chocolate layer also...disaster. it did not get thick, stayed liquidish, so needed gelatin as well, and the bottom layer, this was too much of butter. I needed to tap the kitchen paper to at least remove a bit of greasyness. It is in the fridge and it is intended to be my B day cake so let's hope it won't taste like butter and gelatine😂

The ingredients call for 1/2 cup (65g) pecan meal but, you blend pecan halves. Should I add 1/2 cup pecan halves or pre-blend and add a/2 cup of the powdered blended pecans. Just want to make it so it is amazing, thank you!!

I really don’t understand what kind of whipping cream you all use in these recipes if you get so few carbs per serving. All heavy creams that I can find here where I live have plenty carbs!

Made this for years. Quick option is to use sugar free pudding and sugar free cool whip if you are in a pinch. Also known as a lush, 4 layer icebox cake, dessert etc.. Your serving was not 1/16th of the recipe, it was maybe 1/9th, I'm guessing.

Hello dear, it means that the chocolate was not tempered properly causing the chocolate to split. Your mixture is too hot, consider making them in low heat, stirring continuously.

Omg, I had trouble making it😅😮
I used mascarpone cheese and it wasn't as stiff as cream cheese so I saved the situation adding gelatine into the cream. Chocolate layer also...disaster. it did not get thick, stayed liquidish, so needed gelatin as well, and the bottom layer, this was too much of butter. I needed to tap the kitchen paper to at least remove a bit of greasyness.
It is in the fridge and it is intended to be my B day cake so let's hope it won't taste like butter and gelatine😂

The ingredients call for 1/2 cup (65g) pecan meal but, you blend pecan halves. Should I add 1/2 cup pecan halves or pre-blend and add a/2 cup of the powdered blended pecans. Just want to make it so it is amazing, thank you!!
