Love your videos I’m not a vegan but I do eat vegan sometimes from this restaurant called Bronze Cafe aka Bronze Cafe at the Market here in Las Vegas , Nv ; they have 2 locations . Suggestion Can you make a video on vegan based essentials that a person would need to get started? If you don’t mind. I would like to incorporate eating vegan most of the week 5 days a week and I don’t know what basics I need to get started I do drink almond milk and soy milk etc mushrooms Hope you respond and can help on this request please. Can you do a video on vegan milkshakes? I looove making them because I find them even tastier than normal ones for some reason, when you know there’s no cream or ice cream in them. My fave is with a frozen banana, glass of plant milk, 1 teaspoon of sugar and peanut butter, and 2 tsp of cocoa powder. It’s sooo rich and creamy and when you’ve been vegan a while you don’t even notice that the creaminess comes from the banana, it just tastes like a milkshake, and the only reason I add sugar is because the cocoa makes it a little bitter but it’s still ok without it !!
theCharlotte23 thats because you’re supposed to have a snack between breakfast and lunch. For the benefit of your health it is recommended you eat 5 times a day. 3 large meals and one snack between breakfast and one between lunch and dinner.
I tried putting lentils in my breakfast cookies. I cooked the lentils in apple juice/water and added whole spices like cinnamon stick, cloves, allspice, cardamom and star anise. Caitlin, I’d love to see you play with that idea.
@@kikigarcia4174 that sounds wierd cuase we are used to eating lentils savory but lentils themselves dont have any flavor so I think this will actually be a good way to eat lentils
I love the oats idea and I like that you're mixing chia seeds with oats! I usually make a version with peanut flour and banana or jam, but the combination of peanut and something sweet is so yummy! And those cookies look delicious also!
My default breakfast these days is oatmeal. The default ingredients are 2tbsp pb, cinnamon, chopped bananas, 1/2 cup oatmeal, frozen strawberries and around 2tbsp of sugar.The way I prep them is I just chop everything that needs to be chop and portion them in freezer safe containers and just cook them in the microwave for around 10min on medium heat. I absolutely love watching all of your recipes and as I just started eating wfpb, it's really nice to have your channel handy in case I feel like switching my menu up every once in a while.
I am fairly new to meal prep (on my 4th week!). Thank you so much for these breakfast recipes. My son is about to start Kindergarten and is allergic to dairy, wheat, egg and peanuts so your channel has been an inspiration! :) We will be making your cookies today! You look very young to have kids, but it would be AWESOME to see some meal prep ideas that are kid-friendly/appealing so I can hopefully only have to make meals once for the both of us.

THANK YOU! I'm usually rushing to catch the bus to work and don't always (truthfully: almost never) have time for a healthy breakfast. More often then not, "breakfast" is a cup of black iced coffee from the Dunkin Donuts across the street from my office. But recipes like this that I can prep ahead of time and grab when I'm running out the door to eat at the bus stop or in my office make it easy to get a healthy breakfast in so I'm not cramming my face with chips or other unhealthy snacks at 10:30 because I'm hungry.
The cookies look amazing!!! I prepare vegan banana bread in double batches every two weeks, slice them up, a freeze the slices for breakfasts for my kids. 😋
Fun fact: if your banana isn’t ripe enough, peel it and put it in a bowl and toss it in the microwave for about 30 seconds to a minute. It sweetens the banana and softens it. 🤙🏻

One i love is a breakfast hash with potatoes, black beans and corn! You can season it with whatever you want (i love salt, pepper, garlic and dill) and i top it with ketchup! Its seriously amazing. Could do this with sweet potato too! Hope that helps!

Love the granola breakfast cookies! I'm going to make them for my vegan kiddos this week. Our current fave breakfast is my vegan breakfast bread but we eat that like 3 days per week so a change is in order! Thanks for sharing!

gypsygurl she has a video about high protein foods where she makes these mini crustless quiches. Point is, I made them for a savory breakfast and they’re amazing. I would highly recommend having a couple of those and you can make them ahead.

I wonder is adding in protein powder will change the nutritional content (since it’s baked, does the powder lose potency?) . Will give it a go anyhow. What would you recommend someone with a cut health problem I can’t have gluten or soy still doing my plant based diet can you maybe do a video on that someone dealing with guy and abdominal problem I would appreciate that❤️
Could you use cucumbers instead of zucchini? I’m not a fan of zucchini and I feel like I wouldn’t like it as much knowing they’re in the smoothie, but I love cucumbers.
Can I add a mix of pea protein and flour instead of just flour for the cookies? I wanted to add something to make it more filling for when i go to work in mornings.

Those overnight oats look so good! I have been eating a lot of OO lately, and craving PB&J, so this is the perfect solution!
For the cookies I only used the banana and oats with some sweetener and it was sooo good

yes, but you will be able to taste the cucumbers more! you can also use frozen cauliflower :)
