I enjoyed volunteering for the Art Impressions class at the Scrapbook Expo in Santa Clara! Thank you for treating me like a world class volunteer and allowing me to join in. I am a fan now. I'm watching the Ai youtube videos and got myself some stamps and markers. I find watercoloring to be relaxing and I found a new hobby. My friends have been impressed by my Ai watercolor works.

HURRAY! I received my Connoisseur brush yesterday and got right into it, and boy does this brush make a HUGE difference. I am now throwing out the horridly cheap, poor quality brushes I was using and this is now my go-to brush! My AI style watercolor card projects are looking GREAT! I had no idea the bristles on the brush were going to make this much difference! IF you are having trouble, GET THE BRUSH! Thank you, Kendra!

It was about time I can leave the unpacking aside and watch your video Kendra. Loved this one! Although I've used these stamps some times already I feel like you add lots of tips in your videos that will come in handy: leave white space was a good one today. :) thanks for the instruction!! ❤️

Hello, Kendra. Thank you for such a nice, slow tutorial. I am a bit slow at catching on to all the information, and your explanations and demonstrations are excellent! Thank you so much! I recently purchased the foliage set, the flowers set, and the set with the garden gate as the focal point. I have found the process challenging, but I am getting better. This lesson helped me realize that I am not leaving white space throughout the little daisy groups I am making. I am using a synthetic round #4 brush, but my results are not very good, so I may need to purchase the same brush you are using. Your help is great! Thank you! Keep up the good work. Well done!

+Elizabeth Hansen Thank you SO much for the feedback! It really helps me when making the videos! Any new project always has a learning curve, so practice practice practice! Amazing how something as small as a white space can make such a big difference, right?! I love the brush I use, I've had it for years and always recommend it! Thanks again! Let me know if you have anything specific you'd like to see!

Thanks, Kendra! I just ordered the brush today, and can't wait to get it. During practice, I have realized I am a bit heavy-handed, so I am going to try to reduce the amount of pressure I exert when dabbing, and let the water do more of the work. Thanks for being so sweet, and so available. I appreciate you responding to my inquiries. Have a blessed day!

Question: I am very uncertain about how much water to pinch out of the brush. Could you give us some advise on that? Do you pinch out most of the water? Do you lightly pinch? Trying to get the hang of this. Thanks, Kendra. You are a VERY good teacher!

Hi +Elizabeth Hansen ! Great question! You want to slightly pull off just the excess water, almost like you are reshaping the brush, not so much that it's dry. I will make sure to highlight that in my next video for you! Thank you for asking and joining me!

No wonder my flowers looked so stilted! I kept putting the stems all in a row,,,,,,,,,,,not anymore. Thank you.

Hi Kendra! I just got my AI basics and am so excited to get started!
I have a question for you. What's the reason we use markers and not ink pads? So we can add more colors I know, but is that the only reason?
    P.S. LOVE your nails! :-)

Perhaps you mentioned this, and I missed it, but it appears in the video that when dabbing on the water, you generally (though not slavishly) work from the lightest areas/generation to the darkest to maintain the variation in intensity. Is that fairly correct?
