    Thanks George. I had not heard of the Stance until this video! It sounds similar to the Fischer Ranger 96, but maybe a little bit stiffer. Thanks again!

    @TheSkiMonster Great video! I looking to buy the new Stance 96. I'm an athletic hard charging intermediate-advanced skier (6'1 / 190lb). Would you recommend the 182 or 188 length? Worried the bumps / trees might be tricky with the longer length

      @adamjlove1 it sounds like a 182cm would be the way to go based on your priorities of a ski being maneuverable enough to get through the bumps and trees without beating you up. Our staffers around your size skied the Stance 96 in Utah, Jackson Hole and all over the East Coast and prefer the 182cm. Hi. Awesome video bro. Is it possible to do one between the stance 96 and qst 92?

    • @TheSkiMonster
      @TheSkiMonster  7 месяцев назад

      @benjaminpujante8701, Stance 96 is going to be more powerful, stable, and provide better grip than the QST 92. The QST 92 is a great soft snow ski with a playful feel. Even though it’s a more narrow ski than the Stance it doesn’t provide the same level of grip or power but is much better off trail. The QST is more manageable at lower speeds and more maneuverable through technical terrain. Go Stance if you want a wider wasted ski that can tackle a ton of terrain but loves to rip groomers, go QST 92 if home is off trail and you’re looking for softer snow but need a ski that can hang on a groomer on days when the soft snow is hard to find.

    George, what's your opinion 2024 Stance 96 vs Ripstick Black Edition 96? I know stance has the metal but with the new changes for groomers and punch through chop/crud with a little pop I am intrigued with this 2024 stance. I love the Ripstick Black but wish tip was touch stiffer. 5'8 200, 52 yo racer from the 80s out west. Rustler 11 is my pow ski for reference.

      @markfriedman8892, Stance is more damp, less life. Wait for the 2025 Ripstick 96 Black next fall 🤌.

    Hi. Thank you. How would you compare the stance to the dynastar m-pro 99? As versatile?

    • @TheSkiMonster
      @TheSkiMonster  10 месяцев назад +1

      @andrewfuchs8616, M-Pro 99 has a really tapered tip and more tip rocker than that Stance 96 so it's going to pivot easier and will be a little more nimble while still having a stiff tail. M-Pro 99 won't blast through crud as well as the Stance. Both have good grip underfoot but the Stance edges out the Dynastar in overall versatility in a variety of conditions.

    I’m looking to replace my Mindbender 99 (the original model). They are a great ski but weigh a ton so looking for something similar but lighter. These Stance 96 sound great. How would they compare to my K2’s?

    • @TheSkiMonster
      @TheSkiMonster  7 месяцев назад +1

      The new Stance 96 would be a great option. It's lighter and more nimble/versatile than your original Mindbender 99Ti. If you are looking to stick with a ski that has metal some other options would be the Nordica Enforcer 94 or 100, Fischer Ranger 96 or 102, or a Blizzard Rustler 9. If you want a lighter ski that still performs almost as well as a ski with metal take a look at the Elan Ripstick 96 Black. Thanks for your input. Would the Atomic Maverick 95/100 be comparable to this group?

    • @TheSkiMonster
      @TheSkiMonster  7 месяцев назад +1

      @@johnscott8728 Maverick is more playful when compared to Stance and Mantra. Mav is a true all mountain for someone who wants on trail and off trail capabilities equally. Stance and Mantra are better all mountain skis for someone who prioritizes speed, grip, and stability over playfulness off trail.
