Our Catholic Light: Educating the People

When the early missionaries saw the state of poverty in Singapore, they also saw a great need to provide education for the society. They understood that in order for the people to move out of poverty and have doors opened to them, they need to be equipped with greater know-hows. As such, they set up schools to cater to this need.
It is because of the wisdom and courage that they had, that we are able to have a good education today. Let us also be bold and serve the people of Singapore in ways we can, progressing forward as a nation.
