    Wiseman is on that Bagley path where he could be a solid bench big but high level starter hopes are almost gone. Definitely a bust, but not out of the league. Johnny Davis is confusingly bad on the NBA level, he'll prolly get that overseas bag after this contract. I think Zaire Williams could still make a jump to be a sixth man type guy personally but we'll see. Josh is absolutely cooked, even if he were a better player he's damaged goods in a way the league doesn't mess with (what he did was highly confusing and concerning)

      He still has all the tools to succeed, he's just had stiff luck with injuries and having to play as a spot up guy for Zach Lavine, Demar and Vuc his entire career. Here in memphis it has been sad to watch Wiseman's career, it has been destroyed by a lack of development. Penny killed his college career by challenging the NCAA. Then the 'rebuilding' GSW team changed course and he was hurt &/or on the bench for two years. So 4 years into the NBA, he has far less experience than the average G league player, after 2 years on a DOA Pistons team to be disheartened further. Basketball IQ = experience to a large degree, he just hasn't gotten much for his time in the league. I think there's still a chance for him to be a decent utility player, but at this point, never the star he seemed destined to be.

    I've seen players learn new offensive skills. I have never seen some "all of a sudden" learn to play defense. Wiseman is a defensive sieve, and just can't be on the court. He plays 8th grade defense ("I am taller and faster than you, I am.just gonna go up and block your shot"). Any pump fakes gets him to commit a foul. Sad, but true. Offensively, he's Ok at times. He might have had a long career in the 90s. Then again, Shaq and Olajuwan would have abused him, so who knows

    3. I kinda liked Ziaire but there wasn't any room for him on those Grizzlies teams, kinda like you said. I still think he could be a borderline starter, like an Al Foruq Aminu/Demare Carroll. If Ziaire was drafted in the 2nd round, people would be like "ya, he's alright".

    Wiseman - hard to see if he either too stupid to figure it out or doesn't care enough to figure it out. All he needs to do is focus on defense and he has a role in this league for a long time, making more money then he'll ever make after the NBA. I don't know that anyone is telling him that. Just play defense! With that body he can rebound, block shots, and defend well. The offense will come when it does, it should NOT be his focus. Plenty of other guys who can shoot the lights out.
    Who is his agent? Some creepy guy in a plaid blazer and a greasy ponytail and cheap sunglasses? Probably.

    Yikes. Can we not have a nuanced discussion without talking about “giving up” on these young athletes who are probably going through it already?

    Well that's what happens when you draft players on potential or one and done college players or they blow up over a 1/2 year period and to may people in their ears telling them they are ready for the NBA only to realise they are simply not

    Primo can come back, he just picked the worst team to join in the Clippers. A team so deep at SG that he was guaranteed 0 minutes. The charges against him dropped and the details make it pretty obvious he didn't do anything wrong except not wear underwear with his shorts.

    • @UrameshiKun
      @UrameshiKun 5 дней назад +1

      i think he did what he did, it was not really an underwear problem, they probably paid to get this buried in an attempt to save his carreer. He himself said he needed to work on his mental health, someone who is innocent doesnt go around saying stuff like that.

    Why is wiseman on your list He was top 30 in rebounds and grabbed two contested rebounds per game. Scored 7 points a game in 13 minutes per game.Played in 68 games for a total of 1 thousand minutes. Take him off your list. He competed for playing minutes. Won the back up spot.

    You can't go wrong drafting European talents, American players lack of fundamentals is the reason some of this hyped players became busts, if talent like James W. was in Real Madrid, Partizan Belgrade... he would be NBA ready from day one. Being talented is just not enough anymore, it's time for serious changes. Don't be surprised at the and of next season if the NBA first team is all international.

    James Wiseman is another example that javale McGee showed before him that physical attributes don't mean anything. Javale McGee was a one-on-one athletes 7 ft 40 vertical could get down the court while dribbling in 3 steps but he was just missing something important that couldn't allow him to use it.

      majority of the top nba draft picks are black. or overseas white guys. be honest with yourself. i dont know if youre a racist trying to diss young black men or a black guy trying to claim racism. either way its not gonna work
