@Dwane Meighan there aren't many 450s making 80hp. Most big racers are in the 55 to 60hp range because anything over that makes them harder to ride. 80hp would be about impossible to control in the woods
Stock machines are limited on how much power they can make because of regulations, but racers aren't limited to a certain horsepower. Stock 450 quads are only low to mid 40s
I'm sure some classes at certain types of races are limited, but not all racing is limited so saying racers aren't allowed to have more than a certain amount of power isn't true in all cases.
