@Matt Rodgers Matt, it was about 8 hours each way from Denver to Lincoln and back again, with a few stops and roadside construction. I could have gone to SLC, but it's Utah, and it was a month later in November, so you risk snow storms and bad roads. I'm probably going to see them in St Louis this summer. It'll definitely be worth it. Last time I was super nice to security, and they upgraded my floor tickets to VIP and I was 10 feet away from the band. Unbelievable. James might have been drinking but I have never seen him so sentimental as when he sees a 10 year old in the front row. Great tour in general 👌

I was at this concert. My graduation present from my parents. It was so amazing, most of the hits. They had a comedian open who made us shout back “yeahhhhhs” and “oh yeahhhs” like James Hetfield. I’ll never forget it.
Some hours of madness with Metallica through their videos of full concerts is awesome! Last month (April 9th), I lost my younger brother due to epileptical seizure while on his sleep. It was an unexpected death and my world turned upside down. With rock music - especially the songs by Metallica - it helps me recover from the loss of a loved one... My brother is my guardian angel now. 🙏🏻😔

You not only raised a lot of money for rest causes, but we got treated to some kick ass “normalcy” for at least a few hours each week. You probably helped more people than you will ever realize! Fun fact! They didn't play Unforgiven III for an incredible amount of years , then they played it here, exactly a year before the first S&M² show.
