What's up gents? Training discussion begins at 28:21. Everything before that is about butt seggs and chemistry.

Thank you for putting the podcasts on RUclips. I love listening to the podcasts, but always forget about actual iTunes podcasts. Also like seeing everyone in the picture too.

21:35 I had an opportunity to observe the same exact junior undergrad-level computer science course be repeated over the course of several years, and students started having more and more trouble with it starting around 2017 onward. Something happened to undergrad admissions and it's gotten worse.🤔

nice discussion, informative, and yes nuanced lol... as a 66 yr old lifter the message concerning dosage levels has shown me an approach I should be able to practice successfully. thank you for this podcast.

Quickest way I found to reduce my blood pressure and blood glucose was to lose as much fat as possible - 80% diet and 20% training. Totally agree that training is far more volume dependent once past NLP. I’d put myself in the low responder group and getting fatter increased my ability to lift heavier loads, but it essentially gave me pre-diabetes, high cholesterol and high BP. Cutting 35lbs sorted out the health issues and of course it crushed my numbers on the bar. I stopped doing heavy triples, doubles and singles- moved to 5x5 at 70-80% and started making progress again-enjoying my training much more than the previous constant grinding which made things stale.

I like your content very much, but I usually don’t have the time to listen to your entire videos. I’d definitely make time if you produced a shortened/condensed/summary version of your findings.

Having listened to many BBM podcasts, I think it would unfortunately be kind of hard to condense without leaving out important details. I feel for you though, maybe try listening during exercise/driving/leisure when safe.

Re: teacher getting fired. If you look at the emails he sent to students that people used as evidence of his being an asshole worthy of firing, and you understand o-chem, he's essentially saying: you guys clearly cheated, you gave completely nonsensical answers to these questions that imply you either have no idea whatsoever about the content of the class, or you mindlessly copied some answer you found online (or both).
Teaching since covid has seen an incredible level of cheating and low level of effort from students, and failing high percentages of them is very often warranted.
