I enjoy watching lift support. Even if I think my form is “fine” it feels like I get a lot out of these for my own self improvement
Why am I getting addicted to these already? It would be super cool if you modeled the video angle and one of each of the lifts for us. In any case, thanks!
The mini crunch advice inbetween reps on the squat is gold - never heard that one before
Love these! Thank you for taking the time to post them, Jordan!
Great series! Thank you for the form check!
Very helpful, thanks for the video!
This is super helpful Jordan! Love this content from you!
Really enjoy these videos! Lift support is a great name!
Great vid. Very helpful!
This was super helpful!
These are great
Thanks for the form check! Great format too - now I know there’s a hip(s too low) club Im a part of 😅
Also, very impressive grip asymmetry spotting. Wasn’t aware of that, but totally makes sense.
Wonder if my left elbow head of radius not having full ROM of rotation following a trauma is a factor here.
I also deadlift with my supinated hand slightly farther out on the barbell than my pronated hand due to the carrying angle of my female elbows. If I didn't, I would either have one arm too close to my body or one arm too far away.
The carrying angle disappears under load and is not a concern during the deadlift. Would not recommend having the supinated side wider.
Thoroughly enjoying these. Can Austin or Claire do a few also?
This series is algorithm and I very much enjoy algorithm. Thanks for all the algorithm.
I guessed 450. Impressive. Can you recommend like a good rep and RPE for the videos? Like 3@9?
the mini-crunch cue could also work for high-bar/front squat yes? or should it be mini-er for balance and upper back position maintenance?
Where do we reach out for business inquiries?
Are you planning on making your app available for android in the near future?
How is knee Valois corrected besides warm ups with bands, and unilateral leg work?
Would not recommend bands. Usually active cueing works with appropriate loading. Unilateral work may or may not do anything, but I think it’s worth training for most.
Is going down faster to generate a bounce out of the bottom primarily for strength/ powerlifting training? Or is it also good for hypertrophy?
More for strength. Hypertrophy benefits more from a slow eccentric. Although I suppose it probably has uses in hypertrophy, too.
Both!
Haven't seen this guy for awhile, last time i recall seeing him was over at Starting Strength with Rip and the other medical guy who lifts damn well....can someone fill me in on the logic of how an 8-15 rep range (the last vid I saw, the 2nd one, of the deployed guy using a talon grip) would be effective at stimulating a strength adaptation?? I'm a bit confused cuz it seems like the weight would have to be way too light for an adaptaion stimulation, if you were able to lift it 15 times.
Do you think you could lift 60% of your 1-rep max for a set of 15?
@@Jeneric81 I haven't ever entered a lifting meet so I actually have no idea how much my 1 rep max is?
Thanks for the reply but my question is a little different, your 15-rep, 3-set max necessarily must be so much lighter than your 5-rep, 3-set max (or, OK, the amount of weight you lift for 15reps is a lower percentage of your 1-rep max than a 5_rep set is as a percentage of your 1-rep max), that, even if you could regularly increase it XX pounds (weekly, every workout, monthly; whatever), I don't understand how/why that would be more useful in generating a training adaptation than a lower rep range.
I get it, everyone has their systems, unfortunately I was given the ten-rep pyramid training system in my high-school weightlifting class, our high-school wrestling coach had us do arm raises with small plates in our hands (who knows why!?), I'm just wondering why 15 reps is proposed here, because TBH with the benefit of the Internet now to research information (as opposed to my coaches in the late 90s/early 00's) it sounds a little ludicrous to be proposing 15rep ranges in order to stimulate a training response!!
Comment for the algorithm
What do you think about Jason Blaha living in section8?
I don’t have an opinion about it, but hope he’s doing okay.
@@BarbellMedicine I agree, I'm trying to get a copy of his program: Porc Mode Training-Gahs edition.

Lift support is a great name for this but if you’re looking for suggestions perhaps call it “Athletic Support”?
Then you would be an athletic supporter… wait, don’t do that…
Thanks for all your advice!
