Love the hack with the carabiner connected to the before the ball. The amount of times i bang those is ridiculous. i will try this next time for sure!
My shoulder days have been getting stale. Thanks for the new approaches.
I think you are the best trainer for a bodybuilder that I have seen on RUclips and I've seen a lot.
You incorporate biomechanics in your workouts which I am a huge believer in, however I don't agree with all biomechanics teachings, for example, I dont believe incline presses are useless and dont work upper pecs per Doug Brignole but most biomechanics instruction I do believe as it just makes sense to me and the way you explain everything shows me you know more than most trainers and your channel is a how to become Mr. Olympia.
Thank You for teaching, I'm sure you have changed thousands of careers and lives.
Thank you! And I never said that incline are useless, or don’t work upper pecs.
@@HypertrophyCoach
Oh, I know, and that is one reason I follow you so much, you know Biomechanics but you dont go to extremes like Doug Brignole thinking inclines are useless for upper pecs or pecs in general.
I agree with you and not Doug on that.
I saw Doug and believe his teachings and then I found your channel and thought, now this man believes like I do plus you have taught me a lot.
@@bobbyhunt3009why does doug say biomechanics interfere with incline for Clavicular pecs?
man i am a big fan now-- ive been working out since i was a child and am now 30. i played football/track my entier life and all of your workouts seem so unique and more detailed than the regular. love the detail and thought that goes into these workouts
🙏🙏🙏
Your videos are awesome! Always detailed explanations that really bring the muscle and movement to life. Thank you!
Great video brother glad that you are posting again !!!
Great content as usual! Cant say enough how phenomenal this lying cable movement feels and HITS my side delts. Much appreciated HC
🙏
I really look forward to your vids. Chalked full of so much info with the why behind everything and I love the variety offered to mix up my programming. 🙏🏻
Holy crap he shrunk!!! Hope he’s healthy and well
That’s the point of the shrinking. Dad/cardio mode full-force 🫡
@@HypertrophyCoach glad you’re doing well!! Could you tell me what the best height would be to set the cables for the laterals please
@@HypertrophyCoach will you ever do a video about your cardio/downsizing routine for people that are switching gears and want to focus on health vs. size?
Thank you so much for this, Joe! 🫡
two awesome built physiques, what a treat
I'm a personal trainer, and I would like to say Thank You.👍👍👑💪💪💪
Grateful to be able to help!
Glad I came across your site. Thank you for sharing your knowledge since
I lack rear delts well shoulders period. Love how you take your time to clearly explain the process. ❤
Thank you for more tips
Pick one exercice you feel the most
And reach out failure on every single set
Do Boxing too
And train shoulders twice per week
Eat well sleep well
You will get maximum results as natty
What I wouldn’t give to get a shoulder or back day in with Joe. I know the knowledge I’d leave with would help me take my physique to another level. Same level as Hany Rambod in my humble opinion. My two bucket list coaches.
How much steroids those dudes taking?
One of the best in the bizzneez 💪
I do that cable exercise for rear delts, and like you said “think wide” at the start, I realised that if I pretend I’m sliding my hands along a straight bar and sort pull out to the side, rather than arcing them back in a circular motion, it hits the rear delts a lot more!

🙏
What do you think about doing rear delts first on a back day? Would it take away from your upper back movements? Appreciate these videos and knowledge 🙏
Thanks. I’ve never seen this approach done before. My next Delt’s day will be different than usual.
I’m a member, a paid subscriber to the Hypertrophy coach and app. Following the workout and diet. Now I woke up Sunday morning, Easter, opened the app, and it doesn’t recognize me anymore as a paid subscriber. My credit card statement says that I am. So, I guess I get a free day with food, eating sensibility of course. I hope that this is resolved soon and hope that this doesn’t happen often, since I’ve been subscribed for just a week now,
Sorry about that! Please email me personally at hypertrophycoach@gmail.com and I’ll make sure support figures this out asap! Technology does not always cooperate, but definitely not acceptable, and we’ll get this resolved quickly.
Good workout. The test was just pouring out of them half way through.
Testosterone in high dosages on women really is something
Hey Joe Insane shoulder workout man , I've tried it and I loved it so much
Keep up the good work brother 🔥🔥🔥💪☝
Awesome tips on delts. Also them girls are awesome athletes!
How do you minimise traps in the rear delt exercises?
Thank you for the rear delt tips. I never felt it but kept on trying it in that smart dumb dumb variation cause people always said it was the best for rear delts. I always preferred my elbows high. Thanks for the confidence to keep my elbows high.
Cant wait to use some of these movements in my next meso
I'm trying to find your shoulder finisher sequence. I thought it was a short video, but I don't see it anywhere. Can anyone help?
Your videos are just amazing❤❤❤
Thank you so much 😀
Step 1: JUICE UP
Sure but you still need to work
@@jatochgaatjeniksaan3307 Sure, but you still need Step 1. That is the fastest way for Delts and Traps by far. You honestly don't even really have to do much work on them specifically. Just normal compounds + shoulder raises and on gear they grow fast as F.
If you do make a entire shoulder day then thats when they get to be basketballs.
I hear manly voices....
My shoulders hurt just watching, but I'm here for it! 💪😅👍
You're also giving me reasons to try to record my rear delts contracting **at different heights,** cuz that will probably be a game changer. Isn't it the same thing I did for chest, but smaller? 🤔 Tyvm
Thank you!!
Great instruction. This is the type of information we need.
Those ladies🫠😍wow👍
Beautiful workout
The GOAT is back!!
How do you usually warm up for shoulders? I usually just do banded shoulder “dislocations..” and still my shoulder click towards the bottom portion of lateral raises
Can for sure. I like doing some isolated internal/external rotation, scap circles, arm circles. Anything contraction/motion based is great.
Sweet! Thank you!
And if side delts are a weak point, is there another exercise you recommend or just add sets to the first exercise??
Best in the world.
I started doing the cable sode lateral unilateral
Real hack for the carabiner mess
Great video
First exercise was nothing but lateral raises. You can also do this with upside down.
Rear delts prioritized, smart stuff. People were jerking those presses for decades… yet, side delts in the end. I’d go otherwise, -99% of people have some development in front delts and almost none in the side ones.
Goat
🙏🙏
A lot of knowledge 📝
Damn! These "women" gotta deeper sounding voice than i do lol #roids
Joe is that The Last Ronin on your door? Looks sick. If it is they just announced r-rated movie is being made. Question on the first exercise please. If we was to do this standing with dumbbell or cables would we still follow the same range of motion where its like Y and past head height or does the range of motion change with standing? Thanks for all the tips its appreciated. - Nik
This is the only issue with my garage gym, we don’t have a cable machine 😢
Acorn squash!! That’s what rear delts resemble!
I am doing algorithm thing for Joe❤
I’m thankful for it! 🙏
Great video.
Thanks!
Is the blue one a girl or a boy?
That's what ridiculous levels of synthesised testosterone does to women. Don't mess with nature people.
neither
How do you get that ginormous Bean?
Love you papa Joe
Blonde chick is jacked
can you please provide me a workout plan for 5 days a week with all the execise
Absolutely! Join my app 👊
It’s crazy how pump their shoulders are after the workout lol
3 strong handsome dudes
May I have their instagram ? also what does the matching tattoo represent? (The red ink)
Are they ifbb pros? Or competing? I don't know these women. Their physiques are amazing. Who are they?
Those drawings on two different athletes was amazing showing the diffferences in which plane of motion is best for an individual. Can you do one on the infraspinatus, teres minor and teres major? Thank you. This content is a 💎

❤for🇮🇳 coach💪😊
will Tiffany and Michelle be back on?
Yup! At some point for sure.
isnt putting the cables higher making it more for front delts even tho u go to the side?
Nope
How would a Y-raise differ from this lateral raise motion?
Very similar. This one will keep you more still/braced. And also more “load” (joint torque) at the bottom/stretched, and less at the top.
I thought ppl like the more flared out shoulders when overhead pressing in order to get more side delt stimulation
Nope
What's the name of the blond girl? Her back is amazing. Thank you for the video.

@@toddjohnson5176 well yeah... I didn't think she was natural, she just has super awesome delts 🙂
What happened to your comeback video series? How is your health and recovery from the sickness you had?
I’ll do an update at some point. Feeling 90% better 👍
@@HypertrophyCoach just checking man. Lots of us care about you.
Just go hard
👍
Lol
Is there a reason why you never go for a full stretch, like crossing the body for a full rear delt stretch or behind the back for a full medial delt stretch?
This is it. More motion of the upper arm would come from the scapula moving, not the GH joint.
@@HypertrophyCoach oh, dang, you're right, it just scap movement. Thank you for responding.
3 sets of lateral raises once a week should do it. report back in 2 years.
and by the looks of it, 250mg of test once every 5 days.
Any tips for doing the cable variation with just a single cable pulley? The lying lateral raise looks awesome. Possible or just stick with 1 arm cable laterals/dumbbell laterals?
Sure. Just stand next to the stack, cable/stack braced with the non-moving side, cable at hand height when at the start.
@@HypertrophyCoachAwesome, will give it a shot. Thanks!
I use two separate lengths of chain connected together with a carabiner at the cable and attach cuffs at the other end. Not quite as good but does the job
@@maleficus6186 Ya know, I basically do that for leg curls on my my row cable. Can't believe I didnt think about doing that same thing for these. Thanks for the idea!
With the lying laterals you want to start high and end in a lower position? Could you use handles? In the past wasn't it more of a lateral motion?
I discuss the different height options, and what they bring to the table in detail during the video
Quite literally discussed this in great detail if you actually watch the video before commenting
@@kane6529 No help.
@@kane6529 Great deal means different to you and me. Next time trying being a little nicer. I watched the video.

You must have a Spanish channel mr
What’s the rep range Joe
Mostly 6-10. And a couple sets of 20 when I miss judged their weight 😅
@@HypertrophyCoach Cheers Joe much appreciated
What happened to all his size ?
I stopped competing in 2018. Have been trying to lose weight since. Be healthier and more athletic for my kids. I think I’ll likely come back up another 5-10lbs tho. Find that healthy medium where I’m healthy and like the way I look still.
what a fuck immence blonde muscled good coach impressive training
🤜🤛
I'm so glad the "45 degree is best for rear delts" bullshit stayed on Tiktok
You didn't make the girls say one word...why would you do that?
WTF!?🤨
The girl in blue is what dr mike israetel would look like as a female
So he is showing her how to get basketball shoulders using these exercises while she already has the basketball shoulders. In other words, whatever she was doing before these exercises, it was working. I want to know what she did lol

What I don’t get is the purpose of these comments
Because people obviously have eyes and obviously observe with their eyes what they see in front of them, so they're just... stating the obvious maybe??? 🤷♀️
