No way that I’d ever think you could convince Austin to do this 😂 next up is his full day of eating video
Dude, I'm dying to see what a robot like Austin eats during a day. I bet he's like the "fish and a rice cake" guy.
Can't wait for the Lentil King special
i would make an annual celebration day on the day austin does an full day of eating
Austin is my favorite youtube lifestyle-vlog type of dude. glad he convinced u to join, Jordan
😂
12:41 Austin the ultimate hype man
Nice to see the boys pushing each other
Love these mic'ed up Jordan! Thank you for taking the time to film and edit them!
My favourite Bromance
I like to imagine that they talk about the studies they've cited and the analogies they've used in the third person plural during their normal gym conversations even when the camera is not rolling.
Love me some evidence based nerds.
Awesome video. You guys are looking really strong. Now if you want to take it to the next level, try adding in some reverse bands to the leg extensions to really feel that eccentric load in both directions. You could also think about switching up the programming. Not sure if you've heard of the 5/3/1 program but it works for sooooo many people. Other than that, great job.
This is a joke, right?
Ahahahaha
@@MiSTERNiG1 I think the 5/3/1 bit gave it awy.
"eccentric load in both directions" 😍
@@rorybray1790 that muscle confusion
Two great men 🤝🏿 Love it.
Keep Austin coming
It is terrifying how much stronger than me these guys are.
Really enjoying these videos, please keep them up!
Dr B and Dr F in the house.
Do more of these kinds of videos! Thanks guys!
I'm spending my friday night watching this 😂 Keep the good content coming guys. ❤
2 years until the next vlog of training together, damn that's harsh..
Yes! Love this! Gonna try to get in a similar workout today 💪🏼
Mogging the whole gym, strength and physique wise💪
Thanks for posting the workout
The mic’d up videos are awesome
We need more of this! Possibly with other bbm coaches
This was just delightful
This is the perfect video to watch while warning up for deadlift
That was fun to see. I'm so thankful I have a garage gym.
addicted to these videos
keep up the good work boys
'It's how you assert dominance' - love how dry Austin is 😂
Content gold.
More content like this - explaining the why behind the what - good stuff
Awesome video
"Austin and Jordan max out on the pendulum squat" has got to be a thing. Obviously you guys usually keep reps in the tank but it's such a fun machine to just push yourself on.
Love this
It's unusual to see people getting along ...... lol I enjoyed the video
I was just about to ask where these went!
More content on conditioning is a great idea!
looks like a pretty good gym, and the clientele look pretty clued in and putting in real work
More conditioning content. I'd like to see how you guys fit it in your routine.
Who’s next? Claire, Leah, Alan, Tom … ? I’m here for more BBM crew lifting Vlogs
Would love to see Jordan and Claire
Yes, please some (more?) conditioning content as well. Shalom.
Dr. Baraki!! where did you train while you were at William Beaumont?
Post more lifting videos!!
I love throwing down bumper plates
I have a home gym and this was awesome to have on, felt like I was working out with the boys (the ones that lift, not the influencer kind lol)
Is high bar or low bar more superior? For strength, muscle/hypertrophy,
Love the training VLOG guys. What shoes are you both lifting in. Looks like metcons and… what’s Dr Baraki wearing?
Slides probably whahah
A friend from high-school is/ was a bar tender At noble experiment. We're both from fresno. Small planet
yea
What gym was this?
sets of 8 with that weight is impressive
Knew it was a matter of time before they ripped the music playlist 😂
next vlog pls make austin do pendulum
everything you put plates on weighs 45
7:40 a lot of "dropping the weight" even though 5 mins prior we were shit talking some random gym goer. Good stuff.
Great content! I noticed that you guys don't sweat too much during your workouts. I absolute pour sweat when I lift heavy, moreso than anyone else in the gym. Is this weird?
You're probably just lacking in the cardio realm.
I'm equally guilty of this, i really should do more GPP :)
I'm glad you pointed this out, I hardly ever sweat either and I wondered if I'm just going too easy lol. But I am well conditioned. I think you might still have some runway in the cardio realm
Benny probably didn't pull 1015, because apparently those weights were suspect. Everyone at that meet was hitting PRs way above their normal range and the weights weren't calibrated.
“I miss Obama” socks vibing out.
*Jack Nicholson nodding gif*
1st minute in and Jordan already complainin' @5:33 proceeds to drop weight loudly 😅
Neither of us dropped, e.g. let go of the bar before it touched the ground, any deadlifts. I will die on this hill lol
@@BarbellMedicine ah ok i missunderstood. You meant dropped the weights from standing. Yeah That seems dangerous and excessively loud XD
Re - people ragging on them for ragging on deadlift dropping - ruclips.net/user/clipUgkxZJyy57Hh_r6izo5GFsghi2FiS35uZWk9 not often I agree with the guy but he got a point 😂
I hope the guy in the background heard them and was doing it on purpose
Fun fact, he was asked to leave the gym for....dropping the weights.
Injustice prevails as usual. Let me guess, you had something to do with it?
@@nattyfatty413 nope, the gym owner did it because…as a well-adjusted human who knows this is a dumb thing to do…you don’t want that happening in your gym. If you’re a deadlift dropper, you should stop.
Maybe that person is working around previous injuries by dropping the bar
Nope; but that’s also not an acceptable reason to drop the bar either.
@@BarbellMedicine injury history isn’t an acceptable reason to modify a lift? Did you ask him what his injury history is?
@@billgoodwin9064 that's not what I said. I said it's not an acceptable reason to drop the bar. Plenty of modifications to make that don't involve dropping the barbell. In fact, I can't think of a single non-Olympic WL exercise (or variant) where dropping the barbell would be the preferred approach to managing training with or without injury. Happy to answer any additional burning questions you may have regarding dropping the barbell 😘
@@BarbellMedicine I think your time would be better spent correcting said individual instead of criticizing him in a vlog (apparently unbeknownst to him). Unfortunately, the fear of becoming someone else’s RUclips content is among the myriad reasons people have for being unable to start and maintain a workout routine.
Thanks for that nuance though!
@@billgoodwin9064 I have told him before about dropping the barbell. While I do not think fear of ending up on someone’s social media in the gym prevents people from exercising, the point is noted. A half dozen or so folks in these comments are big mad about me pointing out dropping your deadlifts is silly. I don’t care- people shouldn’t do it.
Complaining about dropping the bar is not what I wanted to hear in the first 90seconds. Why care, it’s a gym.
Because it bends the bar and cracks the plates when people drop their deadlifts. Don’t do it 😤
@@BarbellMedicine you don’t have bumper plates?
@@blakelikestobench can’t use bumpers when lifting heavy, as you run out of room on the bar.
That was really entertaining, I disliked the video though, because of you guys dropping deadlifts, obv.
The appropriate level of saltiness.
I love the content. But Jordan complaining about someone dropping weights, then both immediately slamming weights on 2 & 3 plates… I get it’s warm up and fast moving but can’t call the kettle black when your making tea.
That's a lot different than dropping your deadlift from mid thigh
I love the sounds of the weight room! Clanging and banging baby!!! haha I've never understood being so sensitive to it or bothered by it.
We aren’t dropping the weights whereas the other gentleman was dropping the bar from knee height. These are not the same things with respect to the equipment. I don’t care about the noise either way, but people who drop their deadlifts are the only eclipsed in douchebaggery by people who don’t re rack their weights in
@@BarbellMedicine what do when your gym is full of people who don’t re rack
@@OMAR-vk9pi complain about it on RUclips, obviously 🤝
Great vid, nice to play in the background when working out.
On a side note, the amount of plebs who think setting the bar down normally during your set on a deadlift as Jordan, Austin did is the same as carelessly dropping it from mid thigh, have never touched a woman since birth let alone a barbell.
🤣
