    Agree with Dakota, would definitely keep this sort of long-format training video. I would suggest throwing in guests from time to time to train with you, similar to what Mike Israetel, Larry Wheels, Bradley Martyn, etc does. They all have found really good success with long format training videos. There's also the added entertainment/humor effect when you're in between sets, or can opt for more educational pearls in between sets too. Just my two cents.

    I think it’ll get more natural as you do these more. I also think it would be really cool to have more of the BBM crew do a session for a video.
    Also, a couple questions for the next one… why don’t you try to gain some weight during this body building block? Whats planned after this block for training? Ever taking a dip back into strongman?

    You seem uncomfortable having the mic on, but it does leave potential for more “real training” insights that might be useful. Maybe prepped questions will help bridge that.

    I enjoyed this because it felt very natural. It felt like I came to the gym with you. My only suggestion is to throw your training plan for the workout up prior to rolling into it, for no other reason than I would like to know lol. Long-format is good for this, IMO. It does a lot to relax and calm your viewers/followers when they can see you doing all the weird things and making all the weird sounds that we all do. BBM does great work for reducing the mental barriers to entry, but being able to see it "unscripted," so to speak, is good.

    Hanging out with you is nice! You’re right, your counting is atrocious 😂 but the out loud self-coaching is cute! Explaining why you’ve chosen (I’m assuming you’re programming this for yourself?), particular exercises is interesting from a coaching and programming perspective so more on that would be good. If you don't like doing the training vlogs this way, maybe you can voice over your clips rather than talking during your training *or* talk through any points you wanted to make / answer any questions you wanted to after you finish the training - just some ideas. In any case, whatever you choose, I'm here for it - great to see another training vlog!

Q: When moving exercises around will putting exercises to the back of the line impact the RPE because I'm more tired by the end of the session?
    I would change the bleeps to a more pleasing sound though, like elevator music beacuse its so much louder than the rest of the video and hurts my ears(headset).

    • @grimtrigg3r
      @grimtrigg3r Год назад

      I'm partial to chest supported dumbell rows. You can go pretty heavy and get a nice stretch. Stand backwards on an Incline bench and pull both dumbells up from the floor.

    • @cisrael468
      @cisrael468 Год назад

      I think ROM is gonna be bigger with dumbells but total stimulus for your whole back (erectors, traps etc) may be better with barbell. either way rows aren't the ideal movement for lats (compared to vertical pulling) so I don't use lat stretch to rate them, although a good stretch isn't a bad thing haha

    • @robbmacdonald9164
      @robbmacdonald9164 Год назад

    • @SomethingWylde
