- On tour 7 month's, Sammy Hagar and Eddie Van Halen spend an hour on the Radio in New York City. New York's Pure Rock Q104.3 August 1995.
They just finished taping the David Letterman Show. They played songs and during a bumper leading into a commercial break the Letterman Band with Paul Shaffer played Jump. Eddie and Sammy play along through he break and into the next segment. Nice words about David Letterman.
Eddie feels great about his hip. Alex in a neck brace now, Stories about Alex Van Halen falling out of a tree house, Water Skiing accident, and getting hurt picking up his kid.
They say the VH show are better than ever, Changing set lists every night. Eddie 10 months sober.
Sammy wants to light pop after discussing Amsterdam, Sammy feels like he's high.

Not Enough is easily my most listened to song on Balance. They didn't write ballads very often but they smashed it out the park with that one. Simply beautiful.

I was at all of those Jones Beach shows. They played GREAT. Eddie was an absolute beast. Some great, great GREAT memories.
