Great American Bash was the premiere WCW event. Eric Bishoff talks further of WCW, Vampiro and Sting get theatrical and Shane Douglas reveals why he feuds with Ric Flair.
Bishoff: Change at WCW ratings expected to go UP. Want to gain complete confidence of the TV audience. TV company did to give WCW ultimatum to raise ratings. They wanted a cooperation in building a wrestling brand. Put a quality and interesting product on the air. Younger talent needed to be highlighted. Create new story lines. build the future of wresting.
Younger guys will live up to the challenge. Eric and Vince Russo promise to work hard and turn it around. It won't happen over night. A star in today's wrestling world is a draw, makes money and brings in revenue. It takes a long time to build a brand and develop.
Stars: Ric Flair is a cockroach. he'll be around as long as he wants to be. He is a Star.

New Blood Vs. The Millionaires Club: Began with cemetery match Vampiro and Sting a WCW classic. Very visual movie feel. Vampiro comes from under the ring and surprises Sting at various matches. Vampiro glad he didn't leave WCW for WWF. It's a great opportunity here.
Vampiro loves Bishoff and Russo. He's healthy. Trained in Mexico,Loves Lucha style, 40 minutes matches are normal. Needs more work to get to championship headlining status. Some guys are LAZY...Loves Sting. Vampiro is in makeup 24/7 loves his wife and band mates.
Shane Douglas back on Piledriver, He's up for job with WCW. Loves his current spot. His next match is the WALL. Loves to knock Ric Flair on his ass. He recalls why and how is feud with Flair began. He was disrespected as a young man seeking advice, Ric lied about watching his matches and Shane made up a few moves and ask if Ric liked them.....Well Ric said YES even though Shane made the moves up.....Ric's generation does not respect younger guys.
Shane wants tolerant more, more from younger and older guys. Wants to be smarter and save money, stay in shape, retire early.
