I always Imagined Valhalla to be sounding more like a Happy band of drunkard yelling, singing and growling their joy towards the battles they've fought, and the ones yet to come.
I'd imagine it so too. Valhalla is that part of the soul that takes pleasure in the spirituality of struggle, violence and death. It's a dark place, an eerie breeze of pain, anger, sadness, joy and pleasure all joined in a chilling harmony.. Being a norweigan I've heard this type of music all my life.
