From Wikipedia:
"Whitestone is an upper-middle-class to upper-class residential neighborhood in the northernmost part of the New York City borough of Queens. The neighborhood proper is located between the East River to the north; College Point and Whitestone Expressway to the west; Flushing and 25th Avenue to the south; and Bayside and Francis Lewis Boulevard to the east.
Whitestone contains the subsection of Malba, which is bounded to the north by the East River, to the east by the Whitestone Expressway, to the south by 14th Avenue, and to the west by 138th Street. Malba was cited in a New York Times article as one of the few "elite enclaves" of Queens.

I grew up in Whitstone, loved it. I recognize everything you showed. Even went to 194
I lived my youth in whitestone 1950 through 94 .thanks for the walk through.Great place to grow up.I was a fireman in whitestone.
Thanks for the nice tour ActionKid! I grew up in Whitestone in the 60’s. It was and still is a really serene area in Queens. Of course the price of real estate there has skyrocketed since living there, but I still like it. I lived East of where you were, on Utopia Pkwy and 14th Rd. Watched them build the Throgs Neck Bridge.
I was utopia and 24th Rd 👋💜
Whitestone is a very nice neighborhood. Thanks for showing us.
I grew up here in Flushing/Whitestone, it’s a beautiful, quiet, and safe neighborhood ❤️
Yes it is - hello from Joe Nania -
This guy is the hero nyc needs
I've always found whitestone to be a very pleasant area, had friends there in the 60's. Suburbs in the city.
I actually enjoyed walking through Whitestone with this narrator. It was like walking there myself. I have never been to Whitestone. But it’s a very typical Queens area. I live on Long Island. But there are so many towns I haven’t seen. Thank you.
I grew up and spent the majority of my life in Whitestone. I lived in the house on the left at 20:10. Feeling very nostalgic now. Thanks for the video.
I use to live on 150th and 21st ave 🥳
when you said flushing it reminded me of The Nanny =) I love that show lol
😁
Very informative video really enjoyed seeing this area.
Thank you for showing this video Action Kid!
Thank you.
You’re welcome!
Another epic NYC adventure video from the best youtuber ever
Another wonderful video! Thank you, ActionKid! ❤️
Loved this! So interesting seeing all the houses. I did not get a chance to visit the suburbs when in NY. Thank you so much!
Queens isn't a suburb it's one of the 5 boroughs of NYC just like Manhattan is.
@@KeyserSoze23 Apologies...being from Australia, I have never heard of the word boroughs....but thank you...was a great video regardless.
@@valentinav9500 No worries. We live and learn.
Valentina I grew up in Whitestone and even though it is part of New York City people generally refer to it as a suburb due to the fact that you don't really feel like your in the city. It does have a "suburban feel" to it. Definitely a lot more elbow room and a great place to raise a family. I miss the "old neighborhood" and I go back as often as I can.
Bravo Action Kid ! The beginning of Whitestone is similar to the Packer Park section of South PHILADELPHIA, a predominately Italian-American neighborhood. You will find that the fruit trees are fig tree which many grow in addition to tomato plants. The statute was the Blessed Virgin Mary. Again, I enjoyed the tour
Thank you 😊
Some really nice pigeon coops too. Concord grapes my fav🗽🗽🗽
Amazing video a part of my family is living in Whitestone. I hope to see these streets in real soon. Thank you for the upload.
Thanks for the awesome tour. Greeting from Ubud, Bali.
Whitestone is a very nice place for living . I see a lot of nice houses
over there .
Thanks ActionKid ... love walking around Whitestone!
Perfect!! Coffee and action kid!! You always brighten my day!! History was very interesting as well as the neighborhood's!! Thank you!!😁😀💙💜
Love the way you hold the camera on a nice position
Thank you!
The first church was really beautiful. Nice walk in Queens, very good narration, hope your videos will be on DVD because we love them. No problem for the end, it's a long walk anyway. Wish you the best for your hard work 👍 What a shame people don't even know Queens or Bklyn or Bronx etc.. they are missing a lot of Nyc. Did you rest afterwards ? 👍👍
Yep, there’s so much more to New York than Manhattan. I had a nice rest and a delicious meal after 😉
Happy beginning of Fall AK, a great interesting job well done as usual.💖
Your videos never fail to amaze me.
So many beautiful homes and churches in one relatively small area and so quiet.
Must be nice to see around that area at Christmas time.
Thank you for sharing yet another surprise fantastic quality video.
It’s truly stunning during Christmas time!
Thanks Action Kid! It was nice to see my old neighborhood again! By the way towards the end you missed Cherry Valley Deli (blue awning) on the corner of 150th and 13th. The greatest heroes in the world and a definite Whitestone treasure. Next time stop there for lunch, you won't regret it!
Excellent! I’ll have to check it out.
@@williamtheconqueror9503 I lived across the street from Doobie's Park (located by 20th Avenue and the Expressway). Played stickball, wife ball, 2 hand touch football, etc. Great park
it's beautiful thank you , well done .
That was fun. I'm looking forward to the 100,000th subscriber celebration!
Thanks! I can’t wait for the day too!

I lived in Whitestone from 1960-1970. Beautiful place to live and go to school. I lived on 18th Av off 150th St.

Looks like a nice place to live!
That was a very enjoyable walk.
Very beautiful and peaceful!
Thank you❤❤❤
Nice one. I remember watching Coming To America movie where they were supposedly in Queens.
Aloha from Texas,
Dr. Liam Stone, D.D., Ph.D., N.D.
Did they film in this area? I didnt reconize it
Ps this is technically Queens
Nice. Very close to my hood.
I like the NAILS shop, there must be specialists for Everything in a big market like NY.
Even when I lived in Flushing back in the day, Whitestone was always an expensive area to live.
Thank u for the tour x
Very nice homes :)
Thanks Kid , my hometown🎈
Great walk as always...☺☺☺
OMG, I'm actually going to been there tomorrow (thursday)!
really nice!!!
bonjour actionkid merci pour cette super vidéo 👍👍👍👍

Hello AK. For a split second thought you were crossing into Canada.
I Love it!!
Thank you for a look at a place I’ve never been to before. Stay warm. Will you tour and walk in the snow? ❄️ ⛄️
Absolutely 😃
ActionKid ❄️⛄️🤗
24:47 May I be permitted to share a smile with your overseas audience at your definition of 'ancient'?... The European city I live in has a cathedral that commenced building in 1096 and was completed between 1121 and 1145. I imagine that viewers on other continents daily live side by side with buildings far older than that! I've heard you comment in other videos about 'old' buildings and the same thought has gone through my mind. USA has quite a history but in global terms is still a young country. (Of course there is a history of the continent before the Union that goes waaay back.)
Sheesh. $2.75 per gallon?? Here in So Cal the price is around $3.90 per. Nice vid, as always.
Lucky you. It's the equivalent of about $6.50 per US gallon here in the UK.
But most of that is tax - and we have universal healthcare, so I suppose it all balances out in the end.
I'll bet you're wishing for the $3.90 per gallon days right now
Excellent video
Looks like the town boomed in the 1940s, practically new for NYC. St Nicholas Church was rebuilt in 1968 but in the old Art Deco style.
Post WWII it boomed. I had an aunt and uncle there. Nice area
That's my school and church. Miss St.Lukes. 🎈
Excellent !!!
Adorei o video!
At 24:37 there you are at St.Lukes where I went to school - - Directly across cross from St . Lukes was once a nursery for plants - - at 26:10 - and a little bit before - you see the vacant lot - there were houses there many years ago - All now are new different homes and are unique - and also there were older houses there long ago - -At 36:02 you say this is 150th street - Look on the left as you say it - at the tall light color building on the left - and that is 14 - 07 150 th street Whitestone , New York 11357 - - upstairs I had an apartment there in the summer of 1976 -
12:22 is it a fig tree? my great grandfather had one in his.
It looks like one
Can you do a Seinfeld Reality Tour?
I can try

Sorry, I don’t have the HERO8 Black yet. It’s still new. It’s possible your computer processor can’t handle the GoPro’s HEVC codec. You may need to upgrade or record in a format which your computer can handle.
Can u change the format on a go pro to get better results, thank u action
frm india.... ur vdos are amazing bro
is there any place for rent
Not to sound ignorant but I didn’t know they had houses in New York. 😍
Now you know 😃
There are houses in Long Island, Queens, Brooklyn, Upstate New York. Even some farms.
Take a walk through Brownsville and Queensbridge..pleeaassee
I’ve done both already
@@ActionKid ohh ok my bad I guess I gotta look for it then
Wow!!!

Random fact: 17% of NYPD officers live in Queens.
Interesting fact!
11:25 reminds me of where I live. 😒
i see my house in this vid
Is that a rich Neighbourhood?
Yes, it’s an upper middle class neighborhood
Show Yours Please.From India.
This video made me 10% more white/asian
And to think, in 5000 years all this will be ocean floor.
cracks all in the pavement, disease on all the tree's, dead patches in the grass... not much life force energy in NYC huh? Don't think i could fit in.
oh man! 9 mins in and those sidewalk pavement stones in between the red fence and the trees, don't be surprised if those puppies get blown down come next big storm. my goodness. people don't really pay attention to the details do they? no thought to motorized handicap citizens who need smooth pavement to navigate, kids on bikes, all kinds of hazards and accidents right there. The reality of American's failing infrastructure indeed. San Francisco looks the same. These cities need to be cared for to keep sustaining... oiy. I hope we start caring again.
@@missymoonwillow6545 hilarious 😀
42:06 my uncles house
What a lovely district, although the pavement/sidewalk becomes less maintained as the walk progressed and the housing a little less elite. All those lovely churches show the different denominations, but where are the Jewish synagogues and Islamic mosques - they must be there too. You haven't shown any religious diversity so far.
Looks almost as rotten as the town I live in. Greetings from Germany!
