Bullying is worldwide issue. I never experienced it growing up in the US but looking back, I wish I did something to help those who were bullied. As an adult, I am more aware and will stand up to bullies at work. Personally, these school bullies are a byproduct of their environment at home. Parents should be held accountable for their kids' bullying behaviors.

I witnessed evil and cruel staff bullying with disabled students looks innocent. Group of staff laughing and mistreated with poor students had disabled was upset. I told begging stop threatening and humiliated. Staff told what are your problem and stop. Be ignored. Happened no other witnessed and cctv cameras. Hidden rooms. I was shocked.

Some of us all have stories which we're once victims of bullying, myself included. I once got targeted by a gang of bullies once in my middle school. The primary reason I became a target is that I reported them for smuggling cigarettes into school grounds where they sold it to other kids. I eventually became a punching bag which they'd drag me into an alleyway after school which then they'll beat me and rob me everytime if i had money. One time they even went to the extend of carving my back with a pen knife, mockingly telling me that I'm their "property". It traumatized me I tell you, I could not speak a word of it because of that, and if it weren't for my best friend Jared who realised something was wrong with me i would've been in a more worse situation. Our parents got involved, shortly after much investigation, one student showed up in a deleted video of me being beaten being shared with a caption "this is what happens when some a*****e crossed us". They're expelled soon after. Words cannot describe how much I'm grateful for someone like Jared. Our friendship was deep, but unfortunately, cut short he was diagnosed with stomach cancer, he passed away on Nov, 16, 2018. And as for the bullies, from what I heard, they soon got into trouble for shoplifting, one of them even resorts to lashing at the officer that was detaining them after they were caught. I still have the marks from the pen knife, a harsh reminder of the ordeal of that I experienced from those madmen.

I remember being bullied at school just because I was a little taller and chubby unlike the rest. It didn't really bother me until I saw this happening to a new guy coming from latin-america, I didn't think just lunged forward to them. I got several broken bones after it and expelled but they never bothered us again. Funny thing those bullies have now a family and decent life not being bad people so makes you think is actually society and how kids are not properly teached the values both at home and at school. I would never forget the comparison my teacher said that schools are just the same as prisons both in design and function.

It's usually in junior high in SK. Kids who bully really have nothing better to do and a bunch of psychopaths to go that great length to harm somebody; especially having those victims in a near death experience. We can't fix them, it's just questionable how they're using their time to hurt somebody. They may find it cool but in the future, their image won't be so much.
There was a news of these Korean junior high kids murdering somebody and they just laughed. They joked about it with their classmates and because they were young, they didn't get any consequences. That's why they can get away with it and nobody will bat an eye.

To be honest and unfortunate, I know a lot of individuals who were once bullies in school, which gained them the confidence and authority over others at a young age. This dominant trait rolled over to college, university and then the work force - needless to say, most of them are now tyrants of their respective conglomerates and hold major positions in MNCs. EQ is something gained along the way, which can easily be shown when faced with the public, but internally within the organization, their dominance and leadership (or rather dictatorship) got them to the secured position which they're in.
Bullying is bad, but for the bully - if done correctly, they're on the right path to the brutal world out there.

Kids are kids, and as kids we are cruel, don't lie to yourselves.
What should be happening are teachers and admin should be taking a proactive stance to solve these issues at the local level.
Yes, this need to be discussed nationally and openly, but the sole responsibilty is the school.
And there's always a stigma of bullied kids not speaking out, that's very wrong, they need to speak out and need to be taken seriously.

I think this is the side effect of a culture that pushes people beyond limits with extreme expectations and confines. In SK there are extreme school expectations, beauty standards, achievement expectations and social pressure and a large amount of public shame used to enforce these. These kids lash out like this because the stress is too much (I’m not excusing this behavior but this bullying is far more severe than bullying found in my country and I wonder if it has to do with the culture)

how can bullying be considered as a part of culture. Just imagine, being bullied by fellow student at the junior school level, what kind of mindset they are imposing towards kids - Its the failed education system. Whats the point of being educated without having human value and discipline. I am from India, and if this sort of happens here, students will be punished or dismissed from school.

It happens whenever people gather together, gets affected by peer pressure and starts picking on those who deviate or comes across as weak to make them adjust to the group, to make jokes at their expense or to just be sadistically cruel. I wish nobody get through on what I've been through, but I can say to you people, stay strong, don't let those bullies trample over you over and over again. You need to take a stand sometimes. During my senior high, I was never bullied again. I show those bullies my worth, I prove that I'm way better than them, on whatever it is, whether it's a school subjects, sports, etc. And you know what, those bullies never even dares to bully me ever again. I don't like revenge, I welcome them with open arms. Now I embrace them as my friends, although a part of me still hates them for a little bit, but really, but I don't feel like hating them is gonna makes thing better for me. Idk why most of the teachers were verbally abusive to me but if I have to guess, its because of my race and where I was from (many people from my state were considered "poor"). We absolutely live in a world where we have to fight back to survive. The only solution to bullying is to fight fire with fire.
I had this one customer at my job that argued with me about waiting in line and I told him "The only reason your like that is because nobody stands up to you" I stood up to him that day,

Even the so-called K-pop industry (whome they consider as idols) couldn't influence their own people in a positive way. Inspite of all the negativities like bulliying, body shaming, over the top beauty standards, increasing suicide rates among others, there are people who are still obsessed with South Korea, especially the young generation.

He used to pick on others, he took things like our food we brought from home and used to insult us for no reason. I remember I would cry all the time before going to bed. I always fear to be place with or against him in anything because I was scared of him. I remember that I barely could speak English so he insulted me in Spanish and then insulted me in English. A classmate told me to tell the teachers but I was always too scared thinking it would make it worse.

Just because they wanted wanted to really.Bullies only need the reason that they won’t face consequences and that you’re weaker than them. She could be the prettiest person alive and she’d become a target just because someone wanted to be cruel

I wish i could make you happy and would be your frienda. I would teach you all my skills, spend my time with you, tell you that you are beautiful and make you happy. People are just emotionless these times. Social media made people evil, but maybe a lot of people just are evil themselves. My heart is breaking even while hearing your first sentence. I hope you can forget your past and built up a new life. You can create your own life, you can have an online job or so, you do not need to be dependent on other people today. People can just be horrible. Please dig it somewhere and try to blend all of that out and replace these things by beautiful memories. Your time is now ❤

For his next visit he decided to lose 16kgs😢. Its so sad how they expect everyone to conform to there beauty stardards when everyone is beautiful in there own way.

Within the suffocating borders of the United States, my heart sinks deeper into a pit of despair.
The prevailing conditions here are a relentless assault on the soul, a perpetual state of heartbreaking anguish.
Today, amidst the innocence of a classroom, my elementary brother fell victim to the ruthless onslaught of a mass shooting, robbed of his precious life in a blink of an eye.
My tender three-year-old sibling, so fragile and defenseless, bears the scars of unspeakable child molestation, a victim of unfathomable cruelty that stains their innocence forever.
My American father, burdened by a chronic illness, languishes in the depths of suffering, abandoned by a heartless system that denies him the basic right to healthcare.
Each agonizing day, my American mother is forced to surrender her dignity, compelled to sell her body in the dark abyss of prostitution, sacrificing her spirit just to appease the gnawing hunger of our family.
Cast adrift, we find ourselves homeless, confined to a pitiful existence within the confines of a meager cardboard box, exposed to the merciless elements that etch their icy grip upon our desolate lives.
The biting cold of the unforgiving pavement beneath us serves as a chilling reminder of our insignificance, a cruel reflection of the harsh reality we endure.
Consumed by a paralyzing fear, the specter of potential mass shootings haunts me relentlessly, shattering any semblance of peace or stability, rendering me a prisoner of my own terror.
If only the faint hope of another life existed, I would fervently pray to be born anywhere but here, in the desperate pursuit of an existence that holds even a whisper of promise and respite from this never-ending torment.

But you can’t go around trying to punish adults for being bullies as teenagers, that’s why have the term juvenile. They don’t know any better and it’s the adults in their life at the time that should take responsibility if anyone
