Some of us all have stories which we're once victims of bullying, myself included. I once got targeted by a gang of bullies once in my middle school. The primary reason I became a target is that I reported them for smuggling cigarettes into school grounds where they sold it to other kids. I eventually became a punching bag which they'd drag me into an alleyway after school which then they'll beat me and rob me everytime if i had money. One time they even went to the extend of carving my back with a pen knife, mockingly telling me that I'm their "property". It traumatized me I tell you, I could not speak a word of it because of that, and if it weren't for my best friend Jared who realised something was wrong with me i would've been in a more worse situation. Our parents got involved, shortly after much investigation, one student showed up in a deleted video of me being beaten being shared with a caption "this is what happens when some a*****e crossed us". They're expelled soon after. Words cannot describe how much I'm grateful for someone like Jared. Our friendship was deep, but unfortunately, cut short he was diagnosed with stomach cancer, he passed away on Nov, 16, 2018. And as for the bullies, from what I heard, they soon got into trouble for shoplifting, one of them even resorts to lashing at the officer that was detaining them after they were caught. I still have the marks from the pen knife, a harsh reminder of the ordeal of that I experienced from those madmen.
Adults who are closing an eye and assisting in a coverup should be brought to justice. My 4y/o nephew reported bullying to his teacher and was responded with ‘why do you complain so much’! I’ll never understand why people who can differentiate between right and wrong are still considered “underage” in the eyes of the law. “You’re an adult only when you turn 18” is such bs. People mature way before that.
It's usually in junior high in SK. The way I was bullied was a bit different. The teachers were the one who were verbally abusive to me instead of the students. Idk why most of the teachers were verbally abusive to me but if I have to guess, its because of my race and where I was from (many people from my state were considered "poor"). It has left a scar on my psyche since it caused me to hide my identity. Hope everyone who was bullied has found their peace now
Look everyone hear me out, I was bullied here and there in the beginning of my school years because I was short, I had lots of friends but I didn't look to them to solve my problems, I made sure no bullies got a free one off of me. We absolutely live in a world where we have to fight back to survive. The only solution to bullying is to fight fire with fire. I had this one customer at my job that argued with me about waiting in line and I told him "The only reason your like that is because nobody stands up to you" I stood up to him that day, we all choose our fights wisely too, nowadays people have a gun and it's a risk you take trying to extinguish bullies. ❤🔥 v 🔥
The more we dig into korean culture, more we learn about dark side of their society. Even the so-called K-pop industry (whome they consider as idols) couldn't influence their own people in a positive way. Inspite of all the negativities like bulliying, body shaming, over the top beauty standards, increasing suicide rates among others, there are people who are still obsessed with South Korea, especially the young generation. Lastly, as far as I have noticed none of the South Korean youtubers have never opened up about dark side of their culture.
I feel so fortunate that when i was in Highschool, when my classmates bullied me, it was just name calling and the likes. So mild compared to other kids. I always had my head buried in books and didn't really talked to my classmates hence the name calling. Tho i still don't attend school reunions now when we are in our 40s coz its all about bragging with their jobs, etc. A complete waste of time.
"When there's a problem in India, the minister would first of all say, "No problem"! If that doesn't work, he'll say, "How is it a problem, tell me"! If that also doesn't work, he'll solve the problem by blaming Pakistan, China, Congress etc and everyone's happy. End of problem!" Professor Yan Yuan, South China Morning Post commentator
Bullying is not a worldwide issue. We South asian people never heard it. We heard it 1st from some relatives who stayed in USA and some European countries, and later saw it in Korean drama! That's how we know what is bullying!
This happens everywhere in the world. I still remember when I was in kindergarten there was this big student with his minions who suddenly appear behind my back and pushed me which left a big bruise on my forehead. I can't do anything but cry nobody helped me because he was a huge kid. Then we were all called up and they lied that I fell by myself, I was only 4 y/o at that time I don't know I was very mature I don't want my parents to worry so I just lied as well that I fell while playing at school. I'm already in my 30s now but I can still remember everything. People around me thought I'm a happy strong independent person but they didn't know I became what I am now because of what happened to me in the past.
I was bullied during 5th grade, the boy who bullied me was the reason why I wanted to end my life when I was just 10 years old. He used to pick on others, he took things like our food we brought from home and used to insult us for no reason. I remember I would cry all the time before going to bed. I always fear to be place with or against him in anything because I was scared of him. I remember that I barely could speak English so he insulted me in Spanish and then insulted me in English. A classmate told me to tell the teachers but I was always too scared thinking it would make it worse. Now I’m 16, about to be a junior in high school and regret not telling my parents. To this day I deal with anxiety due to the bullying I suffered as a kid. Definitely something I never forgot because of how scared I used to be.
Bullying is real my niece is been bullying at school 8 grade it’s so sad and she is so depressed I already spoke to de director of school. It’s so real and it’s happening a lots here in the USA
One thing that i failed to understand is *why should bullying be hard to deal with in schools in Korea and other countries where bullying exists most especially in schools for christ sake. Sometimes when a matter is handled lightly what do you expect from the criminals?????? What is that that is failing school administrators in fighting bullying in their schools. Most stories of bullying i hear about come alot from Korea......like why😢????? Why should bullies be handled lightly??????????????????????
I always step up and helped those who was bullied in my schoolwhen I was young. I beat up my sister's bullies and they never touched her again. I learned other girls to stand up when the boys groomed them. I remember one guy that always told nasty stuff to girls in the hallway. He tried that on me once and then never again. After that other girl stood up and made him shut up for the rest of his school time. I have been bullied to, through my entire childhood and it hurts. No one is doing antyhing to stop it. People are watching without stopping them. I never looked the other way when I saw someone else get bullied. And still do. But today I use less violence. Those who not stopping bullies are bullies to. It leaves life long scars on your soul. Don't be a coward. Help them.
Just because they wanted wanted to really.Bullies only need the reason that they won’t face consequences and that you’re weaker than them. She could be the prettiest person alive and she’d become a target just because someone wanted to be cruel
I wish i could make you happy and would be your frienda. I would teach you all my skills, spend my time with you, tell you that you are beautiful and make you happy. People are just emotionless these times. Social media made people evil, but maybe a lot of people just are evil themselves. My heart is breaking even while hearing your first sentence. I hope you can forget your past and built up a new life. You can create your own life, you can have an online job or so, you do not need to be dependent on other people today. People can just be horrible. Please dig it somewhere and try to blend all of that out and replace these things by beautiful memories. Your time is now ❤
With how internet is so widely used now sometimes it is better to take to social media if the legal route fails as in some cases it can be more effective in punishing the person.

Within the suffocating borders of the United States, my heart sinks deeper into a pit of despair. The prevailing conditions here are a relentless assault on the soul, a perpetual state of heartbreaking anguish. Today, amidst the innocence of a classroom, my elementary brother fell victim to the ruthless onslaught of a mass shooting, robbed of his precious life in a blink of an eye. My tender three-year-old sibling, so fragile and defenseless, bears the scars of unspeakable child molestation, a victim of unfathomable cruelty that stains their innocence forever. My American father, burdened by a chronic illness, languishes in the depths of suffering, abandoned by a heartless system that denies him the basic right to healthcare. Each agonizing day, my American mother is forced to surrender her dignity, compelled to sell her body in the dark abyss of prostitution, sacrificing her spirit just to appease the gnawing hunger of our family. Cast adrift, we find ourselves homeless, confined to a pitiful existence within the confines of a meager cardboard box, exposed to the merciless elements that etch their icy grip upon our desolate lives. The biting cold of the unforgiving pavement beneath us serves as a chilling reminder of our insignificance, a cruel reflection of the harsh reality we endure. Consumed by a paralyzing fear, the specter of potential mass shootings haunts me relentlessly, shattering any semblance of peace or stability, rendering me a prisoner of my own terror. If only the faint hope of another life existed, I would fervently pray to be born anywhere but here, in the desperate pursuit of an existence that holds even a whisper of promise and respite from this never-ending torment.
Kids are kids and there will always be bullying. Parents and teachers need to be vigilant and stop it at its source. Rasim , bullying is famous in South korea
I applaud this this, other countries need a Hakpok #MeToo style movement as well.
I had this one customer at my job that argued with me about waiting in line and I told him "The only reason your like that is because nobody stands up to you" I stood up to him that day,
we all choose our fights wisely too, nowadays people have a gun and it's a risk you take trying to extinguish bullies.

@Chris Hardrada
that’s the spirit ‘fight w/ fire’ 🙌🔥🙏
I bet that the bullies were from North Korea 🇰🇵
"When there's a problem in India, the minister would first of all say, "No problem"! If that doesn't work, he'll say, "How is it a problem, tell me"! If that doesn't work, he'll say, "It's just a small problem"! If that also doesn't work, he'll say, "It's not my problem"! If that also doesn't work, he'll solve the problem by blaming Pakistan, China, Congress etc and everyone's happy.
End of problem!"
Professor Yan Yuan, South China Morning Post commentator
But we South Asians don't have problems like bullying on such a large scale, heck I've never heard of anyone who's ever been bullied.
@@faraznaqvi1113 They're they even instituted under guise of military
Bullying is not a worldwide issue. We South asian people never heard it. We heard it 1st from some relatives who stayed in USA and some European countries, and later saw it in Korean drama! That's how we know what is bullying!
where did you live man
Such a beautiful display of community and tradion. I love this series
For the one being bullied, record the bullying incident on a hidden cam and post if on social media for everyone to see. Tag your president.
Children are mirrors of adults who bring them up
bullies aren’t scary, bullies aren’t offensive
they’re pesty irritating creatures that roam this earth 🤡🤡
where’s my pest repellent? 😂
People around me thought I'm a happy strong independent person but they didn't know I became what I am now because of what happened to me in the past.
some idol who helping bullying victim was punished for bullying the bully.. how??? rotten world.
what do you mean , eloborate, i can't understand
It comes down to education of the youths.
thats why south korea movie always showing romantic scene n other to cover real-world events
You obviously didn't watch what's been released lately for dramas
From my experience bullying can be seen from elementary school to high school. it happened everywhere.
I wish I knew what it was about me that made me a target for bullies all throughout elementary and middle school.
For 12 years😢
One thing that i failed to understand is *why should bullying be hard to deal with in schools in Korea and other countries where bullying exists most especially in schools for christ sake.
Sometimes when a matter is handled lightly what do you expect from the criminals??????
What is that that is failing school administrators in fighting bullying in their schools. Most stories of bullying i hear about come alot from Korea......like why😢?????
Why should bullies be handled lightly??????????????????????
She was bullied because her path was great. Kids don't know it; a person can discern this tho.
Bullying is abuse end of!!!!
Kids can be so cruel, they should be consequences to their actions
Help them.
If only bullies could be incarcerated for their heinous sins
they can be, certainly. if there is a will, there is a way
bruh i thought all the manhwa were exagerating
I used to be a victim of bullying too, but not anymore
While there may not be legal 'remedy', it is healing and freeing to speak it.
And it brings awareness to the point.
she is pretty but why she get bullied?
Just because they wanted wanted to really.Bullies only need the reason that they won’t face consequences and that you’re weaker than them. She could be the prettiest person alive and she’d become a target just because someone wanted to be cruel
Bullying has nothing to do with attractiveness, it defies all logic and only those perceived as weaker (mentally, physically, etc.) are targeted.
U are quite weird...when did bullying was only focused on not attractive people💀
My friend’s other friend looks very pretty and beautiful. She was foreign in different school. Bullied was very jealousy. She dies now.

i feel extremely bad for your friend
may she rest 🙏
So saad i Hope She can forget it someday …
I wish i could make you happy and would be your frienda. I would teach you all my skills, spend my time with you, tell you that you are beautiful and make you happy. People are just emotionless these times. Social media made people evil, but maybe a lot of people just are evil themselves. My heart is breaking even while hearing your first sentence. I hope you can forget your past and built up a new life. You can create your own life, you can have an online job or so, you do not need to be dependent on other people today. People can just be horrible. Please dig it somewhere and try to blend all of that out and replace these things by beautiful memories. Your time is now ❤
C'mon, there's also bullying in china
With how internet is so widely used now sometimes it is better to take to social media if the legal route fails as in some cases it can be more effective in punishing the person.
well her bullies got fired from their jobs
Next time go ask captain america
It was due to Consciousness contraction, you need to rebound from it to deal with Negativity.
I remember me going korea in primary school, i am a korean came from Spain, little kids in corea were so racist that they bullied me (including the teachers). Then I moved back in Spain.
I’m so sorry this happened to you ! No one deserves this kind of hate, especially a kid! I don’t know how long it’s been for you but I hope that you’ve had enough time to heal
😢😢😢😢😢......
How many years ago was this?
My sister in law is korean and when she was in korea everyone used to make fun of her short fizzy hair (bob lenght). Even my best friend is korean his family came to south africa when he was 1 year old when he visited korea the koreans used to call him fat and his prefectly normal. For his next visit he decided to lose 16kgs😢. Its so sad how they expect everyone to conform to there beauty stardards when everyone is beautiful in there own way.
Something very wrong in society it this is going on and seems to be escalating . 🌎🥺
the minimum age for jail time should be reduced, I've heard many stories about supposedly korean "kids" like 11-12 doing criminal stuffs, and didn't even repent after not being sentenced to jail, they had no remorse, "kids" these days are very different from back then, the law needs to change
I was bullied at my 23 of age. My roommate filmed me while dressing after a bath and watch the video in my classroom with the boys. I felt like dieing... I have to make a session with a caunselor to easy my pain.
The Glory 👍👍
But work is so hard i feel i can't live here
Just like a Webtoon
U know how they deal with bullies in the U.S.!? THAT'S RIGHT...guns baby!!
Then these type of people bullied us
I live in pretty nice room, but those people are so persistent and viciousness i can hear the sound which is kick the ground, stamp. This room is well made so it can be quite when someone being just don't push feet so hard. But they just try make some noise again and again. Because they hate there neighborhoods.
DOESNT HAPPEN IN THE NORTH!
Bullying is part of Korean culture like Kimchi and Kpop.
The dystopian country of saus kozea
I hope you can fight back
Wealthy families are the bullies towards student's and teacher's, not the under privileged or poor. If i was a student studying in your country, I'd ask my parent's to either Study abroad or home schooled, i wouldn't want to go to any school in China, not ever🤔🤨🙄😤 Comment by Tracy Iraia 🇳🇿🌏🇳🇿 NZ 😎

Just stop
You molested your brother?
sad
I know the meaning of life

Most Koreans hate bullying
Kids are kids and there will always be bullying. Parents and teachers need to be vigilant and stop it at its source. But you can’t go around trying to punish adults for being bullies as teenagers, that’s why have the term juvenile. They don’t know any better and it’s the adults in their life at the time that should take responsibility if anyone
There may always be bullying, but it should never ever go unaddressed
After decades of parenting decay, children are growing as weakling and soft persimmon. "If you cant stand the heat, get out of the kitchen".
