The cat owners are not really good at acting. Plus, the cats are too smart for this: they can feel your temperature, and your pulse

I have to give cats credit here. My neighbours cat alerted me to help it's owner who'd had a sudden heart attack and was laid on her living room floor. The cat had climbed out through an open window, went to the end of her driveway and started meowing incessantly for help. I went to see what all the meowing was about and the cat lead me straight up the driveway to the door. Unfortunately, the owner did not survive and the cat now lives with me.
I wouldve taken in the cat too.
Not to discredit the cat but aren't there dozens of stories of dogs doing the same thing

Last year, I was bringing cat food up for my kitty's breakfast. As I was walking into my room, I fell down these two steps I have in my room. I screamed and dropped the food. Instead of worrying about her breakfast (which is a shock since my cat is obsessed with food and eating) she came over to see if I was okay. I had actually sprained my ankle in the fall, so I couldn't get up. She stayed with me while my mom helped me get into my bed. Rizzo knew I had hurt myself and only started eating after I was safe. I think this proves that, if your cat actually thinks you're hurt or in danger, it will act.
Yep! The fact that maybe some animals (especially the cats) where able to tell that they faked it may indeed by true.

Notice how he looked his owners way and his ears pivoted, he heard his human yell and looked back to see what happened. Even after she stopped yelling, his hears still pivoted which may indicate he was listening for her heartbeat and then attempted to locate danger, knowing she was anxious.
Remember, cats are more subtle than dogs a lot of the time.

Yes they can! I had the ambulance come out for me once, but I didn’t go to the hospital and when I got out of the back of the ambulance and walked into the house, all my cats (I have 5) were watching me from the window and all came running to me when I walked in. They all seemed so concerned and worried about me. They even looked at me like they were worried. They were even meowing at me. They really do love me!❤

You know, I have faked hurting/dying for my drama practice, when I did so, my cat always just sit and stare, or even sleep. But when it is real emergency, she always rushed to help. Like when my grandma slipped and fell on bathroom, she scratched my room's door and meowed loudly to attract my attention (I was using headphone at that time, couldn't hear that my grandma fell) and lead me to where grandma was (luckily it was nothing serious). Or even when I am tired or sick, she would catch something and give it to me (granted, I wouldn't eat a roach or rat, but the feeling is appreciated).

I did this to my cat. We were snuggling on my bed and I pretended to fall. He started pushing his paws into my chest, and then he started to meow-scream. Cats do care, they just know, when it is really danger or suffering. Mine always cheered me when I was crying, she would come and rub against me, even though we had argument before:) Also remember Tara the Cat, who saved toddler from dog attack. I was told about one cat who really cried after her owner, an old lady, died. She was in tears.
Both dogs and cats can worry and care, it depends on what kind of relationship you have, not on who your pet is.

Having briefly studied cat physiology, I know cats are extremely sensitive to changes in air pressure and extremely attentive to danger and illness. It's why they hunt so well. More than likely these cats knew it was fake and were more or less wondering why their human would prefer to be on the floor at that point in time.

Both cats and dogs are different, they are created differently and have different functions and purposes, each have their advantages over the other, and that doesn't mean that one advantage makes them superior over the other. While neuroscientists have pointed out that dogs have more neurons than cats, and so means that they are smarter- according to some; elephants have more neurons than humans. That begs the question, are elephants smarter than humans? Well, I simply don't know.
And btw, I *didn't* even write in the comment above that cats are smarter than dogs. I was referring to the fact that most of the cats in the video can see that they were faking it. So why be so conclusive?

Well, the cats’ reaction is not very strong, but they’re like this in general. It’s difficult to compare. I think the animals may have sensed that it’s fake. Some of the “humans” aren’t good actors :))). I’m pretty sure that in a real situation they would react differently. I also think they don’t know what to do; might be best to train them.

When I got my tonsils out we had been taking care of my brothers cat at the time and it was the only time it ever sat on my lap and followed me around the house. I think he knew how miserable I was.
