Like when my grandma slipped and fell on bathroom, she scratched my room's door and meowed loudly to attract my attention (I was using headphone at that time, couldn't hear that my grandma fell) and lead me to where grandma was (luckily it was nothing serious). Or even when I am tired or sick, she would catch something and give it to me (granted, I wouldn't eat a roach or rat, but the feeling is appreciated).
I have to give cats credit here. My neighbours cat alerted me to help it's owner who'd had a sudden heart attack and was laid on her living room floor. The cat had climbed out through an open window, went to the end of her driveway and started meowing incessantly for help. I went to see what all the meowing was about and the cat lead me straight up the driveway to the door. Unfortunately, the owner did not survive and the cat now lives with me.
The cats can tell you’re still breathing, mine have sniffed me, or sat on my chest to see if I was breathing. since I was breathing they pawed at me before giving up and letting me do my thing; laying on the floor like a goofball.
I think it's been shown they are also sensitive to electro-magnetic waves in life forms so if it's the same they just think it's humans being weird again.
Last year, I was bringing cat food up for my kitty's breakfast. As I was walking into my room, I fell down these two steps I have in my room. I screamed and dropped the food. Having briefly studied cat physiology, I know cats are extremely sensitive to changes in air pressure and extremely attentive to danger and illness. It's why they hunt so well. More than likely these cats knew it was fake and were more or less wondering why their human would prefer to be on the floor at that point in time.

Cats do care. I have 2 cats of my own. I had a severe asthma attack and I didn't have my inhaler on me. It got harder and harder to breathe, both of my cats jumped up and meowed very loudly sticking their paws underneath the door shaking it until my mother came in and helped me.

Yes they can! I had the ambulance come out for me once, but I didn’t go to the hospital and when I got out of the back of the ambulance and walked into the house, all my cats (I have 5) were watching me from the window and all came running to me when I walked in. They all seemed so concerned and worried about me. They even looked at me like they were worried. They were even meowing at me. They really do love me!❤

Well, the cats’ reaction is not very strong, but they’re like this in general. It’s difficult to compare. I think the animals may have sensed that it’s fake. Some of the “humans” aren’t good actors :))). I’m pretty sure that in a real situation they would react differently. I also think they don’t know what to do; might be best to train them.

That begs the question, are elephants smarter than humans? Well, I simply don't know.

KarMa CañQuints I’ve tried getting one and i couldn’t sleep with it, its only mild and i’m good at waking up if i stop breathing and yes i know it’s a risk but i slept half the day without the machine when i did during the night and this went on for a week my school almost expelled me for the classes i miss(strict school district) but got out of it from help of doctors and it seems unbelievable but it happened now i left that school and a lot is better academic wise

Well, the cats’ reaction is not very strong, but they’re like this in general. It’s difficult to compare. I think the animals may have sensed that it’s fake. Some of the “humans” aren’t good actors :))). I’m pretty sure that in a real situation they would react differently. I also think they don’t know what to do; might be best to train them.

My grandma bonded eith the family cat while she was sick. When my grandma passed, my families cat freaked out and jumped on her bed and started meowing frantically. He knew she was gone, and was actually upset. They definitely know when it's real
