- Experience the realism of a Boeing 737 cockpit as we take on the VATSIM network with a real Boeing 737-800 simulator! Join us for a great flight as we navigate the skies of X-Plane with VATSIM ATC guiding our way. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, unforeseen issues beyond anyone's control forced us to disconnect halfway through the flight, leaving our landing dreams up in the air.
In this video, you'll witness the immersive experience of flying a 737 simulator on VATSIM, complete with our best efforts of (some*) checklists and authentic ATC communications. While our landing didn't go as planned, the journey itself was a fantastic experience.
Transitioning from a simulator through a screen to being seated in the real thing is quite overwhelming, especially on the VATSIM Network. It was an absolutely brilliant experience and something we can't wait to do again.

is that Xplane 12 or MSFS?
This simulator uses X-Plane. MSFS just doesn’t have the flexibility for that number of displays and external systems.
wheres the landing?
Unfortunately we couldn’t complete the landing as we had to disconnect half way through the flight. We’ll hopefully be back soon to do a full flight😊
