Hey Buddy. Pretty nice collection of vinyl box sets. I have to agree that The Grateful Dead put out the nicest, best looking sets with tons of attention to detail. That Band set looks awesome as well as the Neil Young box. Thanks for showing them, Glen. Take care. Cheers!
Glen, thanks so much for sharing these vinyl boxes…really cool! So glad to get your opinion on some and see the ‘guts’ as far as books, labels and sleeves. On the Beach is my favorite Neil album too. The Ray Charles and mono Dylan boxes sound really tempting to me after watching this. I have sold off my collections at various times, regret a handful of things, like my old late 80’s Beatles stereo album box. You are lucky to have gotten that mono box when you did! Beautiful live Dead set with that textured rose cover.
Some great sets Glen. I got lucky and got The Beatles, Stones, Kinks, Dylan mono boxes before they got wild money for them. Also nabbed 3 of those 72 'Dead sets.
Great box set collection Glen. Lot of heavyweights included. Dylan, Neil Young. Lennon, Ray. Janis, The Dead, The Stones. Very cool. The Band one looks amazing. The first four John Prine albums is a nice on to own. Plus you saved the best for last. The Beatles one is priceless. Awesome video!!!
Hi Glen!! this was a great video and thanks for showing those amazing boxsets, you really have invested a lot of money in those editions, but it's all worth the effort..... Had an idea you were saving the beatles boxset for last.... cheers and be well
Nice collection of box sets I do have The Beatles, Mono, Stereo box sets so glad to own those. Sorry you sold your record collection twice in the past. I kept most of my vinyl records(at least 90%) that I started buying since the 1970’s. I’ve always been too attached to them I could never let go of them. I continue to collect and I do trade/sell back some lps but the better records I will take to my grave…☮️✌️☮️
Good morning! Wonderful collection of box sets my friend. I had that silly moment where I sold all my collection too. Regret it but have since built it up to a nice collection. No where near your amazing collection of box sets especially. 😊😊❤️❤️🥰🥰
Some good stuff there Glen. Particularly like the Ray Charles set.got rid of my vinyl early 90s. Tempting as is to get back, resisted going back down that rabbit hole since. There is a romanticism of old jazz and blues records that I'd be all over if my heart ever rulled my head. Cheers for now.
I mourn for Mike along with you. All your box sets are great. I did like the remixed Lennon box. Me too, I am not selling my Fab mono LPs for no reason no how!
Yeah that Nez thing was a surprise. If he really knew he didn’t have long then he is a trooper for going on the tour. I’ve been listening to my Monkees comp ever since turning up the volume extra loud whenever it’s a Mike song. Of course the box sets are awesome. The best looking are the dead ones. I think it’s good to acknowledge the misgivings of boxsets especially when talking about hundreds of dollars but sometimes people take it overboard when talking about certain sets. 👍👍❤️❤️
i really want the David bowies five years box set, but its very expensive now. My fav. gotta be Beatles (the singles collection). nothing can go wrong with the Beatles, they arent just music, but a miracle
Looks like some great box sets. I wish I had the Bob Dylan set but the only album I don't have on vinyl is Blonde On Blonde. I only have the John Prine box and The Band box set (Someone talked me into that one which I am glad). What, no Jerry Vale set? Cheers.
Hi Glen, I know you are big fan of Ray Charles also for me he is number one . I love him very much. Maybe you know. I try find CD of Ray Charles with song La Mamma. Originaly this was on lp Renaissance but no CD this album. Maybe this song is on other CD?

I need to have the "Get Back" album on LP. I'm hoping to get that on sale for Boxing Day.
Thanks James..I would love to have that Stones box set but it is quite costly now..The CCR box would be awesome as well..The Beatles sets are amazing..hope you find a Let It Be set for a good price👍👍❤️❤️Glen
@@GlenKellawayfromthebasement The Rolling Stones box set is really special. Because the jackets are very well made, with all of the original artwork and trinkets. I lucked out, and got mine on a "pricing error" for only $179 US. I couldn't believe they actually honored it!
@@GlenKellawayfromthebasement I just got a great warehouse deal on a Like New "Let It Be" LP set. But, the parcel has some damage. probably a dent or something. It's listed as Like New - Sealed, parcel box with some damage. I guess the customer returned it, because they didn't like that the parcel wasn't perfect. I got it for just under $140 CAN. I think I can return it, if I'm not happy. ha! The hardcover book should keep the LP's safe. It arrives on Wed. I'll see what shows up! ha! I think I did well. That's much cheaper than new. Like $85 CAN. cheaper.
@@jameswilson7084 that is a great deal..Hey..you don’t play the box, as long as the records are in good shape.I FIND LOTS OF COOL STUFF IN THOSE WAREHOUSE DEALS..CONGRATS❤️❤️❤️
Glen, would you be interested in the book of Memoirs of Billy Shears? I'm thinking of proposing this to other people so we can discussed it in a series of videos. I think is worth it to do that.
Some high quality entertainment to watch this afternoon and get jealous over all of your cool box sets!
