The support is top notched. These guys go above and beyond to get you up and running. They made an amazing product. It’s so good that I don’t even look at or scoff at all the e-bikes that are made commercially and the price they are charging. Bbshd paired with asi 855 makes your Bbshd bike into a super saiyan.
Very satisfied with my BAC 855 controller from High Voltage. I ended up resetting the controller(frustration) due to having problems with connecting(my fault) to the controller but I was given a full sheet of settings to configure my controller and it has been rock solid ever since! Seriously the extra bits like a housing to mount the controller to the bike and the cover for the motor instead of trying to destroy the original controller to house the new wiring makes the installation a breeze.
Reliability has a price and all things considered, It is a great deal! This Kit is the best of the best. I wholeheartedly recommend, Specilially for those who want to go to a 72v battery. More power across the board with less heat and higher top speed.
Thanks. It really does shine at 72 volts. 52 volts its still a nice boost but the performance jump to 72 volts is significant. It even runs cooler at that voltage as well.
I just came up with a killer idea for your mount... since it uses zip ties, if you had zip ties that had plastic loops molded on to them for various cable routing they would look less like zip ties and also serve the function of helping with brake hose/cable - shift cable routing/securing. Some may use the loops for various wire routing, too, so you might want loops of different sizes molded to the zip ties. I guess when I say molded I mean a ziptie that is constructed with loops on the flat side of the zip ties at the time they are created. The loops would have to be somewhat precisely placed, and placed at different lengths on zip ties for each of the different size bike down tubes they are securing to, but that shouldn't be much of a hurdle to overcome. Maybe I'm overthinking it.
Assuming a mountain bike w 27.5" wheels 2.5"-3" tires rider weight approx 180lbs(Rider/bike/gear weight really just impact how long it takes to get to top speed right?)... what kind of top speed do you think you could pull using this kit?... And how would that compare to the most common off the shelf kits? Havd you seen many people run shimano alfine 8 or 11 speed hubs with this kit,
I don't know anyone who has got an alfine hub to work. They just can't handle the torque. In terms of speeds this video is the HV demo bike with 27.5 inch tires ruclips.net/video/ttVPZBSEW3o/видео.html We have a bit more power and refinement over the other options. Its not huge 500 watts or so. Where we really differ is in the quality of our kit, the control you have over it and the support we offer for it. In terms of my own top speed. I have hit over 80kph on my fatbike. On the flat it will get up to 65kph with ease with a 1:1 single speed gear ratio. Hope that helps but let me know if you have any more questions etc. Cheers
@HighVoltageKits I think mostly about the rider... as long as you're not throttling through shifts. You use quality inner & outer shift cables/replace them before stretch/ wear/fatigue become a factor, and make sure your shifting is always calibrated/set before every ride they can handle it. You may want to service the hub more often, but I find that to be very easy even if it's not just a Shimano gear oil change(I do a partial disassembly, then sonic clean then shimano's special IGH hub grease where necessary, then a bath in Royal Purple synthetic gear oil). There's a company called Pinion that was working on a gearbox that was supposed to hold up to higher torque. I haven't seen anything about it lately. What about a Rolhoff hub? Maybe I'm thinking of standard 1500 -3000w and your kit is pulling a lot more?
The bike seems to be going well looking at the numbers on the screen, I have two bikes that are around the 3 to 4KW range but they are both using hub motors, they are fast but from the videos i've seen I think the Sur Ron is much faster.
I wish we could do it for less mate. Get more people on board. There are a few things on the go for early next year. Might be more your cup of tea! Cheers

Thanks for the kind words and review. Really appreciated.
I’ve bought one of these from these guys and he’s really telling the truth. Delivered to the UK in under 7 days
Appreciate the shout out. 🙌 Thank you.
Did you have any tax/import fees??
Very minimal as HV will lower the declared value next to nothing for you. @@SteezyG
I didn’t pay any

Always a pleasure mate. Cheers
Wanted to order during the sale but will have to wait until next year. Keep up the good work everyone
Cheers mate. We will be ready when you are.

Thanks. I do make cable protectors that work with zip ties. I'll give it some thought. Appreciate you taking the time to post this.
This makes total sense to me. In this case you do get what you pay for.
Appreciate the kind words. Cheers
I've have one on a tadpole trike pulling a trl with my 55lb Dog and with 5 power settings rarely use 4th n 5th its just too much @ 72v,Thanks Guys
Cheers Colin! I bet your dog loves that!

Just because it’s cheaper doesn’t mean it’s better. Like anything you get what you pay for and I will always pay a few more dollars for good support
Appreciated. Cheers

It depends a bit on the Sur Ron. Stock they are pretty slow really. The quick ones have been modified with external controllers and such like.
BAC 855 is a lovely controller...but its a touch too rich for my blood unfortunately

@@HighVoltageKits fardrivers are cheap as chips and seem reliable tho..72v 80A for £115...
No PAS capability though with FD and the ASI field weakening algorithm is the best on the market. HV for the win!! @@ricksanchez3628
Pretty sure it's more because ACI are greedy fucks.
Thnx, going to look into those. @@ricksanchez3628
Is the peek gear included in the 699 price
I wish it was.
Why doesn it say on your website that it's sold out?
The way to list it sucks unfortunately. So email greg@highvoltagekits.com directly. Happy to sort you out with a kit.
